Wow! This restaurant has significantly upped their game! Apparently every time I come they've moved or remodeled(this might be a reflection of how often I come here). This time I think they've got the right formula and I will for sure be coming back much sooner. The restaurant is much warmer and more inviting than I remember. Come on you guys... you are sitting in the heart of Alki, summer is here, you know that if there is a glimmer of sunshine that the area will have traffic and it is 75 degrees out.. And you only have 2 servers during lunch? I saw people walk out after sitting and waiting, and I would've been next but the server came and took our order. I saw people waiting longer than us also. We are NYC pizza lovers so tried this place after a,recommendation and sat by bar area with great views of alki beach. Hands down, one of the best bar tenders nationwide who made a killer sangria, and gave us great tips on the area. The pizza, specially the qualitu and types of cheeses used with an excellent crust was excellent and even the greek salad had its owns twists and great taste. I have been enjoying Pegasus Pizza since it first opened on Alki. In fact I remember their original 1st location on Capitol Hill before they opened their second location. I know everyone has their favorite style of pizza; thin crust, thick crust, etc.. But it is the way they put it together, the balance of ingredients, the proper cook time, the 'just right' crust. I particularly like how they toast an additional light layer of cheese over the top when appropriate, golden brown! Wow! And I have never had bad service in all these years. Plus what a location. The Fettuccine Alfredo pasta is the best I've eaten. The cream was so rich and tasty they do not have the vegetarian option on the menu, so you have to ask them for it. The garlic bread was very soft and crisp as well. The pasta comes with a side of salad or soup- there is no vegetarian option for the soup. So, we got the salad. I highly recommend this place- ask for a table outside to get a beautiful view of the Alki beach. Service was great as well. read more

Pegasus Pizza is pretty good pizza at an expensive price. I've never had anything other than Caesar salad and pizza at Pegasus, so I can't comment on the pastas. The crust on the pizza is a thick, airy, and surprisingly light. It has a nice crunch when you bite through it. It's very good. The sausage comes in large chunks and has great spice and there is no shortage of pizza. The ingredients are fresh and the pizza is good. The service and location are great. My only issues are that at $17 for most small pizzas, $20+ for mediums and $25+ for a large, it's somewhat expensive. Good, but expensive. read more

We ordered through Postmates and when we got the pizza, toppings we paid extra for were missing. When we called Pegasus and talked to a manager (Ralaina) she looked at the order and saw that it was their mistake. She said there was nothing they could do for their own mess up. They said to call Postmates. I asked them how it was fair to make Postamates pay for their mess up. You make a mistake, you should own up to it. We ordered the extra's because my mom is getting surgery. The manager made wise cracks about hoping my mom got enough vegetables and even hung up on me. The pizza was lacking in flavor. We will no longer go to Pegasus on Alki for pizza and recommend to all our friends that they don't go to the one on Alki either. Anyone who knows me, knows I am very respectful and even mannered. The pizza is greasy and just plain old gross. Like if Pizza Hut just stopped trying. I mean the location is great but it would be nice if the food was edible. We were there last night (a group of four) and although it was incredibly busy and we hadn't made reservations or call-ahead seating, we were seated well before the twenty-minute estimate that we were given. The atmosphere is really fun, loud, but not so loud that you can't have a conversation, with a couple of TV's in the background and a range of ages eating. The menu includes a lot of Italian options, and my cheese ravioli was really great, and everyone loved their pizzas. Small word of warning, though: They only serve one style of crust, a thicker "traditional" type of crust, so if you only like thin crust, you're out of luck, but what they do have is a really nice, chewy, flavorful crust that even this thin crust-loving eater enjoyed. The meat pizzas are good. The pastas are ok, salads are huge, but again just okay. The drinks and ambience is good. The one star take-away is for the non-pizza dishes and salads. With another Italian place down the street competing, they should really make sure the salads have as much effort in them as the pizzas. I have loved this place for many years (lived in W. Seattle 2003-2007) and the Tom's Special is my favorite pizza. Used to go here regularly because the food is great, but I am never going there again because they have gouged me on my bill twice. This last time, I ordered a small pizza with half ham/pineapple and half sausage/mushroom. They charged me $23 as if I ordered a 4 topping pizza. I've never had any pizza place do that to me. On another note, if I saw everyone in my restaurant wearing coats, and saw people sending back food to be warmed up, I would turn up the heat. Dined in for lunch. Ambiance is okay. Service is good; staff friendly. Ordered an Italian Sausage Pizza, and Rosemary Chicken Ravioli. The pizza tasted maybe just okay, with the bread too spongy and hollow unlike transitional pizza base, overloaded with extra cheese and tomato sauce, sausage too dry and bland flavors. The ravioli was a disaster with chicken undercooked. We sent back the dish that came to us overcooked, may be they just redid the old dish. We cancelled that and sent back for good. For the quality of the food and ambiance, the prices are high and probably not worth it. read more

My husband and I have been looking for a new pizza place in West Seattle to try, and we've walked by this place many a times and finally decided to give it a try. I had the gluten-free #25 and my husband had the #4. We both enjoyed the flavors and the crust. I really liked their cheese blend, and they are generous with their toppings. We will likely be back! Pros: -The have a large menu with various salad, pizza, pasta, and sandwich options. -They have gluten-free pizza crust and pasta. -The offer happy hour deals on food and drinks. -The have indoor and outdoor seating. -Generous with the toppings. Cons: - The chairs are very uncomfortable; there is no padding on the backs and you have to sit completely upright. -The charge 5-10 cents for dinner mints, something that should be free. -Service was a little off with the server coming to take our orders before even introducing himself or asking if we wanted anything besides water to drink. read more

Went in here because we couldn't get in any where else on Alki and it v was freaking cold outside. Salad was pretty terrible, they didn't even try to impress anyone. I have been going to Pegasus for over 20 years. The owners Ted and Sarah are the most generous people I have encountered in Seattle. The food is amazing and you can't beat the view. Pegasus Pizza is one of my husband's favorite pizza spots from his hometown. When visiting Alki beach he had to have his favorite spicy pepperoni pizza. It was my first time visiting this place and really enjoyed our lunch! We split a medium size pizza and a small Greek salad. The salads are huge and the Greek was delicious! Went here tonight with my family. We had a reservation for 9 of us but when we arrived they didn't have a table for us. As we tried to figure out where to go they quickly fixed the situation and moved another group so they were able to get us a table. The manager tried hard to remedy the situation and helped us pick out a great bottle of wine. The pizza and pastas that we ordered were all delicious! I've been here a couple of times and though the pizza was alright, the place itself was less than desirable. The wait staff never seems to be super enthused to serve you. Gee, that makes me feel SO welcome! The roof was pocked with more than one leak stain, not to mention sections that were sagging from previous water damage. Rats! Need I say more? I was there one summer and saw a rat run along the wall and into the back kitchen area. AWESOME! Wait... are those really olives on my pizza? I feel bad knocking this place because they do have tasty HUGE shrimp salads and their pizza is also quite good. But I just don't see how a business can be run to regulations with the these problems!
