Neither my mani or pedi were the best, but it would be a place I would come back to. $75 (includes the tip) for the gel mani/pedi - basic light pink for both. Another draw back - CASH only. We were not aware and ended up paying with a check. They were pretty sassy about leaving cash for top and upset when we told them we didn't have any. I walked in thinking I would do acrylic nails since two of my nails were chipped, but Dee said she can just add acrylic to my chips nails! I didn't even know this was an option since the other nail salons said they only do full set acrylic when I asked this before. I also decided to go with dipped powder. She was pretty quick, I was out in less than an hour. Overall the service was great. The store was also clean and have plenty of colors to choose from. I'm a big fan of this place! Here is why; Like everyone says, Tiffanie is amazing. She talks to you the whole time and gets to know you. She does amazing acrylics and I never walk out of here unsatisfied. And the price is just right too! If you're a girl on a budget I recommend this place! For a basic manicure, and nail polish plus massage it's $12. Yes, I said $12. For french tips it's $14, and I can't remember how much it is for acrylics or gels so I will update soon! I promise! Julia.. AMAZING. She's so sweet and does a mean pedicure. I always opt for the massage chairs while I get my pedicure done and french tips. My usual plus massage was always around $20 including my tip. Julia is funny and did my nails for jr. and senior prom and gave me tips on where to buy curlers so my hair would be as bouncy and as cute as hers! PS I swear by these curlers now ;) When walking into Perfect 1... don't expect the interior to look like some mega posh spa, I won't lie it looks like the place needs some TLC but it isn't unsanitary at all! A think just a little paint and some pictures would give it a nice face lift- but I'm here to review on the service not interiors. This place is like "walking into a little box of Godiva chocolates" (can't take credit for this, thanks Cheryl!). The place is painted in warm chocolate and gold stripes with sweet people to top it off. But when you look at the outside it doesn't look like much, once inside it is a well lit, warm and clean establishment. We made an appointment before going to Perfect 1 Nails (highly recommend you make an appointment, but they do take walk-ins). It is an extremely busy but well organized nail shop. We got the basic pedicure and it was EXCELLENT, it included a warm foot bath, exfoliate, massage, warm towels and finally the toe nail painting. It was heavenly! What made it really special was that Hannah and Lynn made us feel welcomed, many places make you feel uncomfortable with the stony-face-look-hurry-up-upgrade-upgrade-to-a-more-expensive-pedicure-while-I-talk-to-my-colleague-in-a-disgruntled-undertone. It was so nice that the ladies here were sweet and warm, engaging us in conversation but in a non-invasive and polite way. Overall, the service was great, the facility was clean (you can see where they disinfect the tools that they use AND they cleaned out the foot baths after we were done), the price was just right. Ok so I went and say Tiffanie and she did an awesome job. Spoke english very well, and was able to hold a conversation with me. Sure the place is a little hard to find, and the parking was tight and the inside of the place wasn't great at all, but the service made up for it. When I walked in one lady greeted me, all the nail techs were helping a customer, and she said it would be a few minutes, so I sat down and read some magazines, not long after, Tiffanie greeted me and did an awesome job on my nails, and it didn't hurt my wallet either. I just want to say since I have switched from Happiness Nails, where I thought I would always be Happy to Perfect ! nails I couldn't be more Happier. I only get regular manicures or Gel Manicures and Pedicures. I left Happiness Nails because after 6 months of Gel Manicures, my nails stated splitting and tearing (with the Gel on). My own nails didn't grow back and become strong for at least 5 months. When I switch to here, its because my mom gets Acrylics done by Lynn. So I decided to give it a try. Lynn was busy so I Tammy did my nails and someone else did my Pedicure. I have had 3 or 4 different girls do my Pedicures since switching to Perfect 1. But I always have Lynn or Tammy do my Gel Manicures. I am happy to say that I have been coming for about 6 months and my nails are in great shape and I took a break and had no polish for about 6 weeks and my nails continued to grow without tearing or ripping. Its clean, everyone is friendly and its nice to go into a place where people know you. It makes you feel welcome. I've been coming here for years. The girls are all really sweet. I pay $53 for a regular pedicure and gel manicure, which I think is normal. Pros: Massage chairs. So many colors to pick from in gel, glitter and regular polish. Clean. Many stations and girls to work on what you want. A few pedicure choices.. wax, scrubs, masks and/or hot stones. Cons: Cash only. Walk in are welcome, but you will be told to come back later. Sometimes it's hard to understand with the language barrier, but they are all nice. This isn't one of those places where you're going to get crazy fun nail art.. which is on its way out anyway. And the biggest issue, why I took away a star.. Parking. It's awful. They have like 2 spots and all the rest, someone will come out from the surrounding businesses and threaten to tow you. Not nice! read more

I have been a customer here for going on 5 years. They do the best pedicures and manicures that I have ever come across. Manicure - I have terrible nails, thin and badly shaped, so I have always liked having the tips/acrylics put on. Until I started coming here, I would only get them at the holidays. They would lift and have to be replaced rather than filled every other visit. Took a toll on my already horrible nails. The way they do nails here is completely different from any other place I've ever gone. I get the "Gel Nails" and literally only go every third week for a fill! My nails look great the entire time! Now I have my nails done and looking fabulous all year long. Pedicure - The massage chairs are getting a bit old but the massage that the girls do on my legs and feet more than make up for that! I love having my toes look pretty but honestly, I go for the leg massage. Hot stones, paraffin.... they do the whole nine yards. Someone else mentioned the fact that they remember your name. So true! It's amazing to me that they can do that. Wish I knew the secret so I could apply it to my own life! LOL! As for who to ask for, I go to Lynn for my nails but have gone to some of the others when she'e not available. I have never been disappointed. Lynn's the owner and really good/fast at what she does. I've been looking for a place to get my nails done closer to the office. I checked out Yelp, called and booked an appt. that day. I was very impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the salon. I sat down with a gal named "My". She was very nice, and easy to talk to. During our conversation she continued to call me by name, and I'll bet when I come back in a few weeks she will remember me. They seemed to know everyone's names. That's a nice personal touch. So back to my nails. I always do the standard French manicure (gel). It's quite the process. All of the sanding, and filling, and sanding, and sanding..... and you guessed it Sanding! So the first thing I always fear with these electric nail files is getting your cuticle zapped by it and then bleed. Well I'm happy to say that "My" didn't have one slip up. It was 100% painless. Also the lines that she made for my French tips were PRECISION! She shaped them perfectly and I just can't stop looking at my nails. Also to top it off, she was able to shave 30 minutes off the time it took at my old nail salon. So all in all, I am very happy, and I am looking forward to going back! Thanks My! Oh, and if there is one downfall (and there is really just one), is that they don't take credit cards at this salon. They will take checks, but I never carry my check book. I needed a simple mani/pedi and found "Perfect 1 Nails" through Yelp. It wasn't too busy, so when I walked-in without an appointment on a Thursday at around 3:00, I was helped immediately. Linda did a fantastic job! The whole session did not feel rushed at all. She was very meticulous with my cuticles, going over them twice to make sure they were smooth. The foot massage with hot stones, scrubs, hot towels, bath salts, lotions was very nice. The nail polish application was very professional and not botchy at all. I usually opt for getting a french on my toes and not everyone does a good job --- Tina did a great job all around. Even though I still love Tami my regular manicurist in Cupertino I also really like Perfect 1 Nails. I popped in here after a very stressful day at work - that's the best time to get a mani-pedi right? The ladies are very friendly. They make sure that you are comfortable and relaxed during your mani-pedi. The lady next to me was so comfortable that she dozed off as they continued to remove her previous gel manicure while letting her rest. The reason I chose this place is because they give you a hot stone massage, which feels really good. Both Kathy and the other lady who helped me with my mani gave me a nice leg and arm massage, which I really appreciate especially being preggers and all. The biggest difference between Perfect 1 Nails and Hue St. Salon with Tami is the nail polish. Perfect 1 Nails has your salon standards like Opi which aren't as fancy as Hue St. In addition, Tami always makes good color recommendations at Hue St. but to be fair I didn't ask for color recommendations here, so I may do that next time. read more

I have had nothing but great expierences here. Tiffanie is absolutely amazing! Of course, I only go to Tiffanie! She really does a flawless job and I am VERY picky with my nails! My nails look so natural when shes done. The prices are more than fare.... My full gel set only cost me 30 bucks after tip! Aborn Nails charges 38 bucks for a full gel set and the quality is NO where near as good! Tiffanie is also VERY clean, I have been to many other places where people answer the phone with their hands while they are doing your nails and the lady here wears a headset. This place is under construction so it does look unfinished but not ran down at all. There are a couple of girls that I will admit are not nearly as good as Tiffianie, so that may lead to a not so good expierence, but where ever you go theres always people who are better than the others. My new favorite nail salon!! I love everything about this place. I was referred here by my sister who told me how much she loves this place. After going with her I am convinced. Once you enter the door you're greets so nicely and warmly by a young lady sitting in the front. I had no wait for a pedicure. I got the gel predicate and callous removal. Only $49 total! And they give you a 15 minute massage with hot stones and paraffin wax. They take their time trimming your cuticles and trimming/shaping your nails. I used to go to a place near my house but I get my hair done next door and walked in to try a manicure. I got Linda and was impressed by how fast and well she got my nails done. She suggested to try the gel nails and I am completely hooked now. Instead of my nails being fragile and chipping after max 7days, these lasted for 16 and only because the nails started to grow out, otherwise I could have kept them even for longer. I got the red glitter and received many compliments as they are super shiny and full of sparkle. Second time back with Linda to repeat the red glitter gel nails and simultaneously received a fabulous pedicure by Tina. Tina added a hot lotion massage and hot wax softening treat and hot towels, I skipped the great smelling foot scrub only because I just got a spray tan yesterday for an upcoming event....My feet and whole body felt pampered. Their massage chairs also work very well and relaxing. The place looks clean and everyone is very friendly. The staff also doesn't bug you with the standard small talk questions which I know is well intended by some other places but if you get asked every single time if you're married and have kids it gets old...and they are very tuned in whether or not their customers are in the mood to chat or prefer some quiet time. Made an appointment for shellac manicure and spa pedicure the day before. When I got there they seated me in a chair and the pedicure wasn't done in the massage chair. They said they only had time to do what I wanted together. (What was the point of making an appointment?) The manicurist (Julie) complained that my nails were too short during my manicure and how much easier it is with long nails. She painted the shellac on my cuticles on a few nails and now they will peel. When I pointed it out she kept right on going without fixing it. Sad face. My pedicurist (Kathy) did great at painting but gave me a very bland foot massage which is the main reason we get pedicures right? I paid $50 for both services and tipped each of them $5. After reading several reviews I decided to check out Perfect Nails. I went in for a pedicure and walked right in. Tina was the lovely gal who handled my toes. She did a great job. She was super friendly and we talked the entire time. She asked my name and took a genuine interest. They have TONS of colors to choose from and it was very clean. The pedicure was very responsibly priced. For $23 I got a pedicure, hot stone massage, paraffin wax and a leg massage---not bad all. After going to a few other places in the South Bay I think I have found my new regular salon to visit. They do not accept cards--just check or cash so come prepared.
