This is my first time at this Mini golf. I read really good reviews regarding this location so I decided to give it a shot. I came with a friend. Prices are good! Place seems to be well maintained. Customer service is good! Was easy to navigate the area. Alot of signs to help guide you. Interesting little slogans and facts about some of the animals around the Mini golf area. Had some pretty cool decor. I would say this place is in a good location. I'd definitely come back. read more

Was in encinitas and came here on impulse. Very fun and cute ocean theme! It's also part of a bigger golf course. Plenty of parking but a bit confusing to get to. The course wasn't anything fancy but the bathrooms were clean. We had a nice time and i won! read more

Pretty cool place, I have nothing else to compare it too since this is my first mini golf experience but my boys loved it. My youngest picked it for his birthday and he had a blast, I was hoping for more I guess but it was 18 holes kind of in a circle but you get to pick 1 of 2 different routes even tho all in all it's pretty much the same. There was a ton of people there on a weekend and we had to wait at every single hole for about 10 minutes each time, I might be back since it was a good price but I think I would like to try a more kid friendly environment instead. There was a lot of drunk adults on dates here so if your ok with your kids being around that then go for it but I don't like my kids around that. The employees were nice and they have a food area, it had a big parking lot and was right next to the fair grounds. read more

What a fun mini golf course! I really appreciated finding this on Yelp so I thought I'd return the favor and share that it's just as great as everyone says it is. It's not particularly complex, but it's fun. They have 2 18-hole courses and you can complete both for $15. The Surfin Safari one was definitely better than the other one but I still enjoyed both. This made for a fun afternoon if you're looking for something low-key to do near San Diego! read more

This is a traditional miniature golf course. It is uncrowded in the mornings (even on major holidays), so this is a good way to start the day with younger kids. Pelly's has two adjacent courses you can choose from, I have played the Ocean one (on the right), which was in good shape and interesting enough (not mind-boggling, so the grandkids were not frustrated). Nothing exceptional, but better than the average of the ones I had visited. Parking is free and ample. read more

This is a great Mini Golf course. This time I have 4 grands with me and they loved every minute. Check in went smoothly. David helped us, answered questions, and guided us to the course. Seemed like a fun course, would have been nice to know that if you show up after 8pm you can't golf. I understand you close at 9pm and I was willing to play full price to golf for 30 minutes and was turned away. I probably wouldn't have driven 30 minutes one way if I had known this company didn't like money Idk who taught the workers how to sell here read more

Went here about a month ago and honestly it was great fun at a great price. You can choose between 18 or 36 holes. Can't remember the price exactly but defiantly affordable. Even though it was a weekend, the lines weren't long and didn't have to wait long at each hole. The crowds were respectful and the vibes were great. Parking was good and they also offer long range driving range i believe. Will definitely come back and is definitely kid friendly!!! read more

Pelly's was so fun! We had a group of eight, ranging from age 11 to age 86, and everyone had a good time. I feel like a lot of mini golf places can be kind of run down, but Pelly's is not. We played on the surfing-themed course. I lost miserably, but I'd definitely go back and try my hand at it again. Side note: There is also a driving range on site, a beer truck area, and a golf mart. I'm not sure if it's all the same business, but there's also a tennis club on the same property. Location is right across from the Del Mar Fairgrounds. read more

I had such a great time with some friends at Pelly's over the weekend! They have two 18-hole courses but we only did one of them. It was a little crowded but the most we had to wait was around 5 minutes for the group in front of us to move forward. It was only $8 per person for one round with military discount, which is totally reasonable. There's also a driving range and some putting greens right next to it. It took us around an hour to finish one of the golf courses. There's a food shack for snacks and beverages too. There aren't enough mini golf courses in the San Diego area since COVID ended so I'm glad there's a good one like Pelly's around. read more

I came to Dr Golds Oral Surgery on Monday this week to get my wisdom teeth removed. They inserted an IV in my arm but the vein wouldn't go through on each side. They ended up inserting the IV behind my index finger. I was weeping and rapidly breathing. They put me to sleep and then I woke up in ten seconds. The next thing I knew was they took me and my brother down to the car. When we went home, I was asked to rinse out with salt water and get rid of all the blood. I watched Wreck It Ralph and ate ice cream on the couch. My Uncle came over on Tuesday and I showed him half of a gameplay of the Sonic Origins Plus and then on Wednesday we went to Pelly's Mini Golf down in Del Mar California with my 15 year old brother. When my Uncle was driving, He had new sunglasses that reverse into normal glasses to try and look like Ninja's brother Chris. We played Pelly's Ocean Adventure. There was no pain in my teeth even though there was very little of it. It was very awesome to see me and my Uncle play together with a 3 year pro skilled 15 year old golf player who was in his Sophomore year of High School. My favorite holes were Shark Park and Hole #4 with the octopus. Pelly's took about an hour to play. A nice family let us pass them so we could not wait for them to finish each hole for so long. I felt really comfortable when we were behind them but all I did was bond with my Uncle and my 15 year old brother. At the end of our Pelly's Ocean Adventure Mini Golf trip, We headed home and my Uncle and my brother watched me play half of a Halo Infinite match with bots. Because I'm more comfortable playing with them and more skilled. After one full game, We played half of the Midway Arcade Origins Xbox 360 game and then we played Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. To end the day, We played Sonic Mania and defeated Dr Egghead on Chemical Plant Act 1. My brother calls it Computer Zone. We are currently on Chemical Plant Act 2. We didn't save it. Now it took us back to Act 1. Chemical Plant Act 1 is easy to get through just like Green Hill Zone Act 1. I was looking at the beautiful graphics of Chemical Plant Zone and it reminded me a lot about the Cars 2 movie setting in Tokyo and Old Las Vegas in the 2008-2012 ish style vibe. My uncle told me there is one Las Vegas style level with Slot Machines and I said now we talking about Casino Park from Sonic Heroes. We defeated Dr Egghead and passed Act 1 and that was crazy. I still had to take my meds for my wisdom teeth and I just took one an hour ago. So, All is good! read more

Consisting of two nautically inspired courses with 18 holes each - Surfin' Safari and Ocean Adventure - Pelly's offers a charming mini golf experience that's almost too cute for words. I'm sure it has been around for a long time, yet is impressively well-maintained and still a lot of fun, particularly for kids but adults as well. Despite the old-school feel, I honestly don't think this place needs any updating whatsoever. Kiddo had a party here pre-COVID, and packages are either $15 per person for 1 round of mini golf, 2 hours reserved patio with balloons for each table, 1 large slice of pizza or hot dog and chips, and unlimited drinks, or $20 pp for all of the above plus 1 extra round, 1 extra hour, and an ice cream treat. Both options allow you to bring your own cake or cupcakes. General pricing is quite low, at $7.50 (ages under 12 or over 60, or military)/$9.50 (everyone else) for the first round. Subsequent rounds are only $3.50/$4.50, but check in on Yelp for a free second round! read more

Great place to mini golf with kiddos! Get a stamp card to earn a free round. Right across the street from the fair grounds. Options for short or long course. Lots of fun structures. Parking lot gets filled up by the driving range next door. There was a stand that sold snacks and drinks, also had tables and decorated area you can reserve for parties. read more

We hosted my daughter's birthday party here and the team was super helpful, and timely with communication to help us set it up. On the day off they were really helpful, everything was set up and ready to go. Our attendant was very sweet and kind to the kids as well. We have never had a bad experience here. The golf is great! There are 2 courses to choose from ... good food and adult beverages too. We like to escape the inland summers and come out to Del Mar for some mini golf. We also just had a 10th birthday party here and it was super easy and affordable as well. tl;dr Pelly's is an amazing mini golf course. Yelp saves the day again - the last time I went mini golfing was at Boomer's in Vista. While it was perfectly fine, the courses were nothing remarkable or memorable. This place, however, is epic. It's in Del Mar near the actual golf course. The sight of luxury cars will greet you in the parking lot. Then you enter and purchase a round in the same area as where the legit golfers are. Great waiting area/club house. The two course themselves was very well maintained and enjoyable. I'll let the pictures serve as elaboration. The holes were not too easy but not too challenging. To top it off, it only costed $9.50 /person. Definitely the spot to check out for mini golf in SD county! read more

This is our second time here and it's a great mini golf place! They have two 18 holes courses and you can do both. It does get busy but it's not a bad wait. We made challenges for each hole to make it harder...on one hole we started with putting backwards between the legs, another all puts on one leg. They also have a hitting range, a place to practice actual putting and a snack shop with shaved ice. We will be back!! read more

Finished both courses in about 90 minutes! Went around 7pm, and there were plenty of players taking swings. There are two 18 hole courses next to each other, sharing the same lot with the driving range. The ball gets collected on the 18th hole. It's $15 per adult, with a $3 discount if military. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. There is a golf store. Parking is also free. read more

A bit bummed the kitchen was out of the Housemade Ice Cream Sandwich, however, as I was hoping to try the rotating seasonal flavor! While the aesthetics of the bowl were somewhat lacking (mostly brown really isn't the most appetizing of colors...), the flavors were there. Ordered at the inside bar, then took my food outdoors. Shoutout to the live music!

The process of knowing when it's your turn relies on you hanging around and waiting to hear your name....which is hard to hear and they often mangle names.It would be so much better if it's some sort of digital notification system and a better way of knowing where you're in the queue. I loved the first drop it was really smooth it was only the last few drops that was really shaky! Honestly I had to hover above my seat so I wouldn't be tossed on my friend lol! We got it and it takes three pictures of you and we decided on an Avengers one. The picture turned out great, but when we printed it out, there was this big white vertical line down the right side. We brought it up to the lady behind the counter and she said she would get the IT guy. We waited about 5 minutes for someone to finally come around and he goes "It always does that" We expected a refund or something, but nothing. For $5 a picture, what a rip off. If it doesn't work "All the time" how about fixing it and putting an "Out of order" sign on it, so you don't waste $5 on a picture you can't use? Terrible customer service.

Horrible service, ok games. I took my kids here recently to play some games and bought a card…read morewhich you can use to play the games. When the card gets low, you can refill it. I used the card on one of the games but the game was not responding. I tried again and still no response. I decide to go to the counter to see if someone could either take a look at the game or if i could get the credits back. I get to the counter and see 3 or 4 workers just standing there talking, no one acknowledges me. I look around some more and see one worker on the far left helping some customers and another worker on the far right helping some other people. Ok, I'm assuming there's two lines and the 3 or 4 other employees are just taking a break or something. Not a big deal, so i get in the line to the far right. There is one person currently being helped, two teens and then me. The employee finishes with the first customer and then helps the two teens. He finishes with them and when he gets to me he just turns and walks away. He does not say a word, just turns and walks away. A simple "I'll be back in a minute" or even just putting your hand up and saying "gimme a sec" would be totally fine. Instead, no communication, just walks away. I told the group of 3 or 4 people just standing there that I needed assistance and one of them went to refill my card. As i was waiting the guy who was serving the line on the far left came over and asked if I needed help. He was really friendly (he looked Asian or Mexican). Anyways, he's the only reason I'm giving that place two stars instead of one.
