In Seattle there are not many breakfast spots or atleast a place you can get a go-to sandwich in the morning, but this place changes that when it's open Would recommend stoping in with your pupper friend and grab a coffee or a bite. They have DELICIOUS single source pour over coffee here too. I just had one from Guatemala that was chocolatey and as smooth as can be. I also tried the avocado toast which is jazzed up with arugula and a fried egg. Yum! I have retired from using my bicycle every day so have not personally used the roll up bicycle tune up and repair but the guys working there seem really friendly and approachable. The place is pretty tiny but is never packed to the gills and the vibe is pretty inviting. Can't believe it's taken me so long to try this place! I went for brunch during a weekday and absolutely loved it! I had a vegan breakfast sandwich (tofu bacon was so good!!) and friend had vegetarian burrito bowl. Both were incredible! It's so nice that they have a full menu for vegans as well as vegetarians--makes it much easier to go out for a meal when these options exist naturally without having to ask for menu adaptations. The menus were also pretty extensive with a large variety of delicious looking options. The inside was really cute and spread out enough that it felt okay to eat inside (was cold out). Our first visit to Peloton was fantastic. We were a group of four and arrived at opening on a Saturday. Definitely a good plan as people were filing in pretty regularly. It's a cozy little joint, great decor and I love that it's half bike shop. Two of us ordered breakfast burritos, one with chorizo, the other with field roast- both hefty and delicious. Enough for lunch if you have a smaller appetite. Avocado toast looked amazing and was devoured. My breakfast sandwich blew my expectations out of the water. The ciabatta bun was soft and had a great crust, arugula was fresh, egg was soft-cooked perfectly. I can't wait to have it again. The coffee was also solid. My husband's cold brew was the best I'd tasted in years. Our German guests were very impressed and found it charming. The Peloton folks were nice: business-like and competent. I highly recommend this place and look forward to getting back. read more

nice place to take a break during my dreary lunch walk outside. i got a pour over coffee $4. i think i'll get a cheaper option next time as it was just alright tasting to me. i found the smell of bicycle parts etc a bit strange and unappetizing mixed in when drinking my coffee and probably would be even more so if i were eating there. bathroom is clean and walking by the kitchen smelled quite delicious, i would like to try the brekky burrito everyone on here raves about. i hear the chef is matt dillon. service was friendly, he was a chipper guy kinda just doin his own thing. i appreciate when custy service isn't some self-conscious person trying to act cool like just relax. it's a bit dim inside for a relaxed, casual ambience. there were a like 3 ppl eating then 2 ppl came in for bike inquiries later on. i was in there during about 10:30am. one thing i really didn't like was the music, it was also too loud and upbeat. whatevs read more

Truly five stars. The menu has something for everyone and is especially fantastic for vegan and vegetarian options. Not the usual one or two options. Our group got: 1 veggie breakfast burrito, rated a five, good size portion for a great price and tasted great; 2 veggie breakfast scramble bowls, just right size portions, again good price, and unlike lots of scrambles, was not just average; and last the vegan BLAT (tofu bacon, spring greens lettuce piled high, avocado, and tomato). The tofu bacon was awesome. It was hearty and had a good texture for a sandwich, and had a sweet/ smokey flavor that was flavorful (not bland). They did not skimp in the greens or avocado, and the tomato was *actually* seasoned, unlike most blt's that just slap a tomato slice in the sandwich, this one notably had salt and pepper, which really does improve the dish from good to excellent. For the flavor, freshness of the food, the portions, and the price - this place is a strong 5 for breakfast/ brunch. I will say if you go, they are very busy/ popular, so you should plan to go on a leisurely time expectation. Food was worth the wait. read more

As far as bike shops go, this is an excellent place for a tune or repair. They aren't pretentious and won't make comments if you come in with an easy fix like a flat tire or a not well maintained bike. They have a smaller selection of parts, tools, and accessories to buy, but have the basics covered. There is also a bike pump on the sidewalk for anyone to use. For the cafe, the food here is delicious! It's a fresh array of local purveyors, including coffee, food, and beer/cider. I've had their veggie sandwich and breakfast burrito and would order both items again. If I want to treat myself to a fresh breakfast, this is where I'll go. It's a small, cozy place, and one I totally recommend. They also allow dogs and had treats for my pups. :) read more

I needed a quick tire swap-out and front hub overhaul before a trip, so I dropped off the bike, and they managed a *same-day fix.* WHO can do that in the summer in Seattle?
