The food was fantastic! My breakfast burrito was packed with filling and the chorizo was perfectly spicy. My coffee was great also. In my partner's words, "the breakfast sandwich was super fresh. Not heavy like a normal breakfast sandwich. The pine nut pesto was light and flavorful." He must have liked his chai too because it was slurped down. The food was good, and the service pretty much spot on. the server forgot one of our orders by mistake, and was so generous he reimbursed some of our check back in cash, and then brought us two double shots on the house to make up for the error. Burgers are top notch, and come out relatively quickly. Friendly atmosphere, also staff that went above, and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. About to move away from Seattle and Peloton Cafe was on my list of places to go one last time before leaving. I hadn't been since they expanded into the space next door and WOW it's huge!! It looks great. It was a warm day for seattle so the area right by the kitchen was a little toasty. Go up the steps to the rest of the space and it's a little cooler. I honestly got overwhelmed with all the vegan options so I asked the person behind the counter for a recommendation and ended up ordering the vegan pastrami. I love that it had all the flavors of pastrami without having any faux meat products so it tasted both fresh and decadent at the same time. My partner got the hot mess sandwich and enjoyed it but per her taste may have preferred less barbecue sauce but otherwise was good. I've thoroughly enjoyed Peloton every time I've been in and it's definitely one of the places I'll miss the most in Seattle. read more

A really great find near Seattle Univ. and highly recommended. Parking is tough, but it can be found. This is a small restaurant with perhaps seating for 25 inside, and a bike shop in its midst (yes, just like it sounds). I love this place! I'm hardly ever in this neighborhood but I came by to go to the Nevertold Casket store that is closing at the end of the month right around the corner to see if I could find something I wanted hopefully with a discount. There were several restaurant choices that I had on my "to eat at " list but Peloton won out. Steve and I both wanted something lighter side and the other options to eat at didn't quite seem to fit that bill. Peloton is very popular and lots of people seem to enjoy dining in...there was almost no place for Steve and I to sit at but we managed to find two chairs. As far as eating goes we both had their soup of the day which was a Potato Leek soup. I was hungrier than I thought and got a bowl of it with a side salad. The soup was wonderful and the salad was extremely fresh and tasty. The vingarette dressing that was on it was perfect! Peloton also serves beer but Steve and I were going to visit some breweries up north so we did not order of that here. Peloton also is a bike repair shop... a bit unusual but it adds a lot of charm to the place! There are rates posted for what kind of maintenance or service packages you can get here which didn't seem too bad. In addition to food, beer and bike repair there is a small retail section where they have bike accessories for sale as well. The space isn't all that big but it packs in quite a bit of goods and services in one spot without the feeling that you are getting cramped in. Really a great place! read more

Came in on a Tuesday for brunch. The cafe is also part bicycle repair shop which is pretty cool to watch. Seating is limited and I can see this place really packed on the weekends. I ordered the breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito comes with egg, kale, sweet potato, cilantro, feta and chorizo. I'm normally not a fan of sweet potatoes but they actually work really well in this breakfast burrito! It made it super creamy and I think the flavours of the chorizo masked some of the sweet potato flavours I usually don't like. Overall the burrito was solid and came with a side of pickled radishes and onions topped with cilantro. The side pickles were fresh because of the cilantro. They serve slate coffee as well as other local coffee roasters. The menu is super simple but executed well. There are a few 1 hour spots right out front but also 2 hour? spots right around the corner. read more
