As much as I like to support local and small businesses it is difficult. Most do not bother to respond to inquiries, but ask for advance notice and again do not respond. They state they respond within a certain time frame, but do not. Unfortunately, I reached out twice to this vendor and did not receive a response. It would be appreciated to respond even if your not available. Customer service goes a long way. read more

AMAZING!!! I'm so fortunate to find Pepsy on yelp and booked her service in advance for my son's 1st birthday. She went above and beyond my expectations of any other bakery would provide. I initially contacted her thru yelp messenger requesting a Star Wars themed birthday cake and smash cake and sent sample photos of what I would like. She replied in a timely manner and that she would be able to take care of everything. Pepsy made it convenient for me to pay a deposit and remaining balance via paypal since I'm from Las Vegas but decided to have the party closer to family in Norwalk. She also delivered the baked goods to the venue on the day of the event and didn't expect that she would be able to. So I trust my fellow yelpers to do right by their reviews, therefore, I tend to only become a patron of 4 stars plus establishments. There have been exceptions to this, however it is usually bcuz my mind was too preoccupied to do a yelp search. But I digress. This place had great reviews and was local enough, and I was on a short time leash. I needed a birthday cake for the next day, but since the reviews raved about how great the cake was even on last minute notice, I wasn't too concerned. So I inquired and was asked about colors, types, themes, etc. I sent several pics before my daughter found a heart one she loved. I text and said the heart one was the one she wanted. The response I received was "so I'm thinking "blah blah blah" .... So I think well it IS somewhat short notice, maybe a heart shape is too much work for her? So I go with her opinion thinking I have nothing to worry about bcuz hey - great reviews right? F-ING WRONG!!! I had asked for a goth theme and a skull and/or skulls on the cake. So long as they weren't cheesy cartoony skulls. I wasn't home when it got delivered but the second I looked at it I couldn't have been more disappointed. She literally just attached a weird fake looking skull ON the side of the cake. It looked so phony and out of place. If that wasn't bad enough, the flowers looked dead but not in a goth dead way, more in like a they didn't get water and died way. And they weren't even edible! I think they were supposed to be but the girls said they were disgusting! So freaking disappointing. As a matter of fact, NONE of the room full of hungry teenage girls liked the way ANY of the cake tasted and I had to throw most of it away! Huge waste of money.
