After just arriving in Santee a few days ago to housesit, I went online to find a good place to have a sandwich. Well, let me tell you, I found, what I believe to be, the 'perfect place!' Pepper Farm Deli! I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and was definitely not disappointed! As a self-proclaimed 'connoisseur' of cheese steaks sandwiches, I must say, the one at Pepper Farm Deli is as good as, or better, than any I've ever had, and I've been to, and eaten cheese steak sandwiches, in PHILADELPHIA! (Geno's, Pat's, and Jim's) But wait, it gets better. Owner Francis, and manager Chrystal (along with the rest of the crew), are awesome! Very friendly and super cool! I can't say enough about this place. It's truly a Santee gem. It's hard to find local good/healthy options, especially restaurants that use organic ingredients- Pepper Farm Deli does it all. Our favorites are their Chicken Parm sandwich, Meatball sandwich, Chicken Caesar Wrap, all salads, and Big Italian Goomba. It's a small place and it gets crowded quick but they pump out orders very fast. It's worth the wait! Our family likes to frequent Pepper Farm Deli often, we've even DoorDash a bunch of times! Their options are endless. Recently, my husband and I had lunch and it was very crowded. Somebody seemed to have grabbed my order and left. Amazing sandwich specialty spot located in Santee shopping center so parking is easy peasy! Customer service is good. Food is amazing and fresh as well as good prices for the quality and quantity! We met up with a friend here for brunch this morning and we were all impressed. This is such a cute place, and everyone is so nice and welcoming here. My friend got the Filet Mignon Club, hubby got the Breakfast Burger, I got the Simple Dimple Salad with Salmon, and we all shared a Hawaiian flatbread with my kiddo. Up and coming sandwich deli where the high reviews are justified. Stopped by after spending the morning in the local mountains. We picked up a few sandwiches and a burger. We ordered online via their website and it was pretty much ready when we arived. Their cheesesteak was full of quality steak. Their burger which looked more like an artisan burger was a pleasant surprise. Service: The service is here is always great. The employees are always so kind and more than willing to help you decide on food items. Food: I have not tried anything I've disliked here yet. I've had many sandwiches and brought friends here as well, everyone that comes here is always surprised at how good the food is. I switched it up with sourdough bread instead of white bread. No mustard from me please. I was intrigued by the peppercorn aioli. It was tangy, salty and peppery. I loved the creamy taste. I loved that they placed arugula in this sandwich because that give it an even more peppery and nutty taste. Much better than using average lettuce. The bread tasted soft and fresh. I was worried that maybe the filet mignon sandwich wasn't going to be too flavorful because it sounded very simple but I loved it. It came on ciabatta, had havarti, aioli, arugula, and of course the filet mignon. Definitely recommend. The pepper farm turkey club had roast beef, turkey, bacon, a ton of arugula, cheddar, and aoili. I think what would have made it even better would be toasting the bread. The menu is massive and can be overwhelming. Take a look before arriving else you might be perusing for awhile. 4 stars cause it was kind of pricey. 2 sandwiches and 2 fountain drinks put us nearly at $35 for lunch which is kinda steep. The food is phenomenal. I got the avocado goddess salad and it was easily big enough to feed two people. It was so fresh and flavorful and I got a little bit of everything in literally every bite. We also got a club sandwich that was amazing and realistically also large enough for two people. The employees were clearly working their hardest and cared about customer service. They checked on us a couple times to make sure everything was okay and we didn't need anything.
