I'm not going to lie... I was really concerned about this move because I had a huge, expensive glass table as well as a Peloton bike I recently purchased. I just knew for sure that moving was going to be a huge challenge. Not one bit at all! Nick and his team on Truck 12 were great sports, friendly, and efficient. I highly recommend them for any size move. We moved out of a walk-up building, and we needed help with packing and the movers didn't even blink. I'd even left a heavy item off my inventory list and the they worked with me to ensure it got moved and they still felt fairly compensated. One thing I wish had gone differently is they'd brought dish-packing boxes, which I had requested, and would have saved the two wine glasses and teapot that broke in transit. I do recommend customers have more than one call to make sure your expectations are set--but that is really on me, not them. I had unreasonable expectations about timing, and I didn't know how the packing part worked, so I def felt more stress when it took longer than I'd anticipated. But in any case, Nick kept giving me updates about how much longer it would take and he was pretty much right within ten minutes of his prediction! I was amazed how punctual they were and how professional, efficient they were. The movers themselves were mostly great, and the price was far better than what I could find elsewhere. The communication around the move was pretty good, with a few hiccups. I received a call from their offices on moving day that the movers were a touch ahead of the promised time frame, which was a slight inconvenience for me. I learned I would have to pay a fine if I could not accommodate their schedule-- a policy I hope they change moving forward. The movers worked really hard and did an all around great job. Two movers also tried to get my box spring up a narrow staircase. In so doing, they caused some damage to the ceiling (a small chunk cracked off). They ultimately decided they couldn't get it up the staircase, but later a different set of movers who delivered my couch the next week told me it would be no problem. Though Perfect Moving took a photo of the damage, they did not follow up with me about it. I will also share that Rock was very professional and kind in following up with me about this review, and that these issues seem to be flukes...especially based on the many other high quality reviews they have received! read more

But the folks from Perfect Moving more than lived up to their name. I mean, we had a LOT of stuff. I gotta say, I was skeptical at first because the price they quoted me was very competitive but the Yelp and Google reviews were a solid five stars. Well, the stars ended up being right because Perfect really was perfect. I worked primarily with Peter, and he was incredibly communicative throughout the whole process. On both ends of the move, they were timely and always kept me in the loop about what was going on. We did have one piece of furniture get damaged in the move - but hey, it's a move, it's likely to happen. What doesn't always happen is Rock, the owner, gave me a generous payment from the included insurance policy to help cover the damage. The gentlemen could not have been nicer, nor more gentle with our things. There wasn't so much as a scratch on our items, most of which are brand new. We had a plastic storage box that was already cracked and, upon delivery, they pointed it out to take responsibility. Just had the best experience with Perfect Moving. They made the move very easy. They gave me the estimate over the phone but since I wanted to make sure I sent in some photos of the bigger pieces. We moved out of the city to MA and they were very clear about the exact costs (no hidden costs and below some other estimates), the organization, timing, etc. They even recommended extra insurance for some of the more expensive items and which company to get it from. Rus, the supervisor, was capable, friendly and had everything under control. They brought the items directly to MA and unloaded them right away. The whole move was done in such a short time! Receiving a quote consisted of a very easy phone call (only a day after my request!) and giving a description of what needed to be moved. they were flexible with the scheduling date when I requested to change it. The movers were extremely efficient with moving my stuff! Rush took care with wrapping the furniture well and paid attention to details like pointing out any previous wear and tear which I appreciated. He also offered to move my house plants, and promised they would not get squished.
