The clothes I got dry cleaned.

Clean, polite, and organized. For the cost, they provide a good service. My dry cleaner of choice.

Pin embedded in hem

Slow, sloppy, and expensive. Took 2 pairs of pants for waist and hem alterations. They took a day longer than promised to finish. Pants 1: very sloppy stitching at waist, waist was not brought in enough, raw edges not fully serged. Pants 2: no waist alteration was done, and I had to try on the pants to show them they were still too big, even though it was obvious from a glance they hadn't been touched. But the crowning glory was A STRAIGHT PIN STITCHED INTO THE HEM. Pants are completely unusable as delivered. I got a refund for the waist that was obviously untouched, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere. You'd be better off buying a sewing machine and doing it yourself.

Sloppy

I took my Coast Guard Bravo uniform and honestly I was kind of scared because I'm really careful with my military uniform. This was my first time taking my uniform to a civilian. Just look at the pictures and you rate the quality of work is sloppy and honestly unacceptable. I would have understood if the placement was wrong because it might have been their first time doing a Coast Guard Uniform but the quality of the work it's awful. One last thing, it wasn't cheap either.

Small shop but Convenient location. They did a fine job cleaning a coat for me and it was ready on time.

Hemmed my daughter's prom dress and sewed some missing buttons on one of my vintage shirts. Great price for good work.

The customer service is superb! I love the ladies who work here. Hours and location are convenient. However they only accept cash or checks.

Bellevue Laundromat

I stopped by Bellevue Laundromat on a Thursday evening around 6 PM to tackle some bulk laundry, and…read moreit was surprisingly not too busy. I needed three washers, and between washing and drying, expect to spend around $10-$20 in quarters. The whole process took me about an hour, which wasn't bad at all. Service-wise, there wasn't an attendant on-site, but they do have a number posted on the door if you run into any issues. Just note that only one of the two coin machines was working, so it's smart to have a plan B or bring extra change with you. The ambiance was decent--well-lit and fairly calm--but the trash bins were overflowing and could use more frequent attention. There's also very limited seating, so you might want to wait in your car or take a short walk while your laundry runs. Lastly, there were only two laundry carts available, so if you don't bring your own, you might have to wait your turn. Overall, it's a functional, gets the job done, but it could use a little more upkeep and on-site support.

This is a great little place to wash things that are too big for the home washing machine (the…read moreoversized machines here are great for comforters and such, and reasonably priced), so why the three-star review even though I've gone here for years? This place has a new attendant and he's a little scary. If he can be believed, the owner died and left him the laundromat (not sure he can be believed, but he certainly is ubiquitous at this location), even though he claims he is already independently wealthy (he is, after all, the real Bruce Willis -- the one in the tabloids is just his stand-in). I think the attendant lives there, since he maintains a chest filled with cheese, which he drops everywhere. The incessant chatter was just annoying, and I did my best not to engage. It only became scary when he pointed out the car that "they" gave him out of appreciation for his contributions to Richmond Heights (which his father founded, according to him). It was my car. At that point, I felt it was time to make a quick getaway before he noticed me driving off in his prize, so I had to schlepp everything in one trip and make a beeline. Fortunately I only pack away the winter linens once a year. Maybe by the time I need to go again, he'll have gone back to Hollywood.
