TLDR [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautifully decorated coffee shop with great customizable drinks and a nicely spiced latte.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Minor cleanliness issue but would return.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This coffee shop is decorated so nicely it genuinely feels like you are transported out of the parking lot and into a different space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating options are great, but unfortunately our table was not clean when we sat down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was fine overall. It looked like they were training someone during our visit, which may explain why tables were not being cleaned at the time. The coffee menu has a nice variety with lots of customization options, which I really appreciated. The latte was especially good and nicely spiced. I would definitely come back to try a dessert and grab another drink.

I was excited to try this place! I haven't had Yemeni Coffee before and I thought it was very cool that they had Yemeni pastries as well. Unfortunately, the food didn't stand out to me and I was quite disappointed. My Qamaria Latte was nothing special. I thought I would taste the spices more but it just tasted like a regular latte, even a little heavy on the milk. The Honey Cake was also nothing special; I actually didn't taste the honey. My friends and I agreed that it tasted more like a graham cracker cake than anything else. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cafe is nice and I saw a lot of people working there. It has a cute vibe but I didn't think the drink nor the pastries were great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Literally obsessed. The pistachio latte was hands down the best I've ever had- rich, perfectly balanced, and actually tastes like real pistachio (not artificial at all). It's a must-try.

I had a coffee with cardamom that was really good and some pistachio cake that was ok. Wife had the matcha that was pretty at least. Kind of annoying that you can't order anything unless you use the kiosk, especially since the kiosk had some glitches that overcharged my wife. Meh.

It was outlandishly expensive even for a chain, even for Vienna. I would like to try their pistachio matcha but the cost is crazy. The Qamaria latte was pretty smooth but on the sweeter side and I wasn't a fan of the graininess of the cardamom

Qamaria is a nice, clean and easily accessible coffee spot in downtown Vienna with a mix of beverages and treats to enjoy. The day we were there, we ordered a mango smoothie which had nice mango flavor and a mocha. For nibbles, we opted for the large Nutella croissant and the honey cake which is what they recommended when we asked. Many of the desserts in the case looked homemade which is a good thing in my book. The honey cake was a new treat and we enjoyed it but would have loved even more honey flavor. The space has plenty of seating and some colorful wall art as décor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was very interesting to learn about the history of mocha and coffee's historic link to Yemen. I wish there was even more info to be shared[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was very friendly and helpful and the space is quiet and relaxing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is plenty of parking.

This Yemeni coffee shop in Vienna has been open for a little while now, and I don't know why I haven't been here sooner! Qamaria has a big menu, but I wanted to try some of their signature drinks. I tried the Qamaria latte; it has two double shots of espresso, cardamom, cinnamon, and honey. This was really tasty and not too sweet. Now, for the drink that was hands down so good that I would absolutely come back to get it again: the pistachio latte. This had a great balance between the pistachio and espresso. 10/10 would recommend. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop has plenty of space to sit down and enjoy your drink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is also a convenient parking lot with plenty of spaces. Can't wait to come back to Qamaria to try their other drinks!

I give this place a 10/10. I have been here a million times, and Qamaria never fails. There are currently two Yemeni coffee houses in the area, but I am very loyal to the Vienna location. Personally just prefer the drinks here, and the customer service is also really good. If you're someone who likes boba or coffee after dinner, I'd highly suggest this place as they have everything from regular coffee/espresso drinks to unique kinds of lattes, and my personal favorite, the Adeni Chai latte. Also there's different types of cakes/desserts that go together perfectly with your drink. Highly suggest the basbousa if you are trying something -- it's perfectly light, yummy, but not too sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While it's not super huge, it's still a good size and I often see people in here studying or families gathering to have tea. The ambiance is very welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So overall, I have to rate it as a great cafe. We will obviously be back.

I wanted to love the coffee that was spiced with ginger, cardamom and cinnamon but the flavour was flat. Maybe it needed cream and more sugar....it was meh. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The environment is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Super unimpressed. Went in and was told to order at the kiosk while we were looking in the case. We did so, but I couldn't find the pastries I was interested in on the kiosk menu. I wanted to try the beef or butternut squash pastries. Oh, well - figured I'd try the other savory option, the breakfast egg croissant. The description said it had melty cheese and zaatar seasoning on the crispy croissant. When I tried to add it to my cart, I had to select American cheese AND regular cream cheese for an additional $.50 each. I was super confused as they were part of the description, so it seemed odd to select them and add them as extras. I couldn't add the order unless I did so, though. I asked the girl behind the counter and she admitted that it was a glitch and said she could give me back 50 cents if I wanted. Now I look like a grumpy customer, so I declined her offer and proceeded with my order. See pic. What I received had no flavor (zaatar, where are you???), the cheese was not melty at all. The croissant wasn't crispy in the least...and the eggs? A greenish blue. The whole thing wasn't even warm. Maybe on the edges, like it had been microwaved for 30 secs. Not appetizing, but I already felt like I'd been a difficult customer, so wasn't eager to raise a complaint. BTW, the plain cream cheese was just weird, overkill. Maybe that's how they do it in Yemen, but it doesn't make me feel interested in visiting this establishment again...Yemen. My son had the Nutella croissant and thought it was very good. It was crispy and seemed fresher. My husband had the pistachio tres leches cake and it was good, but he didn't feel like it was anything super special. Seemed like it had been in the case for a while. I don't get the sense that their food is super fresh and very much doubt it's made on site. My husband's coffee with cardamom was delicious. My matcha was just fine. Overall, I wasn't super impressed and will not be eager to be back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating is pretty good, and if you like fake plants they have plenty to look at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd give 2.5 stars if I could, but definitely cannot round up to 3 based on my egg croissant.

    Iced Latte
    Maria Gracias H.

Pros: Coffee: The coffee was solid. I had the iced latte, which was strong and creamy--just how I like it. I found out it's made with a double shot of espresso and milk, which explains the bold flavor. The regular latte was also well-balanced and tasted great. Food: The honeycomb was decent--not amazing, but good enough to try once. I wish it had more cream cheese and was served a bit warmer. The honey cake was a nice surprise--not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Cons: Unfortunately, they don't offer decaf coffee, which is a letdown if you prefer or need decaf like I do. Also, the atmosphere could use some work. The space feels a bit plain and uninviting--some updates to the decor could really help create a more welcoming vibe.

    Sharon H.

I feel like the honeycomb cake and the honey cake don't have a lot of honey to them. However, they are sweet and they are very aesthetically pleasing for Ramadan. They have the hot date latte, Frappuccino, or iced latte. The hot date latte was good and very naturally sweet. The matcha latte is not very good since it was a bit clumpy even though the color was beautiful. The café is very aesthetically pleasing, but I feel like the food and drink is lacking somewhat. Great place to study or do work or catch up with people.

They offer a prix-fixe menu that changes seasonally (?) for brunch and dinner. The ingredients here are high-quality and well prepared and cared for before serving. I've heard great things about Maple Ave from a friends, so I took my family here for dinner this past Wednesday. We really enjoyed the creativity of how the dishes were crafted and plated here and the execution was also phenomenal. This time around, it was 59.00 per person for a 4-course prix-fixe dinner (two appetizers, one entree, and one dessert). Since there were only a couple options per section, we were able to try all the options they had. FIRST: APPLE HAZELNUT SOUP Creamy, pale colored soup with a thicker consistency similar to butternut squash soup. It was lightly sweet, yet savory at the same time. There were some pickled apples and toasted hazelnuts delicately sprinkled on top that added a bit of a crunch. The soup was unique and we enjoyed it. FIRST: ROOTCAKE Between the rootcake and the apple hazelnut soup, the rootcake was my favorite. The vegetables were caramelized and made into a patty, topped generously with almonds with some umami aïoli and pimenton sauce. The rootcake was so good. Each bite was hearty and rich, and it's such a unique way to prepare vegetables. The sauce enhanced each bite and the almonds provided a nutty texture. I would recommend the rootcake as your first option. SECOND: CRISPY SQUASH NUGGETS I didn't think I would enjoy the crispy squash nuggets as much as I did. The roasted squash is breaded with panko crumbs, sitting in some dill yogurt sauce and topped with some raisins and radish. The squash were perfectly seasoned and crispy with a soft interior that left my taste buds wanting more. The dill yogurt sauce was a good complement. I'd definitely recommend this option if you're not a fan of mushrooms and/or you want something more crispy. SECOND: WILD MUSHROOM RISOTTO One of the best mushroom risottos I've ever had. It's rich and creamy, filled with truffle flavor. The shiitake mushrooms had a dry, crispy texture. The manchego shavings on top were a great plus. The squash was used for coloring and probably some flavoring? Not sure. The whole thing was really good and memorable. I'd definitely recommend! THIRD: SHRIMP I'm not a huge fan of shrimp, but my family loved it along with the citrus braised fennel. I was a fan of the creamy semolina, though! Overall, it wasn't for me, but that's more of a personal preference. THIRD: PORK CONFIT STEAK The pork they used was pork belly (?) and seared very nicely, topped with perfectly crispy potatoes, mangoes (?), brown butter sweet potato puree and chimi churri sauce. The pork belly melted in my mouth but as someone who's not the biggest fan of fatty pork, I wish it was a leaner cut. The potatoes were so good and went well with the sweet potato puree. Even though I didn't love the pork confit steak, I'd recommend this entree over the shrimp. FOURTH: MOCK FRIED "APPLE" PIE It was zucchini instead of apple and you can't even tell. I loved the crispy pie exterior which was lightly topped with cinnamon. The vanilla bean ice cream was my favorite as it was creamy and smooth. The dulce de leche and lavender honey were nice touches. Very nice way to end the meal. All the food here were so rich with lots of complex flavors. Each dish was so beautifully plated with many vibrant colors. We were quite full after all the food we ate. I would recommend coming here with another person to try all the options they offer here! The food here is unique and well-executed, and I'd be open to come back to try a different seasonal menu.

We ordered the Poulet Gruyere ($12.10) without the cracked pepper...and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. They cut it it in half, exactly as I requested. This crepe was generously packed with chicken/mushroom/peppers/cheese consisting of intense flavors. While I appreciate the generous amount of filling in the crepe, the ratio of crepe to filling was a little off. The filling probably would have been easier to eat in a wrap form. Nonetheless, it was still very flavorful and I highly recommend it. They have an extensive menu including sweet/savory crepes, all-day breakfast, waffles, various beverages. There is definitely something for everyone. The cafe has plenty of seating (inside & outside), but I would assume it may be a little crowded if/when they get busy. The employees were very friendly and accommodating in that they gave us an extra cup with ice and split and plated the crepe. I thought it was cool they sell the crepe mix separately. There are plenty of outlets for anyone who needs to charge their devices. One thing to note, the cafe is located in a very tight and potentially busy strip mall. Of course I had to partake, so I ordered the special pie, which was a masala, chicken, curry pie, and it was quite good. A bit small for the price point but with the beer included totally worth it also because their fries are so good. I could demolish over a pound of those fries. They were thick potato and maybe the extra added bonus of having to use a glass ketchup bottle added to it. My friend and I were also taught how to properly hit the ketchup bottle to get the ketchup out by the bartender. You find the 57 on the bottle at an angle and bump you palm there that instead of hitting the bottom and hoping and praying that ketchup comes out. It actually worked or at least it was more efficient than trying to hit the bottom of the bottle upside down. I had never had a hand pumped beer before, but it was quite good. The sandwiches are flavorful, the ingredients taste fresh, and nothing feels like it was sitting around waiting to be reheated. Everything is prepared to order, and you can taste the difference.
