Highly recommend for anyone getting their car lifted! I bought the Journey Offroad 2" lift kit for my Highlander and contact a bunch of shops in the SF Bay Area for a quote for installation. One of the shops I reached out to was Flex Function. Straight from the first phone call, Jerry showed me how much he cared about and valued their customer. Even though they haven't installed a Journey lift kit before, they are aware of the brand and have tons of experience with installing other kits and even modifying cars. On the call, Jerry looked through the Journey lift kit product page and reviewed the installation procedure and very clearly communicated to me everything I need to know about the procedure. I received a quote and made an appointment with them for the following week. I could tell the whole crew including Jerry, Thomas, Koi, and other folks, loved and cared deeply about what they do. I definitely made the right decision going with them for the install, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their Highlander or other cars lifted.

I was researching off road shops for months before I even had any money. The time finally came where I was ready, so I started to reach out to a few local shops in the east bay to ask questions and get some information but many either didn't have the time or didn't want to help new customers. I then started looking outside of my local area and started sending out emails. Thomas was super helpful and recommended a few options within my budget. I finally pulled the trigger on his recommendations. I had originally installed the Bilstein 5100 all around on my 5th gen 4Runner but is was sagging due to added weight. So I went with Bilstein 6112 (heavy load) with SPC UCA's and 5100 in the rear with Dobinson's 325 coils. Effectively giving me a 2.5 front/2.0 rear and the truck came out EXACTLY how I wanted. The guys even went as far as to loan me a set of rear coils till my new coils came in and notched the aftermarket front skid plate because my KDSS was hitting it. I didn't even expect that level of customer service, it completely blew me away. Thank you guys for the awesome experience, You definitely will get my repeat business!

There was no way I would pay the dealer's marked up price for an oil change and brake fluid flush. My warranty just expired for my BMW M4. Before this, I get my services done at Stevens Creek BMW. That is where I met Thomas. He worked on my car for the last 2 years and provided honest feedbacks and recommendations after every services. Last time I dropped off my car at Stevens Creek, he mentioned to me that he's opening his own shop and I couldn't be happier to know that there is an honest mechanic out there starting up his own business. I texted Thomas and he was able to squeezed me in with a short noticed. My first thought was the shop may not be busy since it is new. Well I was wrong. When pulled up to the shop, they had 5 cars ahead of me. I got to see many nice BMW and Porsches. While I sat in the nice AC waiting room while waiting for my car to be worked on, I can see through the glass door how Thomas meticulously service my car. Not only he worked on what I came for, he went through all of the inspections and also aired all the tires. I had a chance to meet his co-owner Jerry. It turns out he was a long time mechanic at Honda. Now I know where to bring my wife's accord to. I love supporting local businesses and I know they will do well. I didn't get to take picture of my car while it was on the lift but here's one of the customer's nice Porsche.

Timing belt & water pump replacement completed
    Jerry H.

Brought my car here for timing belt, water pump, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs replacement, and wheel alignment. Thomas went the extra mile and replaced some hoses and plug connectors that were damaged due to aging (car has 250k miles). Also fixed my leaking coolant issue. Competitive prices, honest work, super knowledgeable, clean shop, and friendly. What more can you ask for? Highly recommended.

    After lowering springs install

Was a little skeptical about coming to an off road spot for my ev. But they work on everything! Was looking for a spot to do an alignment since I had all 4 tires replaced. Flex function was extremely responsive and quick to do the job. No questions about who I wanted yo install my lowering springs and do another alignment. Great work!

Came in for a dct service and Thomas went out of his way to find extra leaks on my e90 m3. Turn around time and service was great!

I only take my 2022 Ram 3500 Limited to Flex Function for my automotive needs. Jerry and Thomas are real ones in the automotive repair industry.

These guys are phenomenal. I have been to many shops over the past 15 years and Thomas and Jerry are hands down the best. They have worked on my 2021 Gen 3 raptor multiple times, which have included installing collars and spacers, mounting and balancing tires, installing springs and performing alignment. I don't trust anyone else with my truck. You won't find any place that cares about their customers and the work they perform more than FlexFunction. These guys are honest and the real deal!

I walked up to a man who was at another register, his name tag stated his name is Didier N, and attempted to show him a picture on my phone of the radiator fluid I was looking for. I asked him if he could tell me where I could find the item. He would not look at me or my phone and rudely told me to get in line. I explained I was just asking if they carried this fluid and if he could point me in the direction it was located. Again he pointed at the other register and abruptly told me to get in line. I was getting frustrated and asked him if he could just look at the picture and tell me if they carry the fluid. He then said "NO ENGLISH"!!! I was absolutely shocked. He had no problems speaking to me in ENGLISH to go to the next register and get in line. I am a white female. I'm not one to throw around the "R" word lightly but this was very clearly racism. This wasn't just poor service and rude behavior, this was racism at its ugliest. If this young man was in the middle of helping someone else (Keep in mind, they had just opened the door a couple seconds prior) or even if he was helping someone waiting on the phone he could have said he was busy helping someone but he didn't. He was just refusing to help ME, a white female. I walked out and drove down the street to AutoZone. There were two lovely people working, one happened to be an African American young man and a lovely Latino woman, and I told them about what had just happened. They were both as shocked as I was and the young woman was the first to say that was racism. There was no reason for this young man to treat me this way, I was very polite and just was asking to be pointed in the direction of the transmission fluid I needed. That's it. He refused to even look at me. He was refusing to serve me because I was a white female. This is just my two cents.....everyone has to STOP hating on people. Hate only deteriorates your soul. It serves no purpose and produces NOTHING positive. You don't have to agree with someone but you do have to treat them with kindness and respect. Everyone has become so self absorbed and fighting for what they want, they become blind and stomp on the beautiful souls around them. When did we stop having conversations? Maybe just try to have a conversation and learn what the other person is like and what they actually believe, not just what you're assuming, you might end up liking the person and making a new friend. I know it's a crazy concept, but I've seen it work before. We all have to stop hating, otherwise ya'll are just going to end up killing each other and what is that going to prove?? Hate will make you a mental health patient, love will make you a human being. Just my 2 cents.
