Kiwi Fruit Tea with Aiyu Jelly
    Sarah C.

I quite liked the kiwi fruit tea w aiyu jelly 0% sugar bc the kiwi & aiyu jelly were sweet so it balanced it out

New set up due to covid-19 social distancing. Order and pick up is at the entrance door.

I'm a believer when it comes to giving second chances, or even third chances. I will say this place definitely redeemed themselves. I waited a bit to write this review as I wanted to ensure my experiences were not just based off one visit, as I think consistency is what will set a place apart, especially in an area that is heavily concentrated with other boba spots. I've ordered my usual QQ Happy Family tea drink here with my specific modifications and they have made the drink on point. The service has been fine, nothing too notable since the pandemic hit so the interaction is very minimal especially if you order via kiosk or food delivery apps. Whenever I'm in the area, I do make the effort to get a drink from here!

located directly across from the movie theater entrance...self-order kiosk at the entrance...only issues being that substitutions are not an option on the kiosk or ordering online...taking the taro blend and substituting the pudding with pearls instead at the counter...50% sweet requested...roughly $8 even for the drink...number provided and waiting...drink ready and grabbing...cold blended taro drink with plenty of taro inside...daughter loving the drink...

Perfection in a cup! What a fun DoorDash order for a sleepy afternoon. Order was perfectly executed and quick. Fresh ingredients even with a large menu. If you haven't tried it, do so.

Left: Classic Pearl Milk Tea with ice cream Right: Coffee Ice Blended with Ice Cream

Ordered on kiosk, service was very quick. Drinks were made perfectly. It was aesthetic and quiet on a weekday, good place to go if you need to get some work done.

I've been to multiple locations and have never had a bad experience! I usually just get a milk tea but I tried the taro ice blended with 30% sweetness and it was pretty good. Would come back!

So happy Sharetea is open on the weekdays again! During the shelter-in-place (SIP) order, Sharetea was closed for a period of time and then resumed business only on the weekend! Personally, I like their milk tea more than other places because there is more of a tea taste and not super milky or watered down like other boba shops. My usual order is the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea but didn't get it today because I recently ate a lot of Asian desserts so I only settled for the Classic Boba Milk Tea. Still should've stuck with my usual order because the Classic Boba Milk Tea Red Oolong lacked some tea taste (or maybe they just didn't make it as good because they were rushing the order). A bit off with the tea flavor this time but overall, they usually do not disappoint!

OVERALL: Fun boba place with a large menu and good service. Drinks can be too sweet though. DRINKS: They have a lot of different drink options. I prefer fruit teas and they have a lot of those particularly. They have a few different toppings too - Boba, cream, jellies, etc. I've had the passion Fruit mango and the tropical teas. The tropical was my favorite of the two. The downside is that their drinks are SUPER sweet. Even at 0% sweetness, there is still a lot of sugar. They are good but I need to be more in the mood for a dessert than a drink. SPACE: Right now you can't sit inside but they have a pretty cool space to hangout in and have your drink. It's pretty big for a boba place. With COVID, you have to walk up and order at their kiosk and they'll bring your drink up to the table and call your name. SERVICE: Using the kiosk was easy. Staff were friendly and wearing masks. Drink came out fast.

I used to like this place mostly for their QQ family. But when I ordered that today there was something I pulled out of drink it was disgusting and frankly scary because I didn't know what it was at first. When I pulled it out, it was a long string. It almost look like floss or some plastic string, so not safe. Never coming back here again period.

I came here after lunch today. Share tea is located upstairs in the food court at Hillsdale Mall. No one was in line and my husband and I ordered our drinks. I really liked mine because it was not so sweet, had oolong tea, grass jelly, boba and lychee jelly. My husband's drink was some sort of plum tea. The boba was soft and chewy just right. All the other ingredients were fresh and delicious! I would recommend you come visit this place if you are in the San Mateo area and want some good boba!

We were in the area for a minute and glad we stumbled upon Sharetea to grab some boba tea. What a great set-up they have during these uncertain times. We tried #21 Coffee Milk Tea for the first time and it was delicious. I looooove coffee, so this made it even better! If you haven't tried it yet, I definitely recommend it.

One thing I wish I would have done is ask for it heated because I saw some other people doing that and it looked delicious. The morning bun was so good. It had a beautiful medley of spices that truly brightened your morning. The flavors were so balanced. As for the ham and cheese croissant, the star was the ham. The flavor of the ham reminded me of a thanksgiving ham. It was amazing! Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with anything here. I regret not getting a full loaf of bread to take home with me.

TL;DR: expensive drink but worth every penny…read more I popped by on a random weekday afternoon after a client meeting and was looking for a sweet treat. There was no line at all, so my drink came out really quickly. Service was efficient, and basically non existent since you order on your phone, and pick it up from the counter. They have some seats indoors and a few benches outside, it's pretty spare and basic inside which is all you really need in a cafe. I saw a lot of people getting takeout, and some small groups around tables chatting. I was debating between the matcha and houjicha, then got intrigued by the black sesame, and finally after much internal debate, decided that black sesame + houjicha would work best together and wanted the einspanner. They honestly have so many intriguing options like Earl grey matcha einspanner??? Banana pudding?? I have to come back. My only complaint is the price but I guess everything is expensive these days. $8/9 for one of these drinks hurt my heart though. On the flavors: while I wish there was more black sesame (I always do), this was one of the most satisfyingly black sesame items I've had from a cafe. It went really well with the toasty roasty notes from the houjicha and I think they added enough of both amidst the milk to make it a very satisfying drink. This can be rare because a lot of places drown out all the flavors with too much milk. The best part though, was the einspanner - the sweetened whipped cream on top really brought the whole drink together and was so delicious. It made it just that little bit more decadent. I got it at minimal sweetness and at first though it wasn't enough, but I was glad I did as I worked my way through the cup, it was perfect.

While the design was cute and the crepes were thin, there wasnt enough biscoff creme (only about 1 layer for every 4-5 layers of plain vanilla creme) for the flavor to really come through. For a special holiday flavor like this, we expected a stronger biscoff flavor. If theres a special again, we'd be willing to give another flavor a try!

Cute HK-inspired cafe, but misses on value and authenticity…read moreFinally got to check out this Hong Kong-style cafe after months of hearing about it, and overall it felt underwhelming and pricey for what you get. The concept is fun, but in this case quality did not really rise above quantity. The setup is self-serve: you order at a kiosk, grab your own water, and utensils come out with the food. After ordering, you pick up a number stand and bring it to your table. That part is straightforward, but the menu prices felt high, especially given that HK-style cafes are typically more budget-friendly. What we tried: * Mango Sunrise: The kids enjoyed this one, and it felt fairly priced for what it was. * HK OG Lemon Tea: You can customize ice and sweetness, which is a nice touch, but the flavor didn't really scream "OG." The tea lacked the depth and lemon brightness you'd expect from a classic version. * HK Style French Toast with Peanut Butter: Served cut into quarters with condensed milk on the side. It was decent, but nothing about it stood out enough to justify the higher price, especially knowing there are more affordable options nearby. * Satay Fish Ball / Siu Mai: These tasted like basic frozen snacks dressed up for the menu. The satay sauce didn't complement the fish balls well, and the siu mai texture was pasty rather than bouncy and satisfying. * Honey BBQ Chicken Wings: Four wings for around nine dollars felt steep, and they lacked crispness and that satisfying HK-style street barbecue flavor I was hoping for. * BBQ Pork Char Siu, Egg & Rice: The portion felt small for the price. The char siu had decent flavor but was overcooked, the "over easy" egg came out fully cooked through, and the vegetables were also overdone. While this place has a cute vibe and shows promise as an HK-inspired cafe, a lot of the authenticity and creativity you'd expect from that label just isn't there yet. For now, I'd call it more "HK-inspired" than true HK-style, and I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to come back.
