This review and my experience would've been 5 stars had I not ended my massage and experience with a lady. I am unsure of her name. My first time here and I may not return. I had called 30 minutes before arriving as this was a last minutes plan for myself on the drive home. Thought I'd stop in for an hour massage. The lady on the phone said I could come in as they accept walk ins. Upon arriving, I paid my dues, $60 for an hour massage plus a $2 card fee. My masseuse in the beginning was a male. He asked me the kind of pressure I'd like and I chose soft. I am not sure at what point him and the lady switched however, I immediately felt the difference in pressure. She was really rough and rushed through my massage. Twice I asked her to go soft as she was hurting me and at this point I no longer could enjoy my massage. No response. I didn't know they had switched until she announced she'd be back, just grabbing a towel. My first time experiencing a head massage and had it been delicate, I think I would've enjoyed it. Unfortunately, she was rough on my head as well. At the end of my time, she very loudly told me we were finished. No relaxation with this massage. When walking out, she comes to the counter and asks if the receipt she had was mine. I told her yes. She then tells me I wrote $0 for the tip and if I wanted to pay tip with cash. First, I'm not tipping on a service I did not receive yet and second, I was not happy with my massage. She then hassled me and asked if I liked my massage and why I wouldn't tip. Had I stayed with the same masseuse, I would've loved it. $60 for 60 minutes is a great deal! I'd say if you were to come here, speak up for yourself so that you may enjoy your time. She checked in frequently about the pressure, which I like. I don't even live in Roseville, but in Rancho. I'd drive back here again for her. Got the 90 minute combo massage that includes: deep tissue done with therapist feet while she walks on my back (yeah, sometimes painful), hot stones, percussion, stretching, assisted flexion and extensions, foot reflexology. The therapist was a female who is all of 4' 9" tall and probably weighs no more than 90 pounds. And she is one of the strongest people ever to massage me. I left the spa with much looser feeling joints, spine and major muscles. Writing this review 10 hours post treatment. My back is sore from the work-out. But the usual stiffness is completely gone. My range of motion is greater. Let's see what my golf swing looks like tomorrow morning. Good work. Nice people. Clean studio. I might become a regular customer. read more

WOW WOW WOW. I have never had such an intense and powerful deep tissue massage in my entire life. There were times I almost couldn't handle it BUT I told myself it's what my body needed. I've been coming her for some time now....several years....and was always pleased. The young ladies were very good and what I appreciate was knowing what to expect and knowing I'd get a good massage that helped my issues. But the last few times something has changed and I think I'll find somewhere else to go....Don't get me wrong, they are very nice but with very limited English skills. The consistency I thought was the best thing about this place is now gone. Now it's just a mixed bag...I gave them the benefit of the doubt and kept coming back but, I'm sorry to say no more. I wish I could give it a zero. Not only was it painful it was far from professional. I had a male masseuse (which I was not informed of until he entered the room) and he did not respect my decency. I was very uncomfortable especially when he got on top of me with no warning. I found my self unnecessarily exposed when to took the sheet covering me, telling me to turn over while I was uncovered and naked. I have had many massages before male and female and never one like this. Then when I left, obviously without tipping, he chased me out to my car demanding a tip. This is about as far from a relaxing experience as it's ever going to get. I don't even know where to start. I came here twice now, hoping that the second time would be better than the first. Boy, I was wrong. The first experience I had was for a foot reflexology massage. The "masseuse" that was working on me passed gas - not once, but continuously throughout my "massage". This wasn't a massage. It was just hands rubbing vigorously on parts of your body. There was no technique employed, no skill involved. Needless to say, the best part of this experience was getting up and walking away. The second time was for another foot reflexology massage at their other location. It was just as horrible of an experience as the first time around. I should have realized the first time that a massage at Perfect Day Spa means rubbing your body parts about 30 times in one direction as hard as possible. There's no skill involved in this. It's really pointless because sore muscles will continue to be sore, as there's no kneading or real massage work involved. I told the guy who was "massaging" me to be a little more gentle, and he nodded his head and said he understood, only to intensify his massage even more. Clearly, there's a communication barrier here as most of the employees don't speak a word of English. Please, please save your money for a real massage elsewhere at a legitimate place. Sure, you might pay double than what you would otherwise pay at this place, but it will be worth your while. read more

My experience was not so good... I booked a 1 1/2 hour massage. There was no real technique, just consistent rubbing to an area for long periods at a time. And, due to not having a receptionist manning the front, my Masseuse had to interrupt my session midway, to attend to a customer that walked in. Very unprofessional! This place is an awesome hole in the wall. Prices are cheap, the customer service is good - but the massages are surprisingly great. We've done foot massages, full body massages and combo body/foot. All of the massage therapists have been awesome. They listen to what you need and are good at what they do. Quarantine has me missing massages so much! All excellent. Perfect pressure and verbally asked if ur seemed uncomfortable. For my birthday they assed free sea salt. I went for a foot massage today, and this place has really cleaned up! I hadn't been here in several months, but had been a few times before that. There is new decor, new beds, and everything seems clean and fresh. The massage was also better than I've ever had here! I don't know if they changed ownership recently, but they honored my old coupons. The staff was friendly and very good. My mother and grandmother were with me too, and we all said it was the best massage we've ever had at this place. I love strip-mall Asian massage places because it is so much more affordable than Massage Envy or a massage at a "real" spa, so I've seen several of these establishments.
