If your insurance makes you go to one of these places change dentists. It was our only option because our regular dentist didn't take Cigna dental. I went in to get one of my annual teeth cleanings as I have my entire life. Instead I went through more X-rays than were necessary and then was told I needed a deep cleaning which even after ins would be e see Evers $100s of dollars. Took me off guard as I had had no problems with my teeth. When I said I couldn't make that kind of decision on the spot and just wanted a regular cleaning they refused to give me one. They try to scare you into doing things you most likely don't need. We ended up paying out of pocket and went back to our dentist. If you go here because you don't have insurance you would be better off paying a regular dentist out of pocket rather than this place. Going to the dentist makes most people nervous, but I didn't feel that way after my first appointment here. The waiting area is kept clean and they were ready for me exactly at my appointment time. Things went by quickly and I told the hygienist of my fear of painful flossing. She made sure I was comfortable and kept asking to make sure I was okay. I was given numbing gel upon request because of my sensitive gums, and the flossing and cleaning wasn't painful or uncomfortable. Then a quick wait for the dentist to check out my teeth. So far, so good. Have been here a few times and have been impressed with everyone, from the front staff to the dental hygienists. Dr. D is wonderful! And he has a very gentle touch while working on teeth, which is very appreciated. The office is clean and conveniently located. They take hygiene and cleanliness seriously and changed their gloves numerous times, and I totally appreciated their attention to this detail! They also have lots of cool high tech gadgets like the x-ray machines that take instant x-rays that show up seconds later. Pretty cool... I don't usually give 5 stars. I visited Perfect Teeth at Wilmot/Speedway for the first time today, and was treated very well. The office staff is friendly and helpful, even offering bottled water to everyone in the waiting room. I was there for a checkup and cleaning, and Diana helped me with x-rays (both digital and film), and setting me up in the chair - she was very polite and friendly. Marisol cleaned my teeth, and she's a delight. Gentle, no-nonsense and a great sense of humor. She even gave me a topical anesthetic for my gums, before the cleaning. Love her. Dr. Dino Drummer has a warm manner, and was very patient explaining everything to me. I would trust him to take good care of me, should I need work done. Everyone there seemed genuinely interested in taking care of their patients, and were up front about the cost for my treatment options, both before and after insurance, and pressured me not at all to sign up for anything in the moment. This clinic was recommended to me by someone currently working at a different clinic (which doesn't take my insurance,) and she was right: these people gave wonderful service and I am excited to have found a dentist I won't dread visiting. Perfect Teeth has an amazing staff. I was so impressed with everyone I had contact with and asked to speak with the office manager, Jay. I spoke with him about my experience and could give nothing less than a glowing report. He appreciated my feedback. I have referred a few people and they are very happy that I did. Dr. Dino is the best dentist I have ever encountered. I will be a Perfect Teeth patient as long as I live in Tucson. Nice people but way over priced. They charged me $278 for a "deep cleaning" on half of my teeth. Thankfully I was able to go back to my regular dentist that finished the job for $56. Also not happy that I later got another bill from them for $20 that somehow got added on. Not sure to what since there was no explanation. So, nice office but, nice doesn't help if your on a budget. read more

I discovered Perfect Teeth on Speedway several years ago, and it is there my flag is planted. Competent and professional, my primary requisites, are they. First visit was incredible. I am thrilled with the whole process. After having a dental problem for the past three years and dreading going to the dentist, I found the best dentist ever.. he put my mind at ease, fixed the situation in seconds and sent me off at no charge feeling ten times better and filled with encouragement. My wife went in to get a second opinion reference some dental work that she had done elsewhere. The staff in general was amazing. They were able to get her in the same day and were really sympathetic. Both the dentist and dental assistant took a significant amount of time to address our concerns even staying with us after they closed. Since the reason we were seeking a second opinion was due to poor service and work from the original dentist we were both actually amazed when we were treated so well here. We both felt like they really didn't care about anything else except for making my wife feel better regardless of who did the work or who got paid. This office is awesome!!! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. In the past, I had the most difficult time finding a dentist that could get in a timely manner and take care of my cavities and replacement crown needs. This office was able to accommodate me right away. I called on a Friday and they were able to see me the very next week. Dr. Schmidtke is amazing. A trip to the dentist is simply expensive. I searched online and on the phone for hours before settling on Perfect Teeth. They have a $95/year discount service plan and posted prices that saved me money on the first visit. I had a chance to compare prices and they are quite competitive. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. They drew up a treatment plan in stages so I could accept or refuse services. When I refused a crown and elected extraction, they gave me no grief and gave an accurate quote. I also want to add that the dentist was probably the most pain free dentist I have ever experienced. Had my first and last experience here because of one particular staff member. I went to Perfect Teeth on speedway because one of my teeth was giving me extreme pain. The doctor was gentle and helpful however his assistant Julie made me feel extremely uncomfortable. She was loud and rude when explaining things. Her overall presence was unnerving. She was aggressive when examining my mouth/taking x-rays. So much so that my mouth was sore upon leaving. It's a shame that a nice office like that is tainted with such an unpleasant person. read more

Sorry, I'm not impressed with this place. 2 1/2 hours of my afternoon total time(!) waiting for a 10 minute consult and more waiting for the injections, then still more waiting for a 30 minute procedure. Well guess, what more waiting to pay-up. They left me in a tiny, lifeless, BORING dental "suite" with no TV, nothing to read and no indication of when the dentist will take care of ME. In fact she (Dr. Iskandar) took off during MY time to treat TWO other patients at approx. a half hour each while I sat and stared at nothing! It is nerve wracking enough to have to undergo periodontal surgery without having to wait so much and get myself all worked up. The local anesthetic (numbing) was painful and dentistry has YET to find a painless topical to be used preceding injections. Ok, the staff is pleasant in a business sort of way, but no one made me feel important or made any attempt to get to know me. I was just continually addressed as "sir" instead of by my first name. What should I do - call them "ma'am"? If I had known, I would have strongly considered elsewhere. read more
