I enjoy this salon. Good prices and good service. I go every 2 weeks for about 5months now. They are pretty consistent with my browns. Sometimes I get my brows tinted which I love. I get my upper lip done once a month (I have never had a salon mess up on the upper lip). This is one of my top threading salons to go to in NYC. I like that they take credit cards. This is a great place to get a cheap quick eyebrow threading! Clean..you never have to wait long and after 9 times you get the 10th free!! The only downside which is annoying is them telling you about the other services they offer..also them calling you sweetie..thats just me, it may not bother other people! Alot less painful than waxing and if you are fair like me...you're eyebrows dont glow like rudolphs nose for hours after..I do it on my lunchbreak and can go right back to work..no big sunglasses needed! read more

Well, this is a case of you get what you pay for. I bought a coupon for a full leg / underarm wax for $21. The place is clean from the outside, but: - the towel over which the paper you lie on is spread doesn't get changed - and we all know what happens to that paper - the wax sticks didn't work and didn't heat up properly And - the worst of it all, the lovely Indian woman didn't know what she was doing. It's day two now, my legs are in bright red, burning patches - she took some of the skin off. It is cheap. It is also the WORST wax job I've ever had. And I am not sure it is sanitary. Do yourself a favor - don't come here. read more

I gave this place a try after a disappointing separation from my former brow "specialist". I was skeptical because I was so used to my lady who I have seen since I was 17. Eyebrows are not something to mess around with. I decided to take a chance considering many people were waiting I thought, they must be good. I gave this place a try and wow I am happy I did! Manu, I believe her name is was GREAT! My eyebrows are perfect she didn't change my shape and yes she did try to sell me facial but whatever it's a business and I was a walk-in. I plan on seeing her again. Threading is a lot less painful than waxing and gives the same beautiful results, $7 can't beat that! read more

This was not only my first visit here but it was also my very first time trying out threading my brows and I was so nervous. They knew it was my first time and they were so nice and the lady who did my brows was so nice and sweet and so gentle that I honestly didn't realize any pain. I've gone here for threading only. These women do an OK job, and are usually pretty fast and give a good shape. However, they need to know some basic courtesy rules: DO NOT make any comments about the customer's hair! "Been a long time?" "You have a lot of hair" etc, are RUDE comments and yes, duh, the reason I am here is because I want my hair removed. I don't want to have a conversation about it. Additionally, DO NOT push services on people (lip wax? lip wax? lip wax?), also rude and unnecessary. Believe me, people will tell you if they want another service. Just do the job you're asked to do, make no comments unless they are complimentary ones. read more

Came in today because i needed a brow and lip wax. Although the lady was nice i left very upset and pissed off. My eyebrows looked a mess! I came in and asked for a WAX of my lips and eyebrows the asian lady proceded to wax the bottom of my eyebrow and when she pulled the wax off she had to pull it off a couple of times because of the sloppy job. Then she moves to the top right eyebrow and procceds to thread. I politely asked her not to do that because I do not like threading because it is very painful for me. So she did another sloppy jon the top eyebrow. Then proceded to my left eyebrow and started threading again! I asked her not to but she still proceded. At this point i was ready to go, then she said she was done, my eyebrows looked a mess!!!! The middle was not even touched. I told her i was not satified and twice she tried to clean up my eyebrows and it still looked bad! Since she wasnt getting it i decided it was time to go. So i paid for this horrible job and i wont be coming back. Never had an experience like this in my life! read more

Came here today because I was in the area and needed my bored threaded. I usually go to Himalayan near Rockefeller center but didn't want to go out of my way today. Well I for sure will be sticking to my usual place. My brows look their usual great as I told them to just clean them up and not screw with the shape. I think the techs here are talented. However I prefer Himalayan because at least there I 1) never have to just day clean up and 2) will never try to be up sold. Not that brow threading needs to be super relaxing and I get that it's a cheap service ($7) but if I want to get my brows threaded that's all I want. It's beyond annoying when someone forgoes small talk to tell you of all the other services they do. Skip it. 3 stars only for the techs. read more

Came in for a brow threading and lip wax (lip threading hurts too much). They convinced me to do lip threading since it's kinder on your skin- can't remember the girl's name that I had, but she was very efficient and gentle and results were great. I was in and out in less than ten minutes. They also only charged me $5 instead of $10 since I was a new customer. Friendly man at the register as well. Highly recommend. read more

Absolutely terrible. The first time I came here was because of proximity and it was for a Brazilian. The woman who performed the service wasn't friendly but she did a decent job. The second time was the worst waxing experience I have ever had. The woman ignored what I said even though I was very clear about what I wanted. After I paid she outright asked me to tip her! Maybe this place is better for eyebrow threading but I've never tried it. I would advise against their body waxing services. Oh and if you are looking for good customer service, you won't find it here. The staff is beyond rude. read more

I just went waxing and the place is not new for me I had been there before.The lady who is doing my waxing is not a professional lady and it was too hard to communicate with her. this place is great -- clean, new, friendly. they do sugar waxing as well as threading, to which i am a new convert. it's hard to find a threading salon that also does brow tinting. this place does a great job at both. previously, I had gone to boom boom, but this place is faster -- i've never had to wait -- and much cheaper. plus, i don't leave with a red, swollen face as i do after waxing. read more

Do not go here if you need shaping. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for 15 years and know when people can just clean up or actually know how to really shape. It's my face so I'm picky and I don't want some random thread job. I want a good job that makes my eyebrows look great. I did not have that experience here. She was very nice but it literally took 30 minutes because I had to keep describing how I usually get them and she kept making the shape a little weird. I normally do not need to explain so much at my top places that specialize in shaping. They just know how to shape. This place does not seem to know. And it was not just my person it was the other too because while I was in process someone came in to complain to the other lady that she was not happy with her shape either. We both left unhappy. Now my eyebrows are not what I wanted and I have to wait forever for them to grow out. If you need an easy thing done like chin and lip it's a good price. But if you need something with the skill of shaping, just walk away. Again they were very nice but nice doesn't shape unfortunately. read more
