The staff acknowledged that the Udi's was "quite an upcharge", which is an understatement. A 5-pack of Udi's gf bagels in Shaws (a Maine supermarket) is about $7.50. For $12, I could have bought a pack of Udi's, a stick of butter, and at least one fresh bakery bagel from a grocery store or local baker... and not been asked to tip the counter staff 20%

So when I was in Bar Harbor, I had gone to a few places every morning and none of them were as great as this place. It's super close to downtown and all the tourist shops.
