My complaint is against the U-Haul Ferragut store manager in Knoxville, Tennessee…read more On December 7, 2024, I arrived at about 9:40 am at the Farragut U-haul store to pick up a 10-foot truck that I reserved for 10 am. The U-haul employee at the front was trying to give me the available U-haul truck. Then the store manager intervened and refused to give me the available 10-foot truck saying that my truck was broken in the morning on the same day and the available truck would be given to the next customer at noon. First, the manager failed to work on the commonsense rule-of-thumb business ethics: first-come, first-get. More importantly, she conducted a favoritism on the next customer (noon reservation) over me for whatever reason may be - not excluding the possibility based on race, color, or national origin. I was tossed then to the Alcoa store 15 miles farther away to get a 10-foot truck at last. This significantly delayed my moving schedule, not to mention the unnecessary cost for the mileage for the additional 30 miles round trip plus gas cost. This frustrating experience made me brood over my ruined feeling all day. I strongly feel that I was unfairly treated by the manager who should be fired from U-Haul if this event is turned out to be grounded on her subtle aggression or discrimination on me. I will be happy to receive a U-haul's follow up response to my complaint against the manager of the U-Haul in Farragut.

This time we had them load out of our longterm storage in Knoxville and into our newly completed home in Bean Station, TN. It was a long day with two trucks and four guys required for the move. Approximately 8-1/2 hours following the truck arrivals at Central Karns Storage, they pulled out of our driveway empty and exhausted. Dalton, Terrell, Liston and Gage did an excellent and careful job of loading and unloading everything for our 3 bedroom house. They took direction for placement of the stuff with a smile and were very courteous throughout the day. Thank you! And, if we should ever find ourselves in need again, Big Orange Moving would definitely get the call. We will not hesitate to recommend Big Orange Moving to our friends.

Our guys- Reese, AJ and David were awesome the entire time. We can't say enough about how great they were. When I first put in the request for the job, Ken responded quickly, but so did the other companies. Big Orange had great rates and explained that if we hired a 3rd mover it would reduce our costs in the long run. Ken was very respectful and I appreciate him explaining the cost savings. My husband and I highly recommend this company. We will be hiring them again once our house is built and we move these same belongings to our new home.

They were able to handle diagnostic that our other shop messed up on…read more Fixed it for us quickly! I was only without my car for one day . Customer service in the shop was wonderful. And communication was excellent. They sent a video from the mechanic explaining and showing what needed to be fixed before we agreed to have it be fixed. Very thorough and transparent.. highly recommended

Where to start, holy smokes!…read more Inquired about a late model BMW X5, photos showed Bridgestone Alenza Runflat tires, vehicle description named "runflats" on multiple areas, even the Dealer description. We were sent a quick video taken by Jason Rosinni, quickly skimming past the tires. I got so excited about the X5 that I sent them a deposit and booked a flight to Knoxville. After my son, who is a tire expert, saw the video, he told me that they replaced the Bridgestone Alenza Runflats with Ironman Imove tires which are the cheapest tires on the market. After asking Mr. Rosinni about the switch in tires, he told me that the Bridgestone's were bald and they had to be changed. Ok, but why send me photos of Bridgestones valued at over $400 a tire installed, when they were replaced with a $143 tire? Also, the vehicle was originally sold with runflats and needs to continue to have runflats or provide a spare tire which Grayson did not. This is NOT the image BMW is striving for, and it makes me sick thinking about my experience with Mr. Rosinni. I had the most amazing experience buying my first brand new BMW in 2006, I just thought all BMW dealership were reputable, unfortunately, that can't be any more untrue. I got my $1,000 back from Grayson but had to eat my $500 airfare. NEVER AGAIN.

My wife and I bought a new Ford Explorer from Ted Russell Ford - Parkside Drive a couple of months…read moreago. We traded in my wife's Subaru, and also traded in my Jeep which still had a lien on it. After the agreed upon price we got the payoff amount on my Jeep, which the dealership was to pay within 10 days. The payment was not made by the dealer within the 14 day window my credit union had given us, so I had to make the next loan payment. I contacted our salesman at Ted Russell and he apologized and said he would straighten it out. After another period (I think about 10-14 days) they finally submitted the Jeep's payoff to my credit union. Meanwhile, per diem had continued to accrue during the delay in paying off the Jeep so I asked our salesman to have the finance guy reimburse me that amount which I wouldn't have had to pay if they had paid off the Jeep within the initial 10 days like they promised. It has now been over two months, and after many emails, texts, phone calls and even a visit to the dealership they *STILL* have not reimbursed me the money they owe me. By my estimate it is only about $30 or so, but the point is they failed in their obligation to me. I had planned on buying my next truck from Ted Russell Ford, but this experience has really soured me on their dealership so we will find a different dealership outside the Ted Russell family for our next purchase.

BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT RECOMMEND…read more I recently purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. Purchasing process was fine but the issues arise from their lack of transparency, communication, and willingly masking problems on a vehicle to "hot potato" expensive repairs onto the customer. During the test drive of the vehicle, it was established that there was significant road noise and vehicle vibration. The salesman claimed it was likely just a "flat spot" on the tire from sitting on the lot. Once we sat down I insisted that was more than a flat spot and I wanted a further diagnostic and complete rectification of that issue. The salesman said they would do a thorough multi-point inspection and road force balance of the tires to "make right for you bud". The next day I picked up the vehicle after its supposed repairs, and the issue is still present, with the addition of a front grill trim piece having become completely broken from its retaining clips on the bottom of the bumper and hanging loose. The service department appear to have used double sided adhesive strip to keep the trim piece in place, which started peeling off as I drove. I asked the service manager what happened here and got told "it wasn't us!". Fed up with this loud, sitting on top of a washing machine experience from what is a luxury vehicle, I took it to my local lexus dealership for a further diagnostic (with video) and repair estimate. They showed the rear wheel was physically BENT, and the damage to the front grill where someone had slammed it hard enough into something hard to break the retaining clips. I brought all this to the attention of the sales managers and general managers at Ted Russell Ford Parkside numerous times. Of the 27 calls and 9 voicemails I made to the dealership over the course of two weeks, I was able to reach a sales manager 2 times and received ZERO calls back after being reassured I would hear from them ASAP. They knowingly sold a car with a BENT wheel and front end grill damage, obfuscated the wheel damage by claiming it was a "flat spot" and then later saying it would just need an alignment, all while claiming it went through 2 multi point inspections (once when they received the car, once when I spoke up) and either MISSED an obviously BENT wheel, or simply didn't care. They also obfuscated a broken grill piece by essentially apply the old duct tape solution to hide the real damage, and when ALL of these problems were brought to senior leadership to rectify, they ignored all calls/voicemails. My father bought a truck here, my aunt bought a bronco here, and my mom wanted to get a vehicle here, but after this HORRIBLE customer service experience, I would never recommend ANYONE to buy any vehicle here or use their service department.
