Stopped in for lunch today as we were running errands in the area. It was really quiet for noontime without much of a lunch rush. We were greeted with a friendly smile when we first walked in. I really like the large menu video screens when you first walk in. Makes it easy to help decide what you're going to have before you get to the order counter. After placing our order, we took our table in the middle of the restaurant. It was nice, clean and well kept. A young man brought our food to the table and he was nice and friendly also. The food was really good and the portion really filled us up. I had the new Firecracker Chicken. It was cooked crispy, had good flavor and was nice and spicy. I really enjoyed it. No Way! Yes Wei! I've been to a number of Pei Wei restaurants over the years. Each has been good. The service at this particular location was amazing. The woman taking orders was also taking care of the restaurant: bringing food to the tables, clearing tables, taking orders , and refilling napkins. Excellent operation! I've tried many of their dishes from Dan Dan Noodles to Crab Rangoons to Soups and Fried Rice. They make a pretty good variety for a counter service chain restaurant. Ever since they introduced Cauliflower Rice, I've added this into my regular rotation. I love their cauliflower fried rice! It's a healthy option to Chinese cuisine. This locations version was excellent as it was not watery, which can happen. Not here! Close your eyes and pretend it's rice! My go to order is Mongolian Beef with lettuce cups. It's soooooo good with the sauce and scallions and mushrooms. The lettuce with it makes for a good meal. I also add a side of cauliflower rice for $2.50. Awesome and filling! Thanks to the staff here for making this my top Pei Wei experience. Maybe the UCF location wouldn't have closed if it operated like this one. Stopped on in since we haven't visited in years. Service was quick so no issues with that. The servings were pretty decent and we were able to feed a family of four with three dishes. The pad Thai had a flavor slightly different than what I was expecting- maybe a bit more tang than I am used to? The tofu was good though. The Mongolian beef was okay- the noodles were a bit over cooked and chewy/starchy. Needless to say, my son enjoyed it. The drunken noodles had good flavor but the noodles were dry and a tad bit undercooked or something. I couldn't quite pinpoint it but I felt the dish was a little off. We sat in one of the large spacious booths in the middle of the restaurant. Nice and large and fits a ton of people but it was kind of gross. The backs of the booths had dried food splattered all over it. All in all- we were fed and full but not sure if we would return. read more

Haven't been here in a couple years so we went back and gave it a shot. Two people working the front area, the manager and a young lady. We waited about five minutes to be greeted. We thought maybe we had to order in the display screen but eventually the young girl came over. She was super polite and friendly. We ordered lettuce wraps, steamed dumplings and firecracker chicken with noodles. Everything came out Luke warm except for the dumplings which were cold to the touch. They were remade and came out Luke warm. Portion sizes were smaller than I remember. There were only about 2 people dining in and overall I believe the lack of customers was a direct result of the above mentioned experience. We won't be returning to this location. Pei Wei is literally up the street from my job. I started indulging a little more into the menu when I discovered that they are very accommodating towards plant eaters. When walking into Pei Wei, the first thing you notice is the cute set up that they have for the restaurant. It's very easy to see where to go because of the wall guides lol. When you arrive at this location, it seems that they are usually understaffed, 1-2 people taking orders and 1 cook ....a big no no during the lunch hour. It takes about 10 minutes to order, another 10 to get your food and eat fast enough to make it back to work on time. I suggest calling in your order if your going to order for lunch, they are much better at service over the phone than they are in person. I always order the Japanese steak and shrimp Chile noddle bowl and remove the meat. I ask for them to cook it in a teriyaki sauce and give me the Chile sauce on the side. The Chile sauce is amazing!! It's soooooo hot and literally burns your lips, but it's ok....it's hard to stop eating it lol. Pei Wei has a rewards system, but to be honest, it's not the best. It takes forever to get a free meal with the rewards system. It's almost like, spend $100 and get a free $10 meal . All in all, people Wei isn't the best out there, but they will do for now. read more

I've had a couple issues with not getting "extra" meat or items I've ordered, but they have been resolved with ease. Maybe it is due to supply chain issues, but they no longer are offering the one dish I'd come in weekly (if not more frequently) for, the Spicy Tuna Polynesian Bowl! It was so good and was reasonably priced just under $11. I am hoping it's absence from the menu isn't permanent..... I recommend the salad greens as a side in lieu of the rice on the main entrées, there are lots of little crunchy elements in there that help to disperse the (sometimes) over sauced entrées. I stopped in to order takeout for lunch. I got a small orange chicken and 2 chicken salad summer rolls on the side. The food took about 10 minutes, so it was fairly quick. The peanut sauce that came with the rolls was way too sweet and had a weird aftertaste. I've had a lot of peanut sauce and this was one of the worst. The chicken salad within the rolls was watery. I will say the actual rice wrap they used was fresh and chewy as it should be, so they did that right. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone, though. The orange chicken was good, tangy and slightly spicy, and I love the fresh orange they put in the dish. For $5 it's not too shabby, and I would probably get it again if someone else wanted to go to Pei Wei, although I wouldn't visit again on my own accord. read more

Meh... Maybe I'm too spoiled by some of our local restaurants, but I found this place to be stale and boring. I came here because I had a pretty awesome coupon that gave us a BOGO entrée. Upon entering their building, we found that their digital ordering hubs were down. That said, there was a line of people in a crowded space trying to memorize their requested dish from the front board before walking up to order it at their host stand. We ended up trying their Drunken Noodles and their Thai Coconut Curry. Both sounded delicious, but once we received them, they tasted like something you'd heat up from the freezer section at your local grocer... which I'm just not into. The chicken tasted very processed and spongy, and there was no element of freshness with their vegetables or sauce. Even their noodles tasted rubbery and stale. I had another coupon upon leaving, but just can't bring myself back to use it. Maybe if you are ok with the very "fast food" style of Chinese you'd enjoy yourself, but I prefer Chinese food with a bit more flavor and freshness to it. read more
