3 of us went. Out of those three we all got rushed and our "towel wrap" consisted of having our legs wiped down with a warm washrag. When I arrived on Thursday afternoon, the place was packed. However, I was able to get to a chair almost immediately. The workers were friendly. However the reason I am giving them a three star is because I felt like the service was rushed. They did not take their time like other places I have been to. I got a mani/pedi and it was just ok... i usually do SNS so I don't know much about acrylics. I picked my colors and waited for a while, but it was a weekend day so it's not their fault. finally, a guy my age (maybe mid 20s) was ready. I would've liked someone more experienced but everyone has to practice to be experienced so i assumed it would be fine because my old salon is full of younger kids that do great. all of a sudden, an older employee notices I have gel and she starts LOUDLY explaining to me that they charge $5 extra to remove gel. she had the tone of an employee who just caught a shoplifter. I accept that they charge to remove someone else's work. I clearly understand and she notices I picked out acrylic powder, & yells some more about how it costs more than having polish painted on top of plain acrylic (I didn't know the difference) because i politely said "i thought acrylic was 25" after she tells me it's $35 + $5 for removal. I really didn't know the difference. I was treated like a loud angry customer and I was extremely quiet and cooperative. at this point, everyone in the salon is staring at me being treated like I was being problematic when all I was doing was silently nodding. I REALLY didn't appreciate being humiliated like that. the guy doing my nails could've explained this to me from a foot away instead of a lady standing above me and yelling like a teacher apprehending a loud student. guess it's too much to expect that a salon teaches all employees the prices. I can't stand businesses that treat people like this when there is NO MENU or any sort of explanation of fees. I prefer going to nail salons where they're up front about costs instead of forcing you to ask for every little upcharge, making you feel like a cheap jerk. the guy pours acetone and a thin strip of cotton into a sandwich bag and shoves my hand in, forcefully bending my finger tips into an awkward position so the nails sit on the cotton while my hands are bent down. instead of the cotton sitting on my nails. I couldn't believe this. it hurt so bad. my previous salon charges LESS and uses the method of wrapping each nail with wet cotton and foil, then sticking my hand into a loose glove. this is the point where I no longer enjoyed this normally relaxing process and I began to lose hope. this process HURT. I work at a warehouse and my hands go through a lot. now my entire FINGERS are soaking in pure acetone. 10 minutes later, he comes back. my hands are raw. he removes one bag and starts filing while the other hand sits in acetone. the drill bit he used caused so much discomfort, I was genuinely scared he was gonna drill straight through to my nail bed. i've had gel removed a few times and i've never seen anyone use a rough metal bit. my old salon uses a fine grit stone. my old salon also didn't leave me with cuts all over my fingers, some of which were swollen the next day and I really thought i'd have to go get antibiotics. finally, we go onto the acrylic application and i try to relax. he does all 10 nails, then I look st them. the acrylic doesn't even wrap around the tip. I can see through to my natural nail at some corners, and one nail is pretty bare at the base, like he started a few millimeters from the base. you can straight up see my nail. I politely ask if he can add more to the tips, so he touches up one hand then asks if we're done. he didn't even check the other hand. why would I want only one hand fixed? I politely ask if he can do the other hand. he does. so I look at them and they're still not great but better. then he shoves my hand in an OPI gel blacklight while working on my other hand. the machine isn't even on. so he tells me "no, this way" and moves my hand in some more as if I was supposed to know the light is motion activated. it goes for 30 seconds then turns off. he forces my hand out and back in to reactivate the light as if i'm supposed to read his mind. that was also awkward and made me feel stupid. it's NOT hard to communicate with customers. especially when they're clearly new customers. i'm over it, so I pay and leave. I try not to look at my nails because i feel so defeated. later, I look and I can see the sharp corner of my natural nail on almost every finger. If I touch it, it peels down from the acrylic. the picture doesn't do it justice. the natural nail poking out is SO sharp on my ring finger. customers: 1 came in for an appointment& waited as long as I did without one. 2 had her baby with her and she picked a color. the lid wasn't screwed on all the way, and it spilled on her baby's LEG and shirt. she was politely asking for napkins and was completely ignored. a customer (busy getting her nails done) pointed at the sink where towels were, and the lady's older daughter (maybe 4-5) went to get towels. she could barely reach. no employee attempted to get up and help. customers were doing the employees job. unbelievable. read more

I had the worst most expensive pedicure & manicure I've ever experienced in my life ... I'm very short & I had to explain that my feet could not reach the water in the pedicure chair so they eventually moved me ... I feel like they know they service sucks so no one out of the 4 nail technicians me & my mom interacted with gave us their name... I usually get jelly pedicures and it took them forever to find the jelly and no one asked me which flavor I want I was just giving lavender which I hate lavender... This place was horrible. My teen daughter had a school formal dance and we were told they did eyelash application. The tech they had applying her individual eyelashes used so much glue that the top part of the eyelash got really stuck to the bottom part of her lash where she couldn't open her eye and her eye had a burning sensation from the glue. It took several people to come in to help my daughter be able to get her eye open. Very traumatic experience for a teenager to go through. If you guys don't have an experienced eyelash tech then stop advertising you do lashes before you get a law suit slapped on your business for actually damaging someone's eye because of the lack of experience. The tech that did my daughter's nails also did not do the job correctly. My daughter asked for ballerina cut style nails and they came out more like square looking cut style nails, she also didn't asked for any crazy wild nail design, just French manicure and that even turned out horrible where we had to return back to the nail shop for the tech to fix some uneven painted tips. Would never recommend this place especially for the prices they charge for the worse experience ever!!!!!!!!!! read more

My experience at this nail spa and salon was not very good. I'm going to be honest as a soccer player, I don't have the nicest feet, but i've gone to many other shops and haven't experienced this level of disrespect I experienced here. I came in for a polish change. Once I sat down, the lady said, "oh my god" and then suggested that I get a pedicure. At this point I was very embarrassed. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Let me start by stating that I am from Boston Mass and there are some pretty amazing salons there.. I've moved to Virginia Beach and now I'm near Lake Oconee in Georgia. This is the first salon I've been to in YEARS that has done my nails the way I like them, and I am extremely particular about my nails. I drove just short of two hours to get to Perfect 10, and it is well worth the drive. The owner is extremely pleasant, and is more than accommodating. I requested the most skilled nail technician, and instead of just handing me off to someone and disregarding my request, she made it a point to get Jimmy for me, who is exceptionally talented in his trade. $70 is a lot of money for a full set to walk out unsatisfied and frustrated to the point of tears. That was NOT the case this time. My nails came out completely uniform and absolutely stunning. Their main concern is making sure that they are doing everything to your liking, and in no way do they rush. They all just seem so passionate about what they do, and they do a damn good job. You can just tell by the way Jimmy files that he knows what he is doing. They are so kind and polite, and I can not stress enough how good this salon is. This is my new salon of choice and I have just been ecstatic all day about how gorgeous my nails turned out. read more

Probably one of the worst manicures I've ever gotten. The girl that did my nails had no idea what she was doing and she was in a hurry which made things even worse. I came in the shop having SNS gel powder on my nails, she rushed trying to remove my old polish, using the sanding file a little too aggressively. after being tortured by the removal process it was finally time for the new powder, that went fine but after you do the new powder you have to sand it down and add new coats of polish she was using 3 different bottle, forgetting which one she has just used. she didn't sand them down evenly and when she put the final coat on she used too much on some of my nails an not enough on others. while i was drying she kept touching my nails and messing them up. she had to redo my nails 3 times. they were closed at this point and i had been there for over 2 hours! they insisted I give them my card with wet nails, she all but took my card out of my wallet herself. she messed them up one final time and at that point they were shoving my receipt in my face for me to sign, I signed and left with crappy looking nails. $35 for a SNS manicure and all for them to look horrible! I was leaving the next morning for vacation and I had no time to do anything about them. I'm sure this place has some decent nail technicians, the girl I sat next to her nails looked great, but the way they handled their business and screwing up my nails multiple times and forcing me to pay with wet nails while I was clearly unhappy is unprofessional. I am a woman of color who has been a patron of this salon since they opened. I also gave them free advertising, via word-of-mouth. I only get pedicures because of getting a nail fungus at a nail salon in Athens 14 years ago on my left hand. I was given a $150.00 gift card one year for Christmas. I used it 4 years ago on my daughter and two of her friends. Because they were teens, they were asked for services they didn't realize would add on to the cost of their services. The salon manager/owner apologized and gave me a business card that she said I could use to discount the price of future services. I stuck the card in my wallet and forgot about it. Late this past summer I wanted to use one of the credits. They started speaking in their native tongue and the young woman who helped me began arguing with me that they wouldn't have used a business card but one of their gift cards. She treated me with contempt as if I was a criminal, and lying about how I came to be in possession of a business card with figures on the back rather than one of their gift cards. I normally would have handled her decisively, but did not want to sink to her level. I told her that I would not ever be back, and I won't. If you're a person of color, please beware. They are only interested in the color of your money, and you won't receive the respect you deserve. read more

The service was extremely SLOW! And friend and I went and it was a horrible experience for the both of us. I will never come here again! It looks like a child painted my nails. The pedi I got was bad too. I had a few moments if just walking out of there. The water was cold. And I had to request warm water. The staff have their kids there. So instead of doing their job, they were more tending to there kids needs. And would leave you for quiet a while. They were juggling more than one person at a time. It was ridiculous! And the cost was high and over priced for what I got. I actually thought about not paying them. I would give "zero" stars if the review page would let me! Completely unhappy.
