I'm reducing a star because the last time Pedroza came to our home, dispatched by the home warranty company, they said a service was needed that they didn't provide. I had to call an outside plumber & pay out of pocket (on top of the warranty's dispatch fee). The outside company fixed that problem (clogged sink) in 15 minutes, without needing the service Pedroza said was necessary. This dude is the worst. My bathroom sink was leaking so I called my home warranty company. The sent Pedroza Plumbing. He looked at my sink for about 10 seconds and said I don't think your insurance will cover this. He went I outside (so I couldn't hear him) to call my insurance company. He came back in and said they wouldn't cover the repair. Told me I needed new pipes(I didn't). After he left I called my insurance company. They told me that he told them the pipes had been tampered with. Of course they hadn't been. He lied to them to get out of doing the work. I guess he didn't feel like it. Lol. Smh. My insurance company scheduled another service provider to come out. I had to wait another week without my bathroom sink! When the new service provider arrived they assessed that the leak was due to a blockage and got right to work fixing it. He ran a snake, cleared the stoppage and my sink was working fine 15 minutes later. No new pipes needed. Again, do not use Pedroza Plumbing. They are incompetent and lazy. read more

Impressed! 8/23/24 I had a shower valve cartridge leaking and submitted a request from my home warranty. Pedroza Plumbing took the work order and contacted me within 30 min of the order. My day started with a clogged toilet. We only have one and this is a nightmare in the making. We rent, and our landlord has an insurance on situations like this. When Al showed up he did the best he could, but sadly, he was not able to unclog the toilet. He would need to go on the roof, and this was not covered by the insurance. My landlord worked out the price and the company said they will be by between 10 am and 12:pm tomorrow. Our landlord brought a porta-potty over for the night. Less than ideal situation. I then got a call from Al, the best plumber in town by far. He said he was thinking and he remember what it was like when he was in a similar situation. He came from West Covina to Pasadena on a Friday night to went on the roof and fixed the situation. The rate he charged was very reasonable, my landlord had no problem paying the money. If Al did not already go above and beyond was he needed to do, he found a critical problem under the basement that needed attention ASAP. Al, and those like them are my favorite type of people. Al @ Pedroza Plumbing impressive time management , showed up 10:00 AM . "On time Before Time " . Al the Plumber was so sharp diagnosed our upstairs toilet leak which was improper placement of Flange Height resulting to toilet ring leak . He was very honest and did impeccable job replacing parts and adding a 3rd toilet ring to stop the leak temporarily . Overall , he recommended that we hire a contractor to rip entire bathroom floor around $600.00 , re set up flange in proper height and replace rotten wood board . Al also replaced gasket on the toilet downstairs . Additionally the upstairs bath tub was unclogged . He snaked and got out a big clump of hair . I highly endorse Pedroza Plumbing for repairs . Pedroza worked with me in leak detection in my home. Al was my plumber. These guys work around your schedule are COVID safe and Al is one great guy. Started off in my home by triggering all the normal leak areas before eventually neatly opening up a 2x2 ft area in my wall. He found a very slow leak that had been there quite awhile. Had a main line stoppage on a Friday night (no working toilets, sinks or tubs in my entire home!). Called my home repair insurance and they sent Al from Pedroza Plumbing. It was a very tough job, requiring him to go up on the roof to snake our main line from the clean-out. I don't have a ground-level, two-way cleanout because I live in an older home. So it was a very, very tough job. But Al was up for the challenge and he worked very hard to clear our main line and save us from having to dig up our yard. Amazing job. Home warranty had Al from Pedroza Plumbing come out. My home warranty failed to correctly specify I had a gas leak as well so Al was able to help with the leaking toilet. They came out for our home warranty claim for garbage disposal, the technician wanted to charge extra $90.00 to reroute the pipe and we told him that we don't need to reroute the pipe. Just replace the non working garbage disposal, but the technician lied to home warranty insurance that we didn't maintain the garbage disposal (how do you maintain the garbage disposal ? Don't use it or what ? ) just because we didn't want to pay extra money. They now denied the claim. We'll file a complaint to California state license board for this unethical business practice. DON'T even use this company. read more

The pipe behing my stall shower wall broke. I frantically called several places, but no one could come for several days. A friend suggested Pedroza Plumbing and Rooter. I called and spoke to Al. He said he could be right over. But I wasn't even home. He had to wait for me as I raced home. And as I raced home, my check oil light went on in my car. Because you know, when it rains, it pours! So, expecting the worse case scenario of having the wall opened and HUGE expenses, Al was able to fix the issue in about 30 minutes and for less than $300.00 Then he went downstairs and checked for water. My hubby had cleaned it up before he left, but Al found more. He asked for towels, got on his hands and knees and wiped it dry for me. Then he used a detector to tell me where water was underneath and in the walls. Now, back to the car with the oil light. I mentioned it to him as he was doing his work.
