The office has been completely turned over--new staff, new doctor, and a completely different (and disappointing) approach to patient care. I arrived for my biannual cleaning only to find out the office had changed hands with zero notice. If you get a text asking to fill out "New Patient Information," be warned: they are treating everyone as a brand-new patient to justify unnecessary procedures. The Red Flags: Redundant X-rays: Even though I had X-rays done just last year, they insisted on taking them again immediately. Unprofessional Environment: The new doctor didn't introduce himself and was wearing a gray sweatshirt instead of scrubs or professional clinical attire. It felt very casual and unorganized. Aggressive Sales Pitch: Instead of focusing on my cleaning, I was bombarded with "treatment plans" and pressured into a consult with their in-house endodontist. It felt more like a sales pitch than a check-up. Rough Procedure: The cleaning itself was a nightmare. The doctor was not gentle--I experienced multiple painful numbing injections for a routine cleaning and significant bleeding. The suction was poorly managed, and the whole experience was worlds away from the care Dr. Sean used to provide. I felt completely blindsided. If you valued the gentle, professional care of the previous practice, you might want to look elsewhere. I will be canceling my follow-up and finding a new dentist who prioritizes patient comfort over upselling.

I was anxious about the procedure since it's basically minor surgery with sutures, bone grafts and whatnot, but he and the rest of his team really put me at ease. He gave me plenty of numbing agent and I didn't really feel anything except my jaws were getting sore from keeping my mouth open lol. Overall I think it took less than 30 minutes for the first procedure. Dr Baek was really professional and kept asking if I was ok. The teeth cleaning was smooth and easy too. The dental hygienist was confident, informative and and also good at communicating. I was very pleased with her work and will schedule a follow up in 6 months. The best thing about the office was the dental assistants and hygienist did a very good job of sucking out excess saliva and liquids during each procedure. As long as I can remember, I always felt like I was choking on my spit at every dentist I've ever been to but this place does a good job of keeping me from gagging. Overall a really great and smooth procedure. The implant procedure will take about 3 months total. I will follow up with more feedback if anything changes. Otherwise I highly recommend this place!

It made me wonder would she treat a non-minority the same way she treated me. I understand they have their own limitations, but to be treated so nonchalantly with lack of compassion is the upsetting part. Are bedside manners nonexistent now? I understand people have their off days, but this was completely unacceptable. Maybe consider another field if helping people doesn't bring you any sense of fulfillment. I will be reaching out to speak with a manager if possible.

We figured get him seen then will go to a Memorial Urgent Care for me since I normally go to Long Beach Memorial Urgent Cares. I called to ask if they can do labs and testing she said YES. She said on the phone they could do a blood draw and test for potassium overload. When I got there she said I needed to be evaluated and the dr. Would decide if I needed to be tested. I ask how long would results take and she said 3 to 5 days it goes to a third party lab. So NO YOU DON'T DO LABS!! If you lie to me once you don't get a second chance. I will be looking somewhere else for my urgent care needs. Training is key. UPDATE: The response isn't what I was told. It wasn't a miscommunication problem. Your girl, I came in contact with needs training. She is the first person the public comes in contact with. I don't remember her name but I remember her attitude. I ask specifically if you did labs and testing her answer was NO we send it to a third party. So Instead of leaving an advertisement for your business in the response you should use your time to train your staff. I don't need to discuss this further you know what you need to do.

After looking up numerous facilities I came across "La Palma Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine" in the city of La Palma,. The one FABULOUS thing that differed from other facilities was that they do massage therapy along with you doing your exercise program. None of the other places I reviewed offered message therapy which made a big difference on how I was progressing. I had the pleasure of having Mary and Nancy as my physical therapists. I've told them both they have the "magic hands" that have facilitated in my recovery immensely. This facility cares about you getting better and I highly recommend them.
