Ate there on opening day; had chicken mono, veggie mono, and a mango lassi. The food was great, came out fast and was delicious. They gave us a free cup of chai too. Very happy to have them in the neighborhood.

Momo is really good, jhol is not. No newari flavor in either.

We had a great time there with friends. There was no tent but the weather was nice and the heat lamps did the job. The staff seemed friendly, courteous and plenty of smiles at the counter. 5/5 so far. Food is where we had to try really really hard to appreciate the business all the way. We found more of a generic Nepali/Indian restaurant flavor that is available at any location we can find around the Bay Area. There was no flavors that would speak itself as a newari dish. Being newars ourselves from different parts of Nepal, our group had high hopes to finally find a place to claim as our new joint but seems the search is still on. 2/5 is being generous. The quality is there for a food truck but flavors not quite. Momo was good but jhol brought it down. We will stopby again as the business is new so we wish you the best of luck and hope to see you improve.

Newari Kitchen delivers on its name with fast service, friendly staff, and legit flavors. I absolutely love their khuwa Yomari. The outdoor seating is a nice touch, and the covered space is just as inviting. If you're after authentic Newari food, this place is the real deal.

Amazing food I love the paneer momo. The setup is pretty cool for a food truck. The folks serving were nice too.

However I decided to go ahead and place an order. When I was finally asked if I was ready to order, employees were nice. I sat while waiting for my order because they have a cute eating area if you wanted to sit and enjoy your food there. They have two picnic tables under heat lamps with a few wine barrels for standing. Nice little set up. Food was hot and surprisingly delicious. The momos were good and the sauces that came with everything was also great. The spicy red sauce definitely has a kick! Location is a bit strange, it's in a parking lot with a small eating area. The employees brought out games for the area to use, such as cornhole and jenga. Everyone who worked there was super nice and talked to us about the food and Nepal. Food was brought out to us at our table which was a bit unexpected for a food truck. Price and quantity was typical for a food truck. With the service and delicious food this is a must stop if you're in El Cerrito or driving through the area as we were going up to Tahoe. I have also seen them pop up elsewhere around the bay but this seems like a permanent spot for them. Overall: 4.7/5

It's essentials a lot with some parking ample space to sit and eat and there is another food stall as well as the Momo food truck, which only serves momo. If you want to try other Nepali dishes go over to the food stand his brother runs. I ordered my C- Chicken Momo, which is made fresh because they give you a little vibrating tag which lets you know when it is ready. I also got some buff (as in water buffalo) skewura (skewers) I had my pupster with me, so it's a dog friend place cuz it's outdoor seating, so I took it home. Oh my the c- momos was so good (they ask you spice level) I took mine to Nepali medium, the buff skewurs were so good and served on puffed rice with slices of cumber and a hot sauce. I definitely will be back, because they have a Newari dish called Barra, which I will be getting. The Nepali people are very nice as well. So if you have spent time in Nepal and missing the food, try this place.

The lady asked if I wanted salsa, I said yes. She gave me what I think is a salsa verde. I had taken the tacos to go eat at home. I noticed that the tacos came with a lemon instead of a lime. The tacos all had onions, parsley and maybe some salsa on top. The radishes were dry. The lengua seemed to have the most flavor than the other two. The carnitas had a couple dry pieces of meat but with some added salsa it was better. The carne asada was fine, could have a little more flavor. This taco truck will not break your wallet.

We've seen the…read moreLoaded Chickn food truck before, usually coupled with long lines of people waiting to place an order, I naturally assumed the food must be worth the wait. On Friday we decided to give it a try. Honestly we both were hoping to order the Chicken Fried Rice but unfortunately they were completely sold out. So we opted for the Cajun Chicken tenders and fries as well as the Mango Habanero chicken wings and fries. It took about 25 minutes for our order to be completed. We were extremely pressed for time so we literally grabbed our food and left. In hindsight the time was extremely reasonable as that's how long it takes for your food to be prepared. In other words our food was made to order and not previously prepared. Let me just say the Mango Habanero wings were delicious! They were generously sauced with the right about of crispness. I found them to be flavorful and abundant. My order came with about 10 wings, fries and sauce. The sauces did not come with a lid, I was t too thrilled about that. As for the tenders, they were large, well seasoned with a dry rub, crispy and juicy. It's two days later and I am STILL thinking about my food which is a great sign. If you're in a rush, it will take a while for your food to be prepared and because the food is excellent know you will have to stand in quite a line. I would highly recommend if you enjoy chicken as there are several options to choose from. I most definitely will be returning!

Additionally, it's right in front of a noisy tire repair shop, so plan to take this food to go. With that said, the food was great! The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and they have plenty of sauce options. The fries were pretty basic, but nothing too special. My biggest complaint was the speed of the service. It took about 20+ minutes for our order to be ready, and we were the only customers the whole time we were there. The chicken was fresh, but it was far too hot to eat and I actually found that it tasted much better after sitting out for 20-30 minutes. Not sure how they can improve this, but that's how I felt.

Everything is extremely solid, fresh, flavorful, and just overall, comforting. To note, several veggie/vegan options here, shrimp dishes, and also for meat eaters: chicken, pork, buffalo, goat, beef, lamb.
