This is what makes a car rental place stand out - their staff and the excellent service they provide. Needed a rental car for our LA/Disneyland trip. I booked through booking.com and got a good deal for 3 days. Upon arrival to SNA airport, Instructions were to call Green Motion (part of U Save) for shuttle pickup. Pickup area is at arrivals near banner 6. Dorothy picked us up and was very sweet! She gave recommendations and was very helpful on the 3 min ride across the street to Atrium hotel where Green Motion/U Save was located. She said the best gas station to fill up was at the nearby ARCO so it wasn't as expensive as the one next to the hotel. Checking in with Amir was very smooth and he gave us 10% off McDonald's coupons at the one near Disneyland. No issues with the Dodge Caravan. Checking out was also very smooth and they let us leave our luggage in the front desk area while we ate lunch around the area. When we got dropped off, I accidentally left my phone in the shuttle and after calling Green Motion back, Amir actually came back to give it to me! Wow I was SO grateful to him for that. He's also super nice and helpful. Thank you Green Motion/U Save (& Amir and Dorothy) for making our can rental experience convenient and easy!

    Never have I rented a truck where I had so many complicated and frustrating circumstances occur. I…read moregot there to pickup the truck 10 minutes early. They end up dropping the truck off for me and hour and a half late! On top of that there is no lift as I had requested. Therefore it's the wrong truck. I go tell the gentleman helping at the front desk (who happens to be very nice and doing his best to help us) He says he's going to call and try to figure out what is going on. He is informed another truck is getting dropped off (now two hours late and a big waste of time on moving day) I signed for the amount due on my bill and left with the truck. The next day the truck was returned on time and gas full and everything in place. I look at my credit card statement a week later and see that I am charged almost $700 when I only had it for one night and only drove it a few miles. I called Penske and told them about the charges and the guy on the phone says they somehow overcharged me by mistake for $400 more than I owed. How does that even happen?!! Long story short, I got refunded and appreciated the professionalism in his demeanor over the phone. Sadly, I won't be renting from Penske anymore as this was a horrible and traumatic experience doing business with them.

Totally inappropriate especially in this day and age of identity theft and fraud. The owner told me it's Uhaul policy but I can UPGRADE for a larger fee to a bigger truck and they won't have to call a friend or family! So if I spend more money, THEN there's no need for a phone call. So it really is all about the money. He was trying to tell me the vans are more stolen. Like how ignorant and moronic is that. If ANYONE was planning to steal one of these vehicles wouldn't they just have a buddy say "hey I'm gong to steal a Uhaul van I'm gonna give them your number and fake name. When they call you verify me and say I'm a standup guy!" Lol. Like wtf. Seriously. That's your security theft prevention! ROFL. You don't have to be an electrical engineer to figure that one out. I had this big truck for one small sofa I had to move lol. I had no problems with the truck. It ran nice and smooth. The gas was off when I got in. The contract said it was half a tank when it was only 3/8. Make sure to check your gauges and mileage as it seems they be pulling fast ones at this Uhaul location. I know inflation is real and things are more expensive but come on let's be honest in our dealings and start exercising more honest business practices and stop asking your customers to provide the personal information of their friends and family.

All of these fine gentlemen assisted us in the best way possible. They provided ELITE service and frankly all deserve raises for their customer care and knowledge.

    I needed to rent a truck last minute to haul some trees that I purchased at the nearby Armstrong…read morenursery. I didn't make a request online and showed up in person to ask about the availability and which trucks could be dropped off at another location. Anona was the one who helped me and she was awesome! She knew all of her inventory off the bat and was quick and efficient. I love efficient people who know what they are doing! The service I got from Anona was 5 out of 5! I was bummed that our only option was a pickup truck that we had to return to this same location. I was hoping for a truck that we could return closer to where we lived, but they were out of stock and for that, I marked down one star. I'm always scared that there are hidden fees with these places. Luckily, entire rental process and return was simple and straightforward. Anona did advise us that they close at 7pm and if we returned it after that time, there are ways for an extension so it doesn't incur an additional fee or else we would be charged $20 for the convenience fee. I felt everything was explained to me and they were upfront about everything so I can't say that everyone's experience here is the same as me. I returned the vehicle same day before closing and paid the price I expected to given the mileage that we knew from the start. If you just need a rental for a day and follow the guidelines, I think this is the place to go. It's not terribly expensive and there are not "hidden" fees.

You have 30 minutes. Go." Then later being told: "Well, you sat down." SIR/Lady ... whatever you identify as... --I,sat down because I was trying to read the paperwork YOU just handed me along with the 3 emails lmfao I also have documented back issues that require me to sit periodically. Standing for extended periods while simultaneously trying to review notices, take notes, advocate for myself, coordinate transportation, locate business supplies, and pack a 10x20 storage unit is not exactly a reasonable expectation. What exactly was I supposed to do? Read legal notices. Process multiple emails. Take notes. Pack an entire storage unit. Locate business inventory. Coordinate transportation. Advocate for myself. Manage a disability. And somehow clone myself? And now cancel meetings! All within 30 minutes? At some point I wasn't "sitting down." I was trying to understand the instructions being given to me while being rushed through them. Apparently reading the paperwork was the wrong answer. Maybe next time I'll bring three assistants, a forklift, an attorney, and a time machine. Management appears far more concerned with enforcing rules than providing the service customers are actually paying for. Communication was poor. Compassion was absent. Professionalism was lacking. I'm sure the company's founder never envisioned customers being treated this way. The signage is misleading, the customer experience is frustrating, and the value provided does not match the price being charged. Consumers deserve transparency, professionalism, and reasonable access to the property they pay for every month. Take your money elsewhere. Modern-day robbery disguised as customer service. NO,stars. Tested my Gandhi and raised my cortisol levels and mental health along with trauma from the loud banding on the door given my severe Mental Health notice and disability.
