I thought this place was pretty tasty! Me and five co-workers went to this cozy place for dinner. We were not disappointed. Apps-loaded totchos, chicken nuggets, giant pretzel, and crispy Brussels. The Brussel sprouts and chicken nuggets were my favorite!! For dinner I got the short rib grilled cheese. Delicious! Others got fish and chips, burger, tacos, salmon, and steak frites. This restaurant is horribly managed. My husband made reservations for Mother's Day. We chose peppers because my terminally ill father in law is undergoing cancer treatments and we try not to be in crowded places. But because he doesn't have much time left he doesn't want to miss out on celebrating with family while he still can. We called well in advance and they took our reservation. We specified wanting to be in the patio because it would limit the crowd/germ factor. My husband then called a few days before to confirm his reservation. When he did he was told they were not taking reservations for Mother Day. He explained he had already made the reservation and the person in the phone confirmed that it was in fact on their calendar and she informed... " it's 9, on their patio?" So it was clear she had it down or was psychic. I'm guessing the former. Fast forward to Mother Day. We show up and we're told " we're not taking reservations ". My husband said "i called to confirm and was told it was on your calendar." Sure as shit, on their calendar clear as day it says " joe, party of 9 on the patio" Fast forward and the manager comes out and says to my husband " I'm the manager and I didn't take your reservations". i say, he made it weeks ago, called to confirm two days ago and ITS ON YOUR CALENDAR. She then asks my husband to confirm he made a reservation by confirming who he talked to. Are you freaking kidding me?!? How did it magically end up in your calendar? Am i a freaking magician?!?! At this point i'm pissed this gaslighter is being so rude to my husband who not only made the reservation but went the extra mile to confirm it! No apologies from the manager who raises her voice at me. This would be the point a GOOD manager would have said " i sincerely apologize, you're absolutely right you did make a reservation and we will absulutely honor it. I'm sorry I was mistaken. Alas, this manager got defensive when she was clearly in the wrong. Then, even though there was half a dozen tables in the shaded part of the patio, she sits us and my medically vulnerable father in law to baste in the direct heat in the unshaded part of the patio. She never visited the table to see how it was. The server did her best to make the table happy but at this point her manager had already ruined the outing by being rude, condescending and essentially doing the bare minimum. It's a shame this establishment is run so poorly. The food is good. The servers are friendly. But the place is understaffed and management is very poor so it's clear they are always playing catchup. I wish ai could say we'll be back but at this point, I doubt it. read more

Pepper's was highly recommended by hotel and co-workers I was in town to assist. I visited on a Monday night and it was not very busy. Was seated right away. And that is where it seemed to stop being ok. Waited for about 10 minutes before any server stopped to take my drink order, while the staff walked by my table multiple times. Finally the server arrived and not only took my drink order but also food order, burger no bun with extra patty cord to medium well. The drink finally arrived and then the burger came out, missing the extra patty and cooked to medium rare. Asked where the second patty was and they said they would get it going right away. The second patty came out, rare! Sent it back and finally came back, but medium rare again. Just ate it and left, but would not recommend going here and not sure I would return to give a second opportunity. IMO If an order is missing something or sent back a manager should come out and discuss hour they could correct it do better. Hope you have better service and food than I did. read more

Traveling through Colorado from Texas and decided to stop here for dinner. We sat on the patio and it was so nice. We had a view of the mountains while eating. It was so nice and serene. We got the cheese curds ($9) and they were actually really good. I loved the green onion that came on them. I got the steak frites ($18) and it was cooked the way I wanted and the rosemary Demi glaze was actually delicious on the steak. I couldn't finish it because I feel like they gave me the whole steak! Husband got the short rib grilled cheese ($16) and said it was very good and he would get it again. Service was good and she was so nice. We didn't wait long at all but we did get served before the rush. Really loved our dinner here. read more

What a great place I came here with my daughter for a brunch date and it was great. The atmosphere was buzzing and they were nice to my toddler daughter who can be a handful at times. This place is really nice. The outdoor seating is spacious and well done, they have televisions but just being able to see the Rocky Mountains while eating was worth the whole experience. We first ordered chicken nuggets for a snack. We can say this could easily be a meal and the nuggets were hand cut and lightly battered which made them very tender. The prime rib dip was very good. The meat was very tender and flavorful and the dipping sauce was like a gravy which held to the bread when dipped, they also include grilled onions and mushrooms under a layer of provolone cheese. The jacks burger was a good size but the menu indicated it was spicy but it wasn't that spicy. The staff is very friendly and the prices are what you would find any where in the area. Awesome little restaurant. Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious. We tried the chicken buffalo tater tots app and it was really good, on the smaller side but perfect for two people. The burgers were so yummy. I tried the truffle oil and mushroom burger, my husband got the green chili burger (can't remember the exact name). Both were cooked perfect and loaded with toppings. Wow! We came here after playing golf in Firestone for a bite to eat and didn't really know where to go and are we glad we found this gem?! Indoor dining experience: tables are situated a good distance and waitress was wonderful. Group came for lunch and we all enjoyed our meal. I had the Burger with green chilis, nephew has the breakfast burger, niece has the cheesesteak and other niece had their steak salad. My grand niece had their child's fish and chips. We have now been to Pepper's twice and loved it each time. It's so nice to go in and feel like everyone knows everyone. The world needs more bar and grills that resemble CHEERS in my opinion and this place is nailing it! Two of the people in our party had burgers, one had the Buffalo Chicken Salad and I had the fish tacos. The burgers were cooked perfectly and my husband can't stop talking about the bacon on his burger. The tacos weren't the best fish tacos I have ever had, but they were still good. I wouldn't likely order them again. The bar drinks were great, prices were perfect for the quantity of food. The best part is the staff though. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and kind.
