After taking my car to the dealership numerous times and not getting my car properly diagnosed I decided to take my car to Greg @ Performance Dynamic. I emailed him and wasn't expecting a reply for a few days as I was used to terrible communication from the dealer, Greg emailed me back not 3 hours later! I was surprised when he explained what he was doing to the car. After a test drive and MHD datalog, Greg was able to find that my Boost Solenoid was failing! After months of loaners and bad service, I was so happy to have finally gotten a good diagnosis. After that, I asked if he could tighten up some bolts on his lift for me and he did so without question all while explaining how he began his career in BMWs. His passion and workmanship is top-notch and Greg is trained by some of the best in the industry including Dinan! Greg is a great dude who is passionate about cars and not only fixed my car, but also helped persuade me to continue pursuing my passion for cars in school. Choosing a shop to bring you car can certainly be a stressful process, but I couldn't recommend this shop more or be more grateful for its existence. You can tell from the second you walk in that your car will be in good hands. The overall atmosphere inside is very welcoming and the gentleman at the front desk bring the experience full circle with their attention to detail and superior level of customer support that I feel is uncommon in the auto shop industry. Jose was able to troubleshoot a seemingly complex issue with my girlfriend's car in a matter of seconds, and the repair was remarkably done in the same day. I drive an hour just to use this service, which can make it difficult for me to get there during business hours, but they were very understanding when it took an extra day or two for me to retrieve the vehicle. I needed an oil change and all four brake pads and rotors replaced on my 2021 Porsche Macan GTS. I first heard about this shop many years ago when I owned an F30, and knew they mainly specialized in BMWs. I gave them a call anyway, and to my surprise, they service Porsches as well. When I asked for a quote, both Matt and Jose were super friendly and straight-forward. There was no "come by the shop so we can check what brakes you need, etc". They asked for my VIN and they provided a quote same-day. I'm the type to be very picky and detailed with my cars, but I felt very comfortable handing them the keys. They use OEM parts and high-performance Motul oil, and both parts and labor were priced very fairly. Throughout the day, Matt informed me of the work progress; I never once had to call or ask for updates. It has been a couple weeks since my service, and the car performs great! I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to my friends, and will definitely be back to service my car in the future. read more

"OMG... that thing sounds really, really, tight and without being "over the top" obnoxious; pulls super nice as well. Super fun even with the traction control on and is exactly the HP upgrade desired. Can't thank you guys enough with only one exception... not sure how long I'll be able to tolerate driving my car now" ... this was my message sent to Zach and Greg as they had helped us with a failing Turbo waste gate on my son's car. They were quick to accurately diagnose the problem, report back to us and provide us with a very fair estimate (that they met!). The competence is so high there that shop rates become irrelevant, not sure what they even are. They do a job other shops had quoted at about 17 hours; they pulled it off in 10 and the financial math becomes pretty simple ($7,000 vs $4,400). These guys are the best. I'm sick and tired of those untrustworthy mechanics that nickel and dime you for everything. Performance Dynamic is not ones of those places. Greg and his team had amazing customer service from when I dm'd them on instagram to giving them a call for my appointment. They are super nice and friendly people that have a passion for working on cars. They made adding all my information in on their website super easy, as all I did was comment what work I needed performed, and in 1 day I got an email back that had a full breakdown on the parts and labor. I really like how Greg and his team chose Liqui Moly Oil (5w-40) from the start, as it shows that they are ones to put the highest quality parts and attention to your car. I have two older BMWs (2002 and 2003) that have required extensive work. Despite the generally high cost of car repairs in the peninsula (partially due to inflated property values and rents as well as inflation), I was very impressed with the staff's integrity: their professionalism, technical/mechanical competence, friendliness, sincerity, and honesty. It is obvious that being able to trust an auto repair business and its mechanics/staff is important to every customer, and I can say that they have earned my trust. The staff went above and beyond in their efforts to solve a very difficult SMOG and catalytic converter issue for my 2002 wagon as well as significant repairs for my 2003 SUV. After hearing about Performance Dynamic through a couple of buddies in the car community and even my BMW dealership tech, I took my F30 335i to Greg for some performance upgrades. Would give 10 stars if I could. I've had my fair share of experiences with shops due to owning an N54, but this was by far the best. Greg is incredibly personable and knowledgeable. You can definitely tell that he loves what he does and treats every customer properly. Scheduled to get a check engine light checked out and flush the brake fluid. They charged an hour of labor to fix the wiring for the engine code, and informed me the brake fluid was perfectly fine.
