My car had gotten repair estimates from the Mossy Nissan dealership that would be $2,186 and Angel did the repairs at about half the price. Really nice folks! I was busy doing some yard work at home when I realized I needed to get the smog check done TODAY!!! It was already 2 pm so I called to see what time they closed. I figured I had a couple hours to work my way there. Oops!!! They closed at 1 pm. Quick, easy, and simple smog check. Definitely would recommend. Prices for the smog checks are listed in their office, so there's no worries about getting jipped. I tried calling the day before to see if I had to make an appointment, but for smog checks, it's all first-come, first-serve. I was able to take the car in early on Friday morning, and I would definitely recommend coming in early. In the 15-20 minutes I was there, six cars got in line for smog checks. Clean waiting area but only has three chairs, so you might have to stand or wait in your car if you've got a lot of people ahead of you. The place can be a little difficult to find. If you try to use Google Maps as navi, make the turn on to that small road and keep driving straight - past the gate, all the way to the back right corner. Don't forget to bring in the coupon from their website! It's $5 off your smog check. One other small thing: When I called the day before the smog check, the guy on the phone gave me a price estimate that was $10 more expensive than the price advertised in their office. Please note you are allowed to take your car to any shop after they run diagnostics. By the way, when they "Run Diagnostics" it is a manual man test, not purely computer so there is no guess work and run it from scratch! Came in on a Saturday and surprisingly no wait! Actually Jesus was who helped me and he was working on a car repair but said he said he could take care of my car first since it would be fast! And it was- in and out in 15-20 minutes. Very clean and nice waiting room. It might be a little hard to find; once you turn into the area it's located, you'll see a Mexican food place and you just keep going straight through a gate and you'll see recycling places and actually two smog centers.
