Food: 2/5 I ordered the new chicken maple sandwich and chive potato bites. The sandwich smelled heavily of maple, but upon actually eating it I could barely taste it. The sandwich itself in the middle was cold which was disappointing. The egg bites were delicious but overall lacked flavor. The location did not have any pepper nor sriracha which would have helped. Service: 4/5 Service was okay, timely and the people who helped me were kind. Ambiance: 3/5 There is a seating area near the Starbucks to sit down. However, it is very loud and lots of coming traffic from safeway shoppers. I was glad I got a chance to sit down here though as outside in the freezing cold it was much worse. read more

Drinks are always made to order. I've had no issues. Service has been on target. I order online and for the most part the order is ready by the time I pick up. I can't believe that on a scorching 90-degree day, I was NOT allowed to purchase a simple cup of water at Starbucks!! I went to the register ready to pay (even tho that has been free for how many years..?) but I was told I couldn't get anything unless I bought a drink or food item. That's not just really frustrating, that's also pure greed. For the past four years--though it's actually been much longer--I've been a loyal customer, getting a double-smoked bacon breakfast sandwich and a large white mocha or frappuccino Every Single Morning!! My Starbucks app can prove it! I spend minimum $12 a day (if its a random, off day and my son doesn't want anything) yet today, when I needed a cup of water to cool down, I was treated as if I didn't have any value as a customer because I wasn't ordering anything at that moment. Honestly, Starbucks, this policy is disappointing. Even if I wasn't a regular customer, you should at least allow people to buy water, especially on hot days. And to the guy behind the counter at this specific location, a little humanity and humility wouldn't hurt. You're not above anyone else. read more

The drinks are usually made accurately which is great. Also the employees have always been polite. However this is by far the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. I live close by this location but I frequent other locations due to work. I can order from my house, get in my vehicle, drive 8-10min there, park, walk in and still have to wait 5-10min even when there's only 2 other customers in there. It's absolutely wild. I'm pretty laid back as I use to work customer service and I understand. Today my drink happens to be incorrect (they forgot the sweetener) which isn't the end of the world and I'll be just fine with it. i stopped in for a coffee, i ordered a large praline latte. when i got home i went to [ut some coffee creamer in it and was a little shocked to see that they didnt fill it up all the way. it was about a quarter of the cup empty. this thing costs 7 bucks so it's a little upsetting. the coffee was still very good and the servers were nice, but not sure why the cup was a quarter empty. read more

Drinks are consistently delicious. Service is hit and miss. This mornings mobile order was not ready shortly after opening. One other customer who did a walk up order was there. Two employees. A cashier and a barista. The barista asked if I had mobile ordered. I said yes and he then walked over to the printer and got the drink sticker. Had to wait another 5 for my drink on top of the 10 it takes me to get there from down town hitting red lights. Be sure you give mobile orders extra time to complete it. Just in case they don't hear the ticket printer or the cashier doesn't help out the barista by sticking the order on the cup. She was only half way stocking the racks in the line waiting area. Which could've clearly waited the less than 10 seconds to help her coworker. Also noticed the garbages are not emptied the night before. Whenever I am visiting Santa Rosa, this is always my morning ritual. Starbucks, sort of like McDonald's, in that you always know what you're going to get when you walk up to the counter. This is not a bad thing, as I do enjoy the coffee and bakery goods at Starbucks. I usually come to this Starbucks a couple of times a year when we are visiting friends. And I have to say every single time I go I am treated like family right from the start. The Baristas are super cool, very friendly, and go out of their way to make you feel like you belong there. It's a fairly popular spot, so if you're planning on going there before work make sure you factor in a few minutes, as the line can get a little long. But that doesn't stop the Baristas from fulfilling orders really, really fast. Bottom line? I wish that I would have known about this place earlier, as I would have made it my local hang out 5 years earlier. Definitely go there if you happen to be in Santa Rosa and need a hot cup of coffee. read more

The associate was reminded that part of the order was not ready. Upon delivery of food, the associate handed me the food angrily. Not sure what I said or did. Starbucks doesn't have Eggnog Latte this holiday season! So untraditional. Peet's doesn't have it either. So disappointing.

I had the absolutely worst experience at the Starbucks. There was a homeless person that had set up camp outside and he was obviously high on some kind of drug and was doing all sorts of crazy things on the table I decided I had enough so went inside to ask for a carrier to take my drinks home, and as I was doing this this homeless man walked in behind me and with what appeared to be phlegm all over his hands reached next to me and started grabbing napkins out of the napkin dispenser it was absolutely disgusting. The person behind the counter saw this and did not say a thing. He went back outside to the table where he had set up camp and I watched to see if the staff would clean the napkin dispenser... I was shocked to see they did not. I asked "are you planning to clean that ?" and they said they would get To it when they had time. I could not believe that response. This is prolly my favorite 'bucks in the area. They are always willing to donate coffee for charity events, they are totally accomodating, and easy to work with. The staff is chipper and friendly, and when a guy the other day made off with my drink instead of his, the girl gladly fixed the problem in about 2 seconds. I DO NOT LIKE AT ALL their black coffee here, it's really hidious. But the specialty drinks are spot on, and taste as they should. The food items are also always fresh. Good Job! read more

I would like to start with saying that I really appreciated the cashier. She was nice and she took my order correctly and asked all the right questions. I had no issues with her and she was sweet. She's the reason this gets three stars and not 1. Now, for starters barista had me waiting 7 minutes for my drink. Mind you I was the only person there and there were no other orders being made but mine. I waited 7 minutes for a pumpkin spice latte (I know basic right?) and that didn't bother me too much. It was the fact that my drink wasn't even the right drink. I had driven away already and I live 30 minutes away and I had a class in 40 minutes online. No way I could turn back. The drink was right on the tag, but the drink was definitely not pumpkin spice. Had no flavor what so ever other than burnt incorrectly dialed in espresso and not very well frothed oat milk. 7 minutes of wait for something that was kinda gross and not even correct. I'm a barista and I don't just press buttons. I weigh the espresso and the shot and do all that jazz and it takes me 2 minutes regardless the drink. So this was just a joke all over. Barista was brunette and had glasses. So hopefully this serves her as constructive criticism from another barista. read more

Drinks are great and typical of all starbucks... but the service and the baristas are pleasant here! A great day to start your day. They are all happy (but not disgustingly happy) for 8am, get the specialty drinks done right, and even memorize what I order. service is quick and always with a smile. I was in town for a funeral and came in to order 3 travelers for the service. I appreciate how friendly the cashier was and how everyone had a light hearted spirit. The order took just as long as expected & everything was provided. I didn't have to ask for any additional condiments for the coffee. A man in front of me was struggling to count his change and vocalize his order. This place is just truly unbelievable. They surprise me every time with how incredible they can make their coffee just truly the nectar of the gods. They also have an insanely cute barista named Hayley for sure have to check her out. Other than that place is spotless can basically drink off the ground. Starbucks products and prices are what they are; I don't really approve of $5 drinks that don't include alcohol, but not THIS store's fault. I happen to be a Matcha junkie, and the Buck has the best of the large chains. The staff at this location are great, especially Jarrod, who always has my venti green tea latte, nonfat, no classic ready for me when I get up to the counter, even when it's slammin' busy, which it often is. This Starbucks is the worst. They are all extremely slow employees who seem to be on their own schedule with a complete lack of a sense of urgency. The "barista" tonight typed in my order differently that I placed it specifically because it would cost me more money. At ANY OTHER STARBUCKS what I ordered would have cost $2.85 the way I ordered it (I know because I order it regularly and was specifically told by the manager of a different local Starbucks to order it that way because it's cheaper). However, tonight it cost me $4.55. I'm sorry but nothing you sell in a short cup should cost that much. You're Starbucks, not Atlas or Flying Goat. From now on I'll brave the Stoney Point & Sebastopol Starbucks. It might take a few extra minutes but at least they'll place my order like I order it and I'll save a few bucks. read more
