I was wondering why she didn't give me the mirror. I even tipped her. Smh. If I wasn't on a rush to leave, I would've stayed back. Never going back here ever again! Not trying to be dramatic, I'm internally screaming.

I have been threading my eyebrows for many years and I had never been this badly cut. When the lady was doing it, it kinda hurt but I didn't think anything of it. When she was done, my eyebrows were red like usual and when I got home my eyebrows were burning. And that's when I realized she had badly bruised me and cut me with the thread underneath my eyebrow. The shape of my eyebrows were fine but she was too rough to the point she hurt me. I don't recommend this place to anyone unless you like cuts around your eyebrows.

Pleasantly surprised! I am very picky when it comes to my eyebrows. I used to work in DC and would only get them done at Shohba. Since moving to VA I have yet to let anyone touch my brows until now. Despite the good reviews I was still nervous coming here but it was great. Pros: -No appointment necessary and no wait time, I was helped in 0.5 seconds -I told her I wanted to keep my brows thick and to just clean up the shape, they turned out as I wanted -price was reasonable at $12 Cons -they did not cleanse my eyebrows or give me a toilette to clean my hands before starting, this is good hygiene in my opinion because I have to touch my face so that docked 1 star

If you're looking to get your eyebrows threaded, don't come to this place unless you want to ruin your eyebrows. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Don't be fooled by the high ratings! I came in with a friend today, Wednesday May 17th, at around 2:30PM to get my eyebrows cleaned up before our graduation this weekend. Usually we frequent threading places in Tyson's, but because Fair Oaks Mall is closer to us, we decided to give this place a shot. I thought this store would do a decent job of threading as the ratings were quite high. There was one woman ahead of us when we walked into the store, and even though Sabitra was the only one working at the time, we didn't have to wait too long. My friend got her eyebrows threaded first, and then it was my turn. As I made my way to the threading chair, Sabitra asked if I was only going to do my eyebrows. I said yes...and that was the end of our conversation. She didn't ask me how I wanted my eyebrows to look, though all the eyebrow threading places I've visited before always have asked. Granted, I should have spoken up right at the get-go. However, I still think this was poor practice on their part to not even ask. According to my friend, it wouldn't have mattered had I said something - Sabitra pretty much disregarded my friend's request in keeping her eyebrows close to her natural shape. When Sabitra finished threading my eyebrows, I sat up from my chair to look at the mirror in front of me...and I almost screamed. She thinned out my eyebrows SO much that it basically was 3/4 of the original width. She also shaped my eyebrows to have a high arch, which I am NOT a fan of (I prefer a straighter brow). And when I say a high arch, I mean a HIGH arch. As you can tell from the after picture, I look like I'm constantly surprised due to my high-arched, thin eyebrows. I couldn't believe the horrible job she did to my eyebrows, especially right before my college graduation. I paid, left, and went straight to Sephora to fill in/fix my eyebrow tragedy. In this situation, the difference between my eyebrow hair and myself is that my eyebrow hair will come back. Do yourself a favor and go the extra mile (or couple of miles) to get your eyebrows done in Tyson's. You won't regret it.

I tried this place after seeing the comments by a couple other yelpers. I have been going to BrowArt 23 for almost a year. To sum it up 1. Mina threaded my eyebrows. She did a great job. 2. Once Mina was done another lady (older) walked over to look at my eyebrows and had he make a few adjustments. This was nice because it made me feel like they really care about the quality of work. 3. Seemed to be a family owed and operated place. Everyone was nice. Even when I called because I couldn't find the place as it was not located on the mall map and yelp has it listed in section F but I usually don't go to that end of the corridor. 4. Prices are the same as BrowArt23 $12.00 for eyebrow threading. 5. The process wasn't rushed like at BrowArt which I liked. It had a feel of actually going to a spa or salon to get threading done. 6. The decor is really nice!!! 7. Lastly there is a reward card which BrowArt23 does not have. After so many threading visits you earn a free one. I would recommend this place over the BrowArt23 location upstairs. read more

I have been going here for a while now and have always had great service and phenomenal results when getting my eyebrows threaded. Today I walk in and one technician is assisting a customer and another one was behind the counter asleep. Then she wakes up when the other lady called her name. Then I tell her I was my eyebrows CLEANED UP, NO SHAPE CHANGE with tint.... and of course she does the opposite. She changed the shape and on top of that left them completely in even. Luckily I looked at them in the mirror before she tinted them and mentioned it. She stated "yes I know they are uneven and changed the shape" SO SHE WAS AWARE! And was still going to continued with tinting. She apologized and said "hopefully it will grow back" and said she was going to pray for me that they would come back." What establishment says that? She said we will fix it when you come back and of course I said I will never be back. She continued and continued and continued even after I said that's enough just tint them fix them and let me go. After she finished she still asked for my phone number... why would i give you any info what so ever. Worst experience I have ever had in my time going there and I will not be back. She should not be licensed to do eyebrows and especially when you KNOW it was a bad job and continued. She was the worst. And clueless. read more

I work in the mall and I am an avid shopper so I have been walking past this place a few times. Finally today I went in. I am so happy I did. I do not have much hair on my eyebrow so I was very nervous to try this out. I had a woman whose name started with a G (Ganga?). I cannot remember it. But she was amazing. She took the time to understand what I want. And asked me how they looked multiple times until I was satisfied. My eyebrows look amazing. I will be back! read more

I stop by Perfect Eyebrows once a month at Tysons or Fairfax. I get excellent service at both locations. I use both locations due to my schedule. Girls are fast. I love speed work when getting my upper lip threaded. I also get my eyebrows and face threaded. Great quality. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Eyebrow threading was really good! She did an amazing job, however I got my upper lip waxed and she ripped my skin off she waxed the same area three times!!!......it has been red/painful for the past 4 hours...I think they reuse the stick for wax which I didn't really like..Also waxing for upper lip is $10 which is kind of expensive. read more

my girlfriend frequented this place and eventually Two of my friends worked in this salon. The owner duped them of their tips and fired them when they spoke up about it . Owner still owes hundreds of dollars in unpaid wages and benefits from the inability of day to day workers to file a lawsuit. Do not support monsters like this who think their workers are their slaves and not entitled to proper compensation. read more

This place is only remotely worth visiting because of the kind employees. The employer is a jerk who isn't just rude and unwelcoming but who i've heard cheats out on tips of the workers . As I explained multiple times, I am very aware of the contraindications associated with brow lamination services and did not use any acids, retinoids, or other products that would have compromised my skin before or after my appointment. What I find concerning is that your conclusion appears to be based on speculation rather than any medical evaluation. The fact remains that I developed redness, irritation, and scabbing in the exact areas where the chemical products were applied within 24 hours of the service. Delayed skin reactions following cosmetic chemical treatments are well documented and do not need to be visible immediately after a procedure to be related to it. I also find it disappointing that throughout this process the focus has been on defending the service and assigning fault to the client rather than acknowledging that adverse reactions can occur even when procedures are performed by experienced professionals. At this point, I am not interested in a redo of the service. My concern is not the appearance of my brows, but the reaction that occurred and the lack of accountability shown in response to it. This wasn't a casual appointment for me. I was already feeling nervous and vulnerable about whether the service would even be safe for me. Unfortunately, the staff member I spoke with showed no empathy or care whatsoever. Instead of addressing my concerns or offering any reassurance, she brushed me off, handed me a consent form to read on my own, and abruptly walked away to attend to another client. I was left standing there feeling dismissed and unheard. There was no effort to answer my questions, guide me through the process, or make me feel comfortable. To make matters worse, I was simply told to "book online" if I wanted to proceed. Without any real consultation or support. That is not what I would expect from a business that provides personal care services, especially when a client is expressing legitimate health concerns. This experience left me feeling even more anxious than when I walked in. Compassion and basic customer care go a long way, and sadly, neither was present here. Based on this interaction, I would not recommend this location or any affiliated locations. If this is how clients are treated. If i could give no stars I would!

Would definitely recommend going to her to get your eyebrows microbladed. You can see all of her work on her instagram (@mybrow247) and the booking process was very straightforward. I texted the number on her instagram and was able to get an appointment for the following weekend. The day before my appointment, she texted me a reminder as well as pictures of the address/building number. Once I arrived, I washed my hands and got my temperature checked. Her studio is clean and I felt very safe the whole time. She customized my eyebrow shape and was very meticulous with the whole process, including checking how my eyebrows would move when opening and closing my eyes. During the process, she explained what she was doing and the tattoo part did not hurt (since your eyebrows get numbed, you can hear the sound but I personally didn't think it was painful). I'm obsessed with the result -- my eyebrows looked very natural and I am excited to see how they heal over the next coming weeks! I also booked a touch up appointment for 4 weeks from now.

I said no, my brows are too thin and that I was thinking about getting microblading but I am kind of scared to get it done. Lina told me all these natural ways of growing my own eyebrows.
