HORRIBLE STAFF!! My fiancé took my truck here and paid $39.95 for a Smog check they failed because there was a piece of tape on my air intake boot. The tape had been left from a previous mechanic and was purely cosmetic wasn't even covering anything (I ripped it off immediately after). Then I went back at 4:35pm and was told "we don't do Amiga after 4:30". So I said I wanted to make an appointment and ask a few questions. The guy rudely replied "we don't make appointments so when ever you get here you get here. Now what's your question?" I asked how I could fail because of a piece of misplaced tape and how much is it for a retest? His response was "it's not or fault your not smart enough to look under your own hood before bringing it here and it's $25 to retest." Needless to say is rather pay another $40 then deal with the horrible service from this place! read more

My husband's little Jeep wound up with a dead battery on Friday, October 16, 2020. I drove over to the bank parking lot and waited with him for the tow truck driver to see what was really wrong with the car. We suspected a dead battery, but neither one of us are any where near being smart with mechanical things or even tools. 'Darren' arrived in a sparkly clean and detailed truck and sporting a mask (as were we), gave us the verdict: A very dead battery. Neither one of us had tools to remove the old battery (so we could take my car to get a new one), so Darren took the old battery out, showed my husband how to install a new one, and gave my husband a pair of gloves (to handle the dead battery) and a small wrench that had been left and never claimed from a years past call to install the new battery. I felt like crying. Darren went on his way, we made it to the auto store and back, and my husband installed the new battery with the wrench. Thank you, Darren. Called to get a flat tire changed. They said they'd be 30 minutes. Ok. After 10 minutes I went to my car to unload the trunk to get to the spare tire. They the guy comes FLYING around the corner so fast I cant flag him down. I call him and he said "I called you twice and Im now on another job and not coming back." WOW. They contract with Geico, who also got a call from me. This is unacceptable. read more

This review is long overdue! I just wanted to give the guys at Performance a 5 star review because not only are they great people, but they deserve it! Everyone here is so nice and caring, and offer the most top notch service possible. I have been coming here for the past year by recommendation and they have helped me out so much with getting my vehicle where it needs to be; drivable! Unfortunately, I was given a car that was never maintained properly by my beloved family, so I experience many frustrating issues while driving. What I appreciate most about Performance is that they are completely honest and straight forward about their work -- they are NOT one of those shops that just want to take advantage of you & add on a bunch of other services for more money. They even helped out my boyfriend this past winter and got his 1979 Firebird to pass smog... Not an easy task I'm sure, but it got done! I wouldn't go anywhere else, and I am forever recommending Performance to everyone I know. read more
