Pei Wei in Kingwood has always been a family favorite since it opened. However, we stopped going there a few years ago due to the service and food quality going down. I decided to give them a try again tonight with take out. I must admit everything we ordered was excellent! Lettuce wraps, Teriyaki shrimp, and the Bourbon Chicken did not disappoint. Pei Wei was always my fav by my work location. Great food, great ambience, great service. This was in the Champions area. After retiring, I now frequent the Kingwood location. I can only hope that business there will now blossom again with Trader Joe's finally replacing a huge Randall's. Both are great places to eat or shop. read more

I have the Spicy Korean Steak with rice and it was all cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and even offered up some suggestions that we ended up trying and was pleased. Another first for us . A friend of ours swears by this place whenever she's in Texas from Northern California. So we finally after 6yrs have made it here and they didn't disappoint. Food was prepared fresh. My sesame looked and tastes as described. Slightly crunchy and lightly sweet. Rice was cooked to perfection. Customer service was great and helpful us navigate through our fickle minded decisions. Will definitely be return visits. Only minus was there were no sesame seeds on my chicken. read more

As someone with a severe gluten allergy, I thought I wouldn't be able to consume my favorite Chinese dishes since they're mostly full of gluten. My nutritionist said P.F. Chang's and Pei Wei had gluten-free options. My favorite dishes off the GF menu (which has several offerings) are the Kung pao chicken and shrimp, chicken with broccoli, and the Pei Wei original shrimp. I don't know if they have GF soy sauce or coconut aminos (I've only had takeout since my diagnosis), but the food is extremely flavorful, and my husband (who orders GF as well) said he can't tell the difference. I also always get the cauliflower rice, and it adds that right crunch with my food. The hack to the freshest meal possible via takeout is to order your food when you're within 10 minutes of the restaurant. If they're finishing your order when you pull up, you won't be disappointed. read more

The overall appearance of the dining room was nothing less of subpar. Floors dirty, sticky and had trash on them. Many tables had not been cleaned long after their guests left. I've been to this place once. it was great for my first experience so I figured why not order again for dinner. I went to the website put my order in the payment got approved from my bank , but I didn't get a confirmation code and already I thought that was weird, so me and my husband go in and try to talk to the manager at the 702 Kingwood Tx location, and when I tell you she was extremely rude that is an understatement. she didn't even want to bother to look at my payment, she didn't even come out to talk to me or my husband about the confirmation code, she didn't even bother looking into it at all. You can hear her yelling all of this about the confirmation code etc. in the back as she continues to send the employee to tell me all of this, I let the young girl know that it is not her fault (she looked very uncomfortable like she wanted to help me but she didn't know what to do) I explained to her to let the manager know I will be back and addressing a complaint against her. Here I am a whole week later I never got my food nor did I get a refund back. I can't file a dispute with my bank because it shows still pending, I have tried multiple times to call the merchant, and ask them if they can clear this from their end so I can file a dispute with my bank, but it seems like no one wants to help me out with this. $50 bucks down the drain!
