Stay away!! They have a slick website and customer service people but the work done was horrible. We hired people movers to unload two pods into our home. They showed up two hours late. Their website says they will do a walk through to determine where to place items, they did not do that. They did not use anything to protect our home or furniture when moving and so damaged our hardwood stairs moving a heavy item. They offered $50 compensation. They also also shredded a fabric couch when moving it due to lack of any protection. Their website says they will shuffle furniture when done, there was an hour left of their three hour minimum but the work crew just shrugged their shoulders and left us to move everything to final locations. read more

I have moved using different kinds of movers (everything from full service to Craigslist) every year for last 7 years. On that baseline they did an average job at average speed. We moved from a storage to home. They sent couple of guys who didn't have all the right moving equipment with them. They came up with creative solutions and finished the work, so that was good but better equipment would have been better. They kept on complaining about how the last movers did a bad job of moving to the storage. But the last guys moved things without damage and quickly so not sure how they were worst. They didn't have shoe covers and protection for the hardwood when they moved things. No damage was done but I like to see protection. In the end the job was properly done with reasonable amount of time. I don't think I'll use their services again in future. read more

Responsive and honest. They pick up the phone promptly, and give you an upfront estimate. The movers showed up within 30 minutes of the appointment and worked quickly. They made some holes on my townhome walls moving a big piece. Even though I saw it on my own, the mover pointed it out to me and we worked quickly to an agreeable solution. I got three of the most dedicated, hard working, polite professionals to help. They were on time. They assessed the job and moved very quickly, finishing the job well before the estimated time. I asked for them to move some things that were not on the schedule am happy to tell you that the team was cooperative and willing. I had a question after the team was finished and gone. People Movers does a pretty good job of keeping their Yelp reviews page rather clean, which was the main reason why I hired the company. My experience with them was...surprising, to say the least. PM's gave me a moving estimate of $350-$400. To be safe, I made sure to have $600 on-hand, for any overage + tip. I was surprised when the movers asked for $800 at the end of the job. Especially when it was a job that required my wife and I moving out of a one bedroom apartment. I voiced my displeasure with a customer service representative, and they mentioned that a $200 refund check would be in the mail. That was two months ago, and the refund has never come. With all of the moving companies in the area, you'd be better off avoiding this one. read more

Damaging our hardwood floor，two legs of our desk missing，some furniture broken，when one guy assembled our bed the other movers just wait and see，talking and laughing with other language we dont know，doing nothing，they move really slower than the other moving company we used before. He apologized for the situation, thanked me for the honest feedback and offered a partial refund as a show of good faith. I have worked in various sectors of the customer service industry for years and most of the time, most business fall short of providing genuinely good customer service, especially once the transaction/service has been rendered. I was very pleasantly surprised by Sergey's desire to do right by the customer and his follow through. While it doesn't change the experience of that day, his offer and explanation of both the situation and the employee's underperformance that day makes me understand that this appears to be an uncommon experience. We all have bad days and it's unfortunate that that particular employee had a bad day on the job. I really appreciate that Sergey didn't offer any excuses or try to be defensive about the situation. His outreach came across as addressing an issue in an honest and genuine way and trying to make the best of the a situation. At 10:30 they called to say they had traveled to the wrong house, in Lynwood (we are in downtown Seattle). When they left, their truck hit a wall and a parched car, then sped off. Their team is polite and hardworking. we had some big complicated furniture to move and they did it without complaint and effectively. 3. There was an accident and a chandelier glass was broken. First of all the guys who helped move were very nice, and they moved all of our stuff without damage or any real delays. However, I am giving a 2-star because I asked them repeatedly to wear masks (COVID concern) because my partner is pregnant and they did for a minute but then removed them.
