She was very patient with me, albeit it took 10 minutes for me to decide what I wanted to order. I came out with: -Mongolian beef: tender pieces of beef in a delicious sauce with mushrooms and scallions, served piping hot. i paid $2 extra to upgrade to fried rice and it was outstanding -Firecracker shrimp: a new dish. fried pieces of plump shrimp over regular white rice. im not much for fried food so i did not love this one as much but was still tasty -crab wontons- like a crab rangoon. they didn't just have cream cheese, they had the crab pieces as well! It was close to closing and you could tell because they were wrapping up the night and wanted me in and out. I wasn't complaining because I was in a hurry also but it came off a little aggressive with the service. They recently revamped this location to make it smaller as another restaurant is splitting the old Pei Wei space. Food was just right. Nothing spectacular here but solid food options and it checks off the boxes and silences the growl in your stomach. If using the app, remember to al_ways check for coupons. I didn't get my food until 1:55PM..... 1.) when I arrive , I stand by the checkout counter and super calmly say I'm here for pickup. The takeout/cashier is using the bathroom at the moment I arrived and the cook yelled for the girl( she was the only person working) She comes out the bathroom yelling back at the cook to "relax cuz she hasn't used the bathroom all day" and that "the customers can wait..." RIGHT IN OUR FACE!!!! We can hear her yelling at the cooks and saying that she isn't gonna kill herself for this company and saying the most ridiculous UNPROFFeSSIOnAL statements in front of ALL these customers! Then proceeds to slam everyone's orders shut clearly showing she is upset. At this point I'm surprised no one left. This location will never see those 8-10 clients again from this experience. I look at her and tell her I just arrived and I'm not in a hurry so don't worry. This maybe calmed her down but she was so distracted and ended up giving my food to someone else. The cook telling her that he already made it... all happening in our faces... 2.) I get my order and as I'm walking out the door I don't have my drink (apple juice) I go back and ask her if I can just grab my own juice and leave this place! She offers a brownie but I have 4 minutes to get back to work and couldn't even eat my food. 3.)after all of this I STILL get the wrong order packaged and she packed it with 3 knots so I didn't wanna rip open the bag but I should have checked because I paid extra for noodles and still got rice.... And the broccoli....where are the sesames? Now I have to return to the restaurant at 5 pm when I'm done with work to show them they got it wrong and I was charged 20$ for a meal that's usually 12$.... read more

Ok, so yes I know Pei Wei is a chain and not always hitting the home run with food. That is why I think it's important you read this review. The service at this Pei Wei is legit simply excellent! Entire team greets each customer in a jovial way. They accommodated a few alterations with our dinner selections without a blink. Even made a suggestion in order to spice my dish. Really pleasant and positive experience. I spilled my water on the way to our table and the young lady told me at least 3 times that it was not a problem at all. Now to the food...we ate it ALL. My wife ordered Dan Dan noodles with tofu, her traditional. She ate all but about 3 bites. Tofu was done perfectly, great amount of sauce and no spice for her. I had the new menu item Thai Coconut Curry and added spice and cashews. Dynamite! Excellent spice level and the chicken was done perfectly, not tough as I've grown to expect.
