You stop at the counter, place your order, pay & wait. Staff were friendly and all greeted me with a smile. They were pretty busy, 15min passed and I asked about my order, I was told about 5 more minutes, meanwhile the same brown paper bag was still sitting on the counter. A woman came and asked what I ordered and the name on the order. After telling her, she grabbed the bag on the counter and gave it to me. While she assured me the bag wasn't there for too long, I asked for new fries and they honored that. My grass-fed cheeseburger was amazing! My fries were piping hot too. I also ordered the paradise egg sandwich and that was amazing as well. The green machine smoothie had an off putting after taste so I wouldn't order that again.

It's a real, standard burrito, the kind my Mexican mom would make for me before school. Simple, comforting, and filling in the best way. Because of that, the price point feels very fair. Just putting out there that La Farine is hands down one of the best bakeries in Oakland, so it makes sense that this sandwich would be so dang good. I'll be honest that I'm not a big fan of the chips or those chips in general and could be fine with just the sandwich. If you are going to have any sandwich to eat here first, I would highly recommend you try "The Balls" because I promise you will not be disappointed. And when a leashed dog stopped by, he came out from behind the counter with cuts of deli meat as treats.
