I cannot brag about this place enough! They have the best sandwiches I have ever had!! I drive all the way from Fallbrook just to get their sandwiches. My favorite is the Garlic Cilantro Jumbo Shrimp Sandwich. They are not stingy with the shrimp! The bread is perfectly toasted the sandwich comes with a garlic aioli sauce which gives it the perfect flavor!! My husband gets the Filet Mignon Club Sandwich he says the meat is so tender and delicious! The service is so friendly they greet you as soon as you walk in. We stayed and ate and they asked us if we needed anything. The ambiance is quiet. They need to open one in north county! read more

Stopped by on a gloomy day for an early lunch with the family. I ordered the chicken chipotle sandwich with the chicken noodle soup. My mother ordered the chicken pesto sandwich and we when halfsies on both sandwiches. The chicken pesto needed more pesto. I def enjoyed my sandwich best. My brother ordered a tomato basil soup that was to die for!! The chicken nood wasn't all that good, but the few spoonfuls of tomato soup I had were exquisite. First time at the deli with 2 friends. Sat outside. Ordered the Loaded Original BLT. It was the BEST BLT I've ordered out. Loaded it was with great flavorful bacon lots of fresh tomatoes and spring mix lettuce on toasted sour dough bread with garlic aioli and mayo. The menu is off the charts for selections. The service was quick. The staff was super friendly and thanked us for coming in. When the lunch crowd decreased a bit one of the staff came out to ask how we liked our selections. Reviews were true. This place met my expectations and provided me a good lunch. They have a variety of sandwiches, I chose the pepper farm pounder. I chose to get mine without tomatoes or pickles. It had two types of cheeses on it, I did not like the cheddar. Overall it was a good sandwich, the meat and vegetables were fresh and tasty. It also came with a spicy sauce. I'm currently trying to find and try all the best sandwiches in San Diego and Pepper farm deli is a place that I would return. I am excited to try out other sandwiches. The staff was friendly and quick to make your sandwiches. The deli was nice and clean. There is indoor seating plus outside seating to sit on a nice day. All I can say is that the food here is spectacular. Everything we ordered was great, including a roast beef sub, a BBQ sandwich, gyros, chicken fingers and fries. I went there for the first time last night. The staff were nice, the place was spotless, they also have a nice seating area outside. I enjoyed my sandwich (Wild Turkey Gobbler). So, why the 4 you ask. They can step their game up a little. The sandwich was served on a soft hoagie/sub type roll instead of on the Dutch Crunch roll shown on the website. The rolls would be better if they were the crusty french bread type. I had the potato salad too and it was good. Would have been better with hardboiled eggs in it. Maybe that's not everyone's taste and I like a high egg to potato ratio. They have a wide variety of desserts there. I had the cheesecake. I would not recommend it and I won't buy it again. Both the filling and the graham cracker crust were just "off". Jack in the Box's is better TBH. I am looking forward to trying another dessert. I am certainly going to go back. I also inquired about their bagels thinking about their breakfast menu. I am very fond of bagels IF they are the old fashioned Jewish boil and bake style with that wonderful chewy exterior that is hard to find any more. Sadly, nope, just plain old white "bagels" which are nothing more than bread made into the shape of a bagel. However, you find that even at so called bagel places like Einsteins. One more thing I really really liked is that they have real "to go" menus that you can take with you. Not everyone does the order from your phone thing. read more

This place definitely earns their 5 stars!! The food is so fresh and delicious. This is an order at the counter establishment but the food is cooked to order. It takes a little bit of time for the food to be cooked but it is worth the wait! We had breakfast both times. The veggie sandwich was perfectly cooked and garlic aioli is amazing! My husband and daughter both throughly enjoyed their veggie omelettes. My son loves avocado toast but they do not have one on the menu....but that didn't stop them from making him one each time. This place was definitely the right place to end up at! They have breakfast options, smoothies, wraps, salads, flatbreads, soups, sides and sandwiches! They did not disappoint with their menu, and the food was great too. I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich for myself since it's my go-to order, but truly impressed with the fact that they have something for everyone. They had a limited amount of indoor seating but they also had outdoor seats too. After our first visit here yesterday, I'm not sure why they don't have a solid 5 stars. We were looking for something different to grab on our way in to Santee and stopped based on the 2 reviews I read. I called in our order quickly choosing 4 sandwiches as they were closing soon. The Reuben, Philly Cheesesteak, and Pepper Farm Turkey Club were delicious. The Little Italy is not my "taste", but still a good sandwich. We divided all into 4 and the 4 of us ate with chips and fruit on the side until we were full (they do not skimp) and we still had leftover's. All the ingredients were quality from the fresh bread to the crisp greens. We will definitely be back and are interested in trying the breakfast, soup and desserts. The place was clean and our order was ready to go when we arrived. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is on the north side of the building... perfect for those hot Santee days coming up. read more

I originally ordered the Salmon Plate, and I was a little bummed when the man who took our order told me the salmon couldnt be served to me because it was no longer good. BUT I do appreciate that he told me, instead of serving me bad food and potentially making me sick. I honestly didn't mind the wait for food, because it was well worth the way!
