Food quality is really good, it is a little pricey but what isn't nowadays. Their small fries are like $3.50 and it's a SMALL fry Luckily the Philly cheese steak is plenty filling and with just a little vinegar I really like it. I. Don't mind paying a bit more for good food most places today are expensive and pre cooked, not here! I gave it a 5 because if you want a little more say fries just order up a size once you wrap your mind about the cost it is not much more to upgrade. My husband and I have been here twice now. Each time we have had THE best service. Everyone is so so nice. Thanking us, telling us to have a great day. The entire place is so clean. I live in walking distance from here so when the winter storm first hit a couple weeks ago I was stuck! I needed food! I walked in and same people as last time! I felt like it was family friendly! As you know... I'm a foodie. Not so much into "fast food". Here's one of my exceptions... penn station. Also not big into meat... HOWEVER- give me a steak sub any day. Banana peppers, onions, mushrooms, and that secret spice blend. Oh- and the French fries are as good as any "fancy" restaurants. Holy subness how have I never been here! Fair style fries, fresh lemonade AND car service! With little kids I look for ways to still enjoy my life as a foodie with the least amount of impact on others or my sanity so ordering and noshing in the car when they can watch a movie total win. This sub experience was fabulous! The Philly with mushrooms, onions and peppers (no sauces) was delightful. The fresh cut fries dear lord toss vinegar on em and strap that bag to my hands because they are delicious in an I don't want to share way. The hubbs got the chicken teriyaki and it was yummo as well! I thought about the chicken parm but when you can get a Philly you do! I will def look next time for a spicy offering of some sort as that with their fries has to be the bomb. The staff was super and so fast! Wow. Worst service. Waited for food for 15 minutes after everyone else got their food. When up to ask on the delay and got attitude and said it will be ready soon. Sat back to wait and can clearly hear a worker scream. What's the time on that. Another employee question him and said which ticket. I got the Grilled Italian. It was okay. All the ingredients were fresh. The largest complaint among everyone that went... the excessive use of Mayo. It was litterally dripping off the sandwiches. I came here a few times when I worked in Eastlake. I spotted the greatest femullet in the history of femullets here. It was also a ginger; a truly rare find. It is clean and Penn Station fries are amazing. They serve Dr.Pepper AND great lemonade. What isn't to love? read more

I really wanted to give this place a better review. I've been about half a dozen times since moving to the area. The first time or two was pretty good. However, the last few times have been a nightmare. The food quality itself is delicious but the service keeps hurting the overall product. I've tried ordering ahead each time to give them ample notice - however, each time I go when they recommend to pick up (15ish minutes) and the food is nowhere near ready. I wait an extra average of 15-20 minutes for my order to be ready. One time the fries weren't ready, the last time they completely missed one of the sandwiches I ordered. This, in turn, drastically affects the food itself as the fries get soggy, the sandwiches get soggy and old, etc. Each time one of the employees has been nice and apologized for the wait but this has now happened 3 times in a row. A few co workers and I had strolled into this fine establishment for lunch. I already heard via word of mouth how great the Philly's were.. so my expectations were kinda set pretty high and I was definitely not disappointed! I ordered a Philly with fries, fresh squeezed lemonade, and a chocolate chip cookie aka "heaven on earth". The Philly was loaded w/ grilled steak peppers mushrooms and some incredibly tasty grilled onions..ok Back to the cookie...this may possibly have been one of the best I've ever had if not the top 3 I'd say. It's this astoundingly delicious big, fat, baked to perfection filled cookie with these watering milk chocolate chunks. If you are allergic to chocolate then I understand however, for the rest of the yelp population who goes to Penn Station and does NOT at least try this cookie once is nuts! read more

Very good food, inexpensive but taste damn good. My girlfriend introduced me to Penn Station and I have been hooked since. The manager is usually there cooking and greets you quickly when you walk through the door, food is made fast and hot. You can choose different sub lengths so I don't know how previous reviews could say they left hungry. I usually get a 6" and share a small fry and my girlfriend and I leave full. They always thank you on the way out the door as well. Good food, good service, quick, inexpensive, and clean. I really have no idea how you could complain about anything. read more

I love PennStation! Of course, I have only tried the Artichoke with mushrooms and cheese. I never get sick of it. I go every week and the only thing that varies is the size I order. Stopped by for a sub but wound up getting the Italian sausage which was really good. The bread they use is phenomenal! I ordered it without pizza sauce but after eating it I wish I had gotten a side of sauce. Regardless it was still very flavorful as is. They make fresh cut fries which were also good. I like Penn Station and their food but a quick lunch stop (11:20 on a Friday) before a 3 hour drive turned into a 45 minute visit waiting for a sandwich that they gave away to another customer. It's particularly frustrating to see person after person behind you in line get your food while you wait. None of the workers even knew that it was given away; there appears to be a communication problem between where your order is taken and where you pay perhaps. I did get a coupon for a free sub, so I bumped my review from 2 to 3 stars. read more

I find it very Annoying that when you go to get a sub and you get a sub the size of a hotdog. Like seriously I came here for dinner and I couldn't even count that as a snack and look I'm not a fat persons who eats a ton but I would like something to at least fill me up. Second off I ordered their " famous lemonade" and do you know what I got lemon water. Like are you kidding me do you know what sugar is and isn't it supposed to be homemade cause what ever is going on in that home needs to do something called taste test. Three off it took them like 30 minutes to make 2 eight inch subs and 1 twelve inch subs. Like last time I checked it was called fast food. Finally you need to know how to place the cheese on a sub because if I wanted cheese on the side of my sub I would have ordered that.
