Qamaria is a nice, clean and easily accessible coffee spot in downtown Vienna with a mix of beverages and treats to enjoy. The day we were there, we ordered a mango smoothie which had nice mango flavor and a mocha. For nibbles, we opted for the large Nutella croissant and the honey cake which is what they recommended when we asked. Many of the desserts in the case looked homemade which is a good thing in my book. The honey cake was a new treat and we enjoyed it but would have loved even more honey flavor. The space has plenty of seating and some colorful wall art as décor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was very interesting to learn about the history of mocha and coffee's historic link to Yemen. I wish there was even more info to be shared[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was very friendly and helpful and the space is quiet and relaxing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is plenty of parking.
This Yemeni coffee shop in Vienna has been open for a little while now, and I don't know why I haven't been here sooner! Qamaria has a big menu, but I wanted to try some of their signature drinks. I tried the Qamaria latte; it has two double shots of espresso, cardamom, cinnamon, and honey. This was really tasty and not too sweet. Now, for the drink that was hands down so good that I would absolutely come back to get it again: the pistachio latte. This had a great balance between the pistachio and espresso. 10/10 would recommend. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop has plenty of space to sit down and enjoy your drink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is also a convenient parking lot with plenty of spaces. Can't wait to come back to Qamaria to try their other drinks!
Super unimpressed. Went in and was told to order at the kiosk while we were looking in the case. We did so, but I couldn't find the pastries I was interested in on the kiosk menu. I wanted to try the beef or butternut squash pastries. Oh, well - figured I'd try the other savory option, the breakfast egg croissant. The description said it had melty cheese and zaatar seasoning on the crispy croissant. When I tried to add it to my cart, I had to select American cheese AND regular cream cheese for an additional $.50 each. I was super confused as they were part of the description, so it seemed odd to select them and add them as extras. I couldn't add the order unless I did so, though. I asked the girl behind the counter and she admitted that it was a glitch and said she could give me back 50 cents if I wanted. Now I look like a grumpy customer, so I declined her offer and proceeded with my order. See pic. What I received had no flavor (zaatar, where are you???), the cheese was not melty at all. The croissant wasn't crispy in the least...and the eggs? A greenish blue. The whole thing wasn't even warm. Maybe on the edges, like it had been microwaved for 30 secs. Not appetizing, but I already felt like I'd been a difficult customer, so wasn't eager to raise a complaint. BTW, the plain cream cheese was just weird, overkill. Maybe that's how they do it in Yemen, but it doesn't make me feel interested in visiting this establishment again...Yemen. My son had the Nutella croissant and thought it was very good. It was crispy and seemed fresher. My husband had the pistachio tres leches cake and it was good, but he didn't feel like it was anything super special. Seemed like it had been in the case for a while. I don't get the sense that their food is super fresh and very much doubt it's made on site. My husband's coffee with cardamom was delicious. My matcha was just fine. Overall, I wasn't super impressed and will not be eager to be back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating is pretty good, and if you like fake plants they have plenty to look at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd give 2.5 stars if I could, but definitely cannot round up to 3 based on my egg croissant.
I give this place a 10/10. I have been here a million times, and Qamaria never fails. There are currently two Yemeni coffee houses in the area, but I am very loyal to the Vienna location. Personally just prefer the drinks here, and the customer service is also really good. If you're someone who likes boba or coffee after dinner, I'd highly suggest this place as they have everything from regular coffee/espresso drinks to unique kinds of lattes, and my personal favorite, the Adeni Chai latte. Also there's different types of cakes/desserts that go together perfectly with your drink. Highly suggest the basbousa if you are trying something -- it's perfectly light, yummy, but not too sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While it's not super huge, it's still a good size and I often see people in here studying or families gathering to have tea. The ambiance is very welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So overall, I have to rate it as a great cafe. We will obviously be back.

The honey cake was a nice surprise--not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Cons: Unfortunately, they don't offer decaf coffee, which is a letdown if you prefer or need decaf like I do. Also, the atmosphere could use some work. The space feels a bit plain and uninviting--some updates to the decor could really help create a more welcoming vibe.
I feel like the honeycomb cake and the honey cake don't have a lot of honey to them. However, they are sweet and they are very aesthetically pleasing for Ramadan. They have the hot date latte, Frappuccino, or iced latte. The hot date latte was good and very naturally sweet. The matcha latte is not very good since it was a bit clumpy even though the color was beautiful. The café is very aesthetically pleasing, but I feel like the food and drink is lacking somewhat. Great place to study or do work or catch up with people.

I've been to this coffee shop a couple of times! If you want to experience authentic Yemeni coffee, head straight to Qamaria! They offer a variety of Yemeni coffees to try. I ordered a simple latte with oat milk, and it was really good. I didn't order the one with spices. Maybe next time! I also asked for it in a mug, which made it extra special. The Lotus Tres Leches cake was a great companion to the coffee, not too sweet. I've also tried the Honey comb cake, and the honey cake, which are not bad at all! It looked like they were training someone during our visit, which may explain why tables were not being cleaned at the time. I was excited to try this place! I haven't had Yemeni Coffee before and I thought it was very cool that they had Yemeni pastries as well. Unfortunately, the food didn't stand out to me and I was quite disappointed. My Qamaria Latte was nothing special. I thought I would taste the spices more but it just tasted like a regular latte, even a little heavy on the milk. The Honey Cake was also nothing special; I actually didn't taste the honey. My friends and I agreed that it tasted more like a graham cracker cake than anything else. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cafe is nice and I saw a lot of people working there. I had a coffee with cardamom that was really good and some pistachio cake that was ok. Wife had the matcha that was pretty at least. Kind of annoying that you can't order anything unless you use the kiosk, especially since the kiosk had some glitches that overcharged my wife. Meh. read more

Okay...so I gave this place a 3 because I enjoyed the items I got, but they did not follow instructions on my bees bread. I asked for extra honey and they did not give it to me. Another nit pick is that the cream cheese the bread was not evenly pocketed. And some parts of it was dry. Flavor wise it is ok, but not the best I've had. As far as the iced matcha mango latte. It was really yummy, but why was it so small?!?!??! Considering I paid almost $11 bucks for it, the cups was like 12 Oz. And so narrow. Sigh I know other competitors around the area that offer different sizes for less and taste way better... read more

I ordered the Pistachio Latte and it is so beyond amazing--immediately after finishing my first cup already craved for another one. Layered so perfectly, I love how bold the pistachio flavor is but did not take over the coffee and still kept it intense and strong--perfect and creamy latte. Service was very friendly! read more

First time trying Qamaria, a new Yemeni coffee shop in Vienna. I appreciated how friendly the staff were despite the holiday rush! Here's what we tried: Iced pistachio latte (4/5) - This was nutty and not as sweet as the pistachio latte at Shotted. I preferred the flavor here, though the pistachio sauce was a bit chunkier than expected Qamaria latte (3/5) - The cardamom and cinnamon were noticeable but not overwhelming. However, if you're not a fan of these spices, this might not be for you Honey cake (3.5/5) - Light and not too sweet, with well-balanced layers. It's not as dense as your typical cake I'd come here more often if I lived in the area. read more
Absolutely incredible coffee with chill, inviting vibes. When you enter, you're hit with the heavenly smell of cardamom and see delicious pastries and sweets displayed. The cashier was friendly and the service was quick. I got a hot Qamaria Latte- my goodness, it is amazing. I LOVED the combination of cardamom and cinnamon in coffee. I also tried some sips of their Iced Pistachio Latte- natural flavors were used (bonus) and it's tasty as well. I personally recommend getting their signature Qamaria Latte! I love coffee options with pistachio, cardamom, and these sorts of flavors- I honestly think I just found myself a new regular coffee place. I cannot wait to come back! read more
My friend and I originally were going to a soft opening of a deli nearby, but they actually sold out so we drove down the street to this quaint and nice cafe. Qamaria had been on my list for a long time, so I'm so happy we could visit. The staff at the cash register was super nice last Sunday morning, and she was so helpful in suggesting some drinks and desserts based on asking what flavors we like. Her recs were on point! Im usually an iced coffee drinker, but she encouraged us to get the hot lattes and it really gave the ultimate fall vibes like she said: cinnamon and cardomom is a perfect mix in coffee!!!!! The rest of the staff was friendly as well and the coffee and food came out in no time. Our spread was plated so well, and aesthetically pleasing with the colorful tray and latte art. I appreciated the attention to details. The honeycomb cake was my favorite dessert we got, it was not too sweet and reminded me of an Asian pastry. The cafe started filling up with someone doing laptop work, a pair chatting, and some other guests. I liked the quiet and unassuming vibe, great spot overall and looking forward to returning to try their other drinks and desserts. read more

Love this place! Cafe is big enough for you to work or hang with friends. Keep in mind music is played in the background. I can feel the authenticity of this place. I've never been to Yemen, but you can just tell the interior and what they serve is authentic. I love their coffee. Very unique by adding a simple spice to your coffee. I would come here again! More like 3.5 stars. It's a nice spot for teleworking, and when I visited on a weekday at 2 pm, there were plenty of seats available. However, despite the place being fairly empty, the service was a bit slow, and I had to wait a while for my drink and cake to come out. Qamaria Iced Latte - 4/10: This wasn't for me. It tasted like a mix of strong honey ginger and burnt sugar, which wasn't too pleasant. If you're not a fan of strong, scented flavors, this drink might not be for you. Pistachio Cake - 8/10: This was pretty good--really moist with just the right amount of sweetness. If I come back, I'd like to try the honeycomb dessert and the pistachio latte. read more

Though on the pricier side, it's worth a try if you're visiting. - Qamaria Latte: 7/10 - Iced Mocha: 6/10 - Matcha Latte: 3/10 - Iced Adeni Chai Latte: 7/10 SERVICE The staff are warm and welcoming. AMBIANCE The interior is beautifully decorated and well-maintained. There are plenty of tables on both sides of the store, making it a great spot for catching up with friends or getting some work done. BATHROOMS The bathrooms are clean and well-kept. I've been to Qamariah in two states and three different cities. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the ambience in each ine. They have a model and you can tell they stick to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This location IS out of sight so it's hard to just drive by and discover it but once found it's great. Very consistent taste and quality. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you don't know what to get. read more
This was coffee spot #2 of 4 for me & fellow Yelper, HeideAnn during our coffee marathon. I came in with tunnel vision and was set on ordering the Pistachio Latte, which was $7.25. I was so focused on this drink, I forgot to ask for a different milk and to order the honeycomb pastry!! A lighter milk would definitely help the flavors come out more.......note to self for next time and anyone else who plans on ordering this drink. Some of their prices are on the higher end, and that's not factoring in alternative milk options. Their cakes look like they are freshly made and displayed in the original pans in which they were baked. There is a small "hallway" leading from the register to the seating area, which I appreciate. This allows customers to enjoy their drinks/food without worry about other customers waiting in line and hovering around them. Upon arrival, the place was empty, but it started filling up slowly. I can imagine this cafe gets crowded in the evening or even weekday mornings. The decorations are perfect and sets the mood. There is parking in front of and around the coffee shop. Would I return? Enough of my friends mentioned this place in the past, making me want to visit the first time...so for sure, if I'm in the area....I need to try the honeycomb pastry..and maybe even another drink!!! read more
I loved it here! The moment you step in this location it smells heavenly, if they ever come out with a candle I would buy it ASAP. The server at the front was quite helpful when I informed her it was my first time at this location. There was ample seating in my opinion. My friend and I spent hours in here just chatting that's how comfortable I felt here. I will definitely come back, I have already lol with a group of friends in the evening. They seemed to like it quite a lot too. I didn't try any food but I did get their dessert, which was so yummy. read more

Clean, classy, ethic, and authentic, but high priced and does not have sufficient (hot) food options. I ordered the pistachio iced latte along with the coffee (tres leches type) cake; both were fine but for ~$16 (without tip), it wasn't worth it. I do wish they had some sandwiches or other hot foods; it's mostly a pastry type place. The service was fine and the atmosphere great - spacious, clean, and had nice Arabic music playing - but for the price and food options, it may not be ideal for someone that wants a meal. The place is ideal for meeting up with friends who strictly want an array of unique coffee/teas. Normally I would give it 3/5, but because of its uniqueness 3.5 - 4/5. read more

So let me spill the beans about Qamaria Yemeni Coffee. Decor: Sadly it is not exactly turning heads but it looks decent and if they could do little more it would be a nice vibe without a doubt. Ideally throw in more art, historical facts or a sign that screams "Authentic Yemen vibes." Drinks: So I mainly stuck to the iced drinks such as Araysi, Iced Pistachio Latte, Iced Aden and 1 hot drink which was Qamaria Latte. Honestly, very thing tasted solid. I am not a coffee expert but I know what is good or bad and I loved everything I tried :) Portion Size: Great news is you won't be sipping from a tiny cup like you're at a fancy tea party. The size was great and didn't leave me feel like I got scammed Price: Thankfully this place won't make your bank account cry. Plus, they have this loyalty system by entering your number so there will be perks if you come enough. Would I Go Back? 100% I'd sprint back to Qamaria faster than you can say "espresso." The cozy vibes, the friendly baristas and that tasty drink really bring this place home. So, if you're in Vienna, swing by and Just remember, the decor might not be Instagram-worthy, but the drinks are! read more
