Really love this location. The drinks are not overly sweet and they are consistent. There are several tables inside and a few with umbrellas outside too! The people working here are great. They are friendly and polite. One of them even knows a ton about Peet's history - the founder, the original CA location and following, and the business (how it was bought, along with Caribou amongst others, due to its brand and loyal Burbank following). The place is clean and bright with the large windows. Parking is annoying out front, but there are other options with the garage and some spots in the back. I also like how the baristas loudly and clearly say your name and/or drink when it's ready. No mistakes ever. The menu constantly has specials throughout the year. Right now the focus is on coconut (there's a yelp deal too!). The black tie is amazing - it comes with condensed milk. Bottom line: come here for a guaranteed good cup of coffee or fancier drink. It could be a five star place if their food and beverages didn't give me bad stomach. I almost always get sick after consuming their pastries. But with coffee it depends. Great services, great tastes, they just need to work harder on making their food and drink safe to consume. The Peet's in Silver Spring has the same issues so I stopped going there. I do have a more sensitive stomach than normal people but I never had any issues with the Peet's at Metro Center or any Starbucks. I really wanted to get out to grab a delicious coffee but I really don't want to feel sick. Hope you can fix this soon. Also, please don't sell expired sandwich, I normally don't check the expiration date as I assume people will do their job. It is disgusting to realize the food had expired and gone bad after consuming half of it and seeing the brown and greenish ham. This is a suggestion to Peets in general, you do have good coffee and good services, but I really think you should have a better quality control on your food/drink safety. No matter how bad a Starbucks place looks like, and how poor their services are, I never get sick by consuming their food/ drink, this is why I can put up with all the flaws they have and keep going back. read more

Good coffee. Offers outdoor seating currently, but will not let you use the bathroom. I understand limiting people indoors due to COVID, but when you sell a beverage and allow people to consume it on the premises you need a bathroom plan. I was instructed by staff to go to a business I didn't patron and ask to use it there. This is not an okay suggestion, and the staff did not seem understanding. There is also no signage about lack of bathrooms either. I may have made a different decision had I known. read more

Peets has great coffee and espresso drinks. I mean they're really really good, and honestly have the best cafe latte I've had next to private establishments in Miami (honestly in my opinion nothing compares to a REAL Cuban coffee). While I dont frequent on breakfast bakery type items- there's are really very good. I picked up a ton of muffins and coissants for our office a few weeks back and they were very fresh and bakery quality, amd no they're not offering cake pops, but they do have a nice selection of grab and go items. They offer some similar menu items without Starbucks ridiculous names. Honestly I never like ordering a blended coffee drink as a "frapaccino"; it sounds like something a 9th grader would say (and I think dunking donuts did it first with the "coolata", so I'm not sure why Starbucks thinks they're the epitome if awesome for this hyperglycemic creation). I'd even dare to say their coffee is better, and other clientele seems to feel the same way. Peets isn't attracting the 14-17 year olds that congregate in corners and giggle at memes all day, because something about it is a bit more sophisticated. There are no captain crunch frapaccinos (thank goodness)- Peets is doing what they promise- really great coffee and tea, no frills, and without trying to be the Walmart of bourgeois beverages and unfortunate baked goods. read more

I've come to this location a few times, as it's walking distance from my office. All the staff I've seen have been friendly and efficient, and the drinks are well-made. There's some parking spots out front, including some reserved for Peet's customers, but it can be awkward getting in and out. It's never been too busy when I've been here, usually either in the early morning or in the afternoons; there's seating both inside and outside and it seems like it would be a pretty peaceful place to get some work done during the day. This location is such a blessing. No need for Starbucks in Tyson's when Peet's makes such beautiful coffee with no wait and reasonable pricing. There is also easy and ample parking for those trying to make a quick caffeine stop before shopping at the mall. The staff is VERY friendly and quick. I am here several times a week and at different times of day and they are always on their A game. Plus, they really know how to make a cappuccino, they are not joking around. :) I'm a huge fan of their breakfast too. Try their ham and cheese croissant, but not if it's the last one. Nice local coffee spot. Quick and efficient staff that are able to get orders out quickly. It might not be the best coffee in the world but it hits the spot for the coffee critiques I know. Ample parking, just be sure to get there earlier on Saturday's as they seem the busiest in the mornings then. Line can be a bit long but as I mentioned the staff quickly take orders and work hard to get orders out. Nice selection if your a big coffee fan and want something a bit different than Starbucks. Personally I feel like this is a really nice local spot that provides good prices and good quality coffee to start mornings off right. read more

i hadn't seen a Peet's coffee store except for in the DFW airport or SFO so to see one was a pleasant surprise. My wife and i get the coffee for home all the time. This visit was a sunday morning prior to going to a Redskins game (they won) but this is about the coffee and the food... this isn't like starbucks with a hidden secret menu of stuff you don't want... it's the stuff YOU DO that you see on the shelf of supermarkets but ALSO the stuff made in small batches and ground for YOUR personal cup!! This location is a bit tricky to get to. I'm actually not quite sure how one gets there without having to circle all the way around the complex and then the parking I don't know where there is parking that isn't reserved. I don't know much about coffee I drink it for the caffeine kick. So I don't know if the coffee is better than Starbucks or other places. The staff is friendly, quick and informative. read more

First time coming here was when the entire area had no electricity except for a few businesses and Peet's was one of them. You could tell too because after the wind storm we had, everyone was in that tiny shop. The best thing about it was that they were well accustomed to having multiple orders, a packed coffee shop and a noisier environment. There were no issues making our orders, no issues of having someone take your coffee (they actually made sure people remembered what coffee they ACTUALLY ordered and the size). The parking right out front is tight, so when you have no parking you'll have to go into the garage but ask at the counter (Don't Forget to Ask) for a token and that'll validate your parking. 5 Stars because they kept me awake and my cell phone charged when that weekend was hellish for my family. read more

Great place and friendly staff. This was my first visit. It's a small location but plenty of parking is available. I had a meeting here and it was great, not too crowded but it was easy to find a spot. There aren't a lot if food options but you have to remember its a coffee shop. Havana cappuccino is all I have to say . We don't have Peet's coffee New York City and I wish we did . I used my $1 off the Havana cappuccino thanks to Yelp and so glad I tried it ! Its a perfect balance of milky froth with a touch of sweetness mixed with not too strong espresso . My husband and I also tried the chicken chorizo flatbread and the maple chicken sausage with egg and cheese sandwiches. I loved loved the chicken chorizo flatbread ! I've been wanting to come to this place and glad I did. The ambience here is nice, cool and relaxing. To me it came off as a coffee bean tea & leaf store mixed with a Teavana store. I ordered the Mayan mocha on ice. It was good. Can't complain but I came again to order the same drink hot & I am not sure if the barista made me a pumpkin latte on accident but the only thing I can suggest as a customer is that they should hire more baristas because I waited quite a while for my drink. I love this place! I love how they have a small independent coffee shop feel even though there are chain. What a beautiful addition to Tysons Corner! I love how they take pride in their presentation of their lattes and present there beautiful latte art. Its always nice to see even though I end up covering it anyway. The space is bright and beautiful and always clean. & I love their bran muffin which is lighter in color than most other bran muffins...its very tasty! The staff is very friendly too!
