I went in very frustrated with my 2015 Mazda that I was driving. I had purchased a Honda once before and absolutely loved it. My Mazda was leased and still had a couple of years left on it. George Tierney helped me get out of my lease and was still able to keep my payments at a great price! He is a salesman who doesn't act like a salesman. You never feel pressured or uncomfortable about making a decision. It's like you're talking to a friend! Now thanks to George, I drive a 2015 Honda Accord Sport and could not be happier!!! read more

I've been dreading buying a new car, because of how long it takes and the exhausting process of negotiating, etc. On the other hand, I was driving around a 22 year old car, so it was only a matter of time... So when my car bit the dust on Monday, I was super stressed out and couldn't figure out how I was going to research prices, test drive, and work, let alone how I was going to get around while doing that! I requested a few quotes online and Kings came in the lowest, and it was the closest to my work, so I went over there on a long lunch break to do a test drive. I met with Bob, who had sent me the quote online, and we went on a test drive, and he told me that they actually had the car I wanted on the lot, so if I wanted we could get everything tied up that day. But, I had to go back to work. When we got back to the showroom, Bob, and Nate, the Internet sales manager, told me that I could fill out the application and get approved while I was at work and come back after work to finalize! That was the best news ever. I only spent a total of maybe 2 hours at the dealership, one hour during the initial meeting and test drive, and another that evening to sign the papers and drive away in my new Civic! Bob is so great at what he does. He has been in the business for almost 30 years, is a great listener and is able to anticipate your needs in the car buying process. I was also really impressed with the deal I got without any negotiations! Bob and Kings Honda have changed my perception of the hassle of buying a car. I recommend them to everyone. read more

On 2/06/20 I purchased a used 08 Tahoe from Performance Kings Honda. As I drove the vehicle home I could smell gas. Two weeks later I was having new tires installed and the mechanic informed me the vehicle had a bad gas pump that was leaking gas. I asked him if it was dangerous to drive and he said yes. I visited Kings Honda several times hoping they would help me fix it. All I was given was a verbal estimate of around $1300 to replace the fuel pump. I had the pump replaced elsewhere for $800. When I contacted the general manager of Performance Kings Honda to inform him that they sold me an unsafe vehicle he offered me "$50 or $100" for my trouble. In March I filled a complaint with the BBB and after about 3 months the general manager offered me $460 for the cost of the pump. By then I was pretty much over it so I agreed. That was almost 1 month ago and still no check. I do not recommend this dealership read more

I just bought New car at King Honda. I didn't have much time to take a look of the back window On that day. In my point of view, it is supported to install the window perfectly as a brand new car. When I found out the window is not even, I told one of manager and told him about my concern and he promised to fix it for me and told me to bring the car home. After I brought home and I brought it back to fix it. They said it is Honda perimeter. I really disappointed if they can't fix it, why they said "yes" and let me bring the car home. Are you happy at all if you buy a new with crooked window? Are you willing to buy a brand new with crooked window? I don't expect that they rejected my request to fix that window after they promised to fix it. Do you think is a good thing to treat your customer like that? Do you think you trust the car dealership like that? You have lost another customer!!!! read more

We went to buy a used car - the sales woman did a great job, and I was ready to buy the car. Then a financial guy came over to finalize the price, and he pulled every sleazy car dealer trick that they have. It was so stereotypical that it was actually comical. He tried to say that if we didn't buy right away, "the car would be gone tomorrow because the price just dropped and we cannot save used cars for people..." even though we were planning on buying the car. And that financing through them is much more convenient and less expensive (for them), Etc. Etc. They sell a lot of cars, so I don't think they care much about customer service. They do whatever it takes to make the sale, even if that means manipulating and flat out lying to the customers. read more

We had purchased a 2015 Odyssey earlier this year and unfortunately it kept having some frame/structure issues that were from when the van was built. (An almost unheard of problem) After a few attempts to fix the problems we became very concerned for the safety of our family. We were very worried that if we were to be in an accident the van would not preform as it should and result in serious injury (or worse). After expressing our concerns with Jonathan he whole heartedly agreed that safety was of the upmost importance. Johnathan and Dustin worked with us and we are now driving a 2016 Odyssey with the piece of mind that our family is safe. This dealership tried to sabotage my car to say I had engine problems when I went there this morning for a trade-in estimate and price on a used Kia Soul that I saw on the Internet. My car was fine when I got there and I had just had it in the shop a few days before!! They said I needed $2,000 worth of work!! When I refused their cheap deal my tailpipe was smoking as I drove off!!!!! I immediately went to Jeff Wyler Kia where I had bought the car and had them check it out. Nothing wrong with engine!!!!!!! Beware if you are a woman at this dealership! They think you don't know anything. I had printouts from several other dealers for used cars, I knew what the trade-in value was and, as I said, I had just had the car at my mechanic fixing a cylinder wire and he made no mention of my car smoking!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!!! read more

I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing, and I wish I could give this dealership zero stars. The entire buying/leasing process has been nothing but a giant headache. I had to bring my 3 week old car back in because of an issue with the wheels (which were replaced when I leased the car because I was told there was "scuffing" on the rims - now I'm seeing the tire replacement on "new" cars is a pattern with other customers as well). After waiting an hour for the inspection, I was told that one of my wheels had to be replaced AGAIN, and that the parts had to be ordered and would not arrive until later in the week. I was also told that the loaner car wouldn't be available for another hour and a half. Apparently, only one person in the entire dealership knows how to schedule a loaner car, and not even the assistant manager "knows how to get a loaner car" for customers. To add to the frustration of this entire experience, the financing department did not correctly pay off the loan of my previous car and never returned my calls asking for assistance. Not only were they late with the payoff check, but they didn't pay the correct amount. I spent a week going back and forth with my credit union trying to sort it out (my credit union was actually very helpful), without the help of the Honda financing department - and I'm still out the money that they shorted when paying off my loan. I will never, ever buy or lease a car from this dealership again and will absolutely tell every person I know to do the same. Embarrassing customer service and quality of vehicles. Although I purchased an Accord from this dealership in 2010, today I wish I had never stepped foot in the place today. I was looking to trade a 2014 Mazda 6 for a new lease on a 2017 Accord. The specific details of our discussion are too detailed to include in this post, however the important thing for you to know is how poorly I was treated when I got there. The sales people were extremely dismissive and disrespectful to me when I told them what I was looking for. And they wanted to scan my driver's license and set the hook before they would provide ANY preliminary numbers to work with! Since the current car is in my wife's name, they were totally consumed with how soon she could get there to sign the car over. Can she get here tonight? How about tomorrow morning? I walked out in disgust before the snare could be closed. Very pushy and arrogant. If you are willing to be made to feel like crap as a customer, have at it. Never again for me. read more

So far, this has been a pretty crappy experience. While looking at a Certified* pre-owned Honda, and finding oversight after oversight and flaw after flaw, the dealer agreed to fix the issues (simple stuff like map lights not working, windshield wiper fluid not pumping, etc.) After negotiating a semi-reasonable price for a Certified* Pre-Owned Honda with trade in, I paid and left the dealer, only to return 30 minutes later when the gas door wouldn't open (I've never bought a vehicle where the dealer leaves you on empty, until now), the windshield wiper fluid wouldn't pump either. Seems they certify things by making check marks on a piece of paper, not by actually checking anything. They also gave me 1 key for my vehicle, and 1 key to a totally different vehicle. It has now been 6 days and I'm still trying to get another key. It seems the minute I paid my money, any and all customer service went out the window. The nice pleasant helpful salesmen turned into your normal used car schmucks. I'm now awaiting a call back to schedule an appointment to get the car looked at after a horrendous noise has started happening from the front right wheel area, on the 4th full day of ownership. I'll gladly update my review as things pan out, but so far, this has been one crappy experience. read more

I would have loved to give them negative rating but there is no provision of the same I had a very bad experience with the sales team here. Danny Cahill and Nate misbehaved with us during the purchase process of Honda CR-V . They disrespected me and my friend because their internet representative quoted an "out of door" price which was not acceptable to them. To bridge the gap of their profit margin they manipulated the finance team/system to get the kickback from the bank. They were rude from the moment I confirmed the color of the car as they didn't want to sell it at the price committed over email. Danny Cahill being the manager of store didn't treat us as a customer and was shouting at us using remarks like "Get Out" and "Shut Up" multiple times. During the entire discussion we maintained the composure and didn't cross the limit. We kept on asking the rationale of linking the sale price to financial terms for kickback and that irked them so go to an extent which crossed the line of decency. Danny Cahill gave his visiting card to us and in his arrogance told us do whatever we want to do .This is not expected out of representative of such a reputed brand like Kings Auto Mall. He could have easily told us that he won't be able to meet the documented "out of the door" price as there was a mistake on their part in communication and that would saved us waiting 3 hrs in their store and the humiliation. I am never going to buy a car from them and make every attempt to make sure none of my friends do any business with them. read more

We recently had a horrible experience with John DeLuca from this dealership. We got an appraisal from Honda East for our trade-in as well as a quote for leasing a new Honda CRV. We wanted to see if Kings Honda would beat their price. We told them exactly what Honda East quoted us at and wanted them to beat it. They told us to come to the dealership so that they could accurately appraise our car. I told John that we had very busy schedules and an 18 month old son, and that we would get there for an appraisal when we could. On a day off, my wife called John an hour ahead of time to let him know we were coming for the appraisal, knowing full well that we weren't actually going to buy/lease anything that day. We simply wanted a quote that could beat Honda East. Even though my wife repeatedly told them she was just there for an appraisal, they were extremely pushy and tried 3 different tactics to get her to sign the paperwork that day. The worst part was that she had our son with her, who, after awhile, just couldn't sit still any more. He was running around all over the place for 90 minutes while they got pushier and pushier. She clearly was not going to sign anything and got more and more frustrated as she was trying to keep him happy. We were ready to give them our business if they could beat the competitor's price. However, after her experience, my wife refused to ever go back. read more

I wish I'd read these reviews first! I have taken my car to Kings Honda since 2006. I suspected they 'hung parts' one other time but my husband convinced me that there was a possibility they didn't so I shouldn't complain. (Fool me once.) I went back bc it was convenient, but never again. Not here! I asked for and bought touch up paint for a small chip on the hood and chatted with the customer service gal about how I took care of my car, loved it, will be buying another Honda and passing this one on to a family member. I was there for recall work but they broke something and tried to get me to pay for it AGAIN! It was the weight sensors to the passenger seat, as they were working on the airbag system. When my airbag warning light went on they spent 15 minutes telling me it was fine, they'd plugged in the computer reader and the cars gave no error codes. Two people told me that bc I didn't want to drive my family without working airbags. I left the car with them so they could clear the warning light. It wouldn't shut off after half an hour. The gal told me that was normal. The next day they said the passenger seat weight safety over-ride sensor was broken and I had to pay for it. I argued until they paid for it because they'd told me there were no error codes, now suddenly there was one. WHAT?! They wrote off the cost of their error, but when I went to pick up my car it had been vandalized. I saw white smeared on the drivers side when I got it but I was so tired of arguing with them I left. I figured someone drove it into something. As much as I love it, and take care of it, it is old. I was looking at clear-coat damage and thinking I could buff some of it out. When I got home, I actually discovered that someone had gone all around my car scratching and chipping the paint everywhere. I just couldn't believe it. It seemed so hateful and for what? Because I argued and wouldn't accept paying for a small thing they broke during service? I was upset and stubborn but I hadn't been insulting. They even scratched up my headlamp plastic covers. Both of them. I'd just replaced the bulb days before and it wasn't there. It looks like they kept the car in a brush wash for an hour, the hood paint is bubbled, chipped, destroyed. This will rust. My car will not last because of this. I pay attention to it. I kept my car nice. They knew I cared about it because of the conversation and touch up paint. So they hit me where it would hurt, I guess. I called corporate. They told me that they had no recourse because I didn't want money. I wanted an apology from the manager. I still haven't gotten that apology after two conversations with corporate and sending my review to the dealership by email. It's been a month. Now it's too late. I wanted it known that an employee vandalized my car. Maybe they all knew when it happened. Corporate said the dealership would be responsible for fixing the scratches in the glaze and paint all over, the places where some jerk stood and repeatedly chipped paint away with something sharp. (Clean silver metal underneath, unlike the chip in the hood Id bought paint for, where it was weathered). They also wiped something black and greasy from their foot into my clean carpet. It was just crazy that someone did this to my car. Hateful. I wasn't taking it back there again. That would be supremely stupid. And possibly unsafe since someone was psych enough to do this in the first place. I do have pictures but since I didn't care to sue and I didn't take pictures just before I dropped my car off into their 'care' (who does that btw?!) it didn't matter. Read the other reviews carefully. Note how fake the glowing reviews look (since the company can't change your review). Look how no customer ever came back and revised their statement. Yeah the manager wrote something that looks good on a Yelp page, but it doesn't appear he's calling the customer to fix anything. So lip-service. No solution. I just haven't done the review thing (as you can tell from my rambling) but I felt like people should know. They vandalized my car. I never would have thought that could happen. I'd already been buffing the scratches and painting the chips when Honda Corp asked for pics. Sorry about the glare. I added20 pics but I think it only takes 10. Not the best. Sorry. read more

I have been driving a small SUV for the past 4 years. However, my boys are ages 13 and 10 who are both very involved in sports and having friends over, I needed more room. I started looking for a used low mileage minivan. After researching, I decided I wanted a Sienna or Odyssey. Let me say, I hate the entire car buying process. So, I thought I would try Carvana (to avoid the car buying hassle - lol). I ordered a used Toyota Sienna and had 7 days to test it out. Less than 24 hours after receiving the vehicle, the driver side sliding door power went out and I had a power cable hanging off the side of the van. I then heard rattling noises and the inside of the van was a mess. I decided I wasn't keeping this van. After this experience, I decided it's better for some purchases in life to actually see / test and meet with someone in person! Lol. I saw a used Honda Odyssey that was in my price range on Performance King's Honda website. My boys and I immediately went to look at the van. After inspection and meeting with our salesman, George, he helped us find a different certified used Honda Odyssey that was cleaner, had more options and would fit my budget and our lifestyle better. I could not be happier!!!! George did an amazing job. He was low pressure, easy to work with and I feel didn't want to "just sell me a car," but rather wanted to get me into the best vehicle for my price range and needs! In my most recent 2 visits to the Kings Honda service department I have been extremely dissatisfied with the service I received, and they don't care at all! My first visit was a rather complicated process (a potential recall issue) and I asked to speak with the Service Manager, Ash Mall, to explain why I felt that my service was poor. I called him three times without a returned phone call. I would have never gone back to the dealership if it wasn't for a new issue that mysteriously popped up after they had my car in their shop. So, I brought the car back in to ask about this new problem. They didn't even care to listen to what I was trying to explain to them. They spent about a whole 15 minutes looking the car over to conclude that there was no issue at all. But still, no returned phone call from the Service Manager. When I returned to pick up my car I asked to speak with Ash Mall. I was taken into his office with my boyfriend and the Service Scheduler with whom I was working with. Ash barely let me get a word out. The conversation pretty much went like this: "Your car is working as it's supposed to, according to the Owner's Manual", "You need to take ownership of your vehicle and stop blaming everyone else", "I don't want to hear any more about the recall issue, I'm done with it", "If you have a problem with me, take it up with Corporate Honda"... so on and so on. He told me that I had only been there once previously (about a year prior when I came in for an oil change), and that he didn't really mind if I didn't come back ever again. He said I was welcome to take my car elsewhere. When we left the office, the Service Scheduler told me that she couldn't believe that he spoke to me that way and that she was sorry. Pretty pathetic if you ask me - your own employees can see that you are out of line! I have left 2 messages with Bob, the GM. The phone calls have NOT been returned. I have complained to Corporate Honda, but they told me that dealerships are independently owned and that all they can do is take record of my complaint. How in the world could this service department possibly be "award winning"?! They clearly don't care enough to even show respect to their customers. I guess if you have a complaint, you aren't worth their time. I will never, ever go back again! read more

I purchased a used 2008 BMW 535xi from the Kings Honda dealership on September 28, 2013. Along with the purchase, I received a 3 month / 3000 miles warranty that covers 100% of both parts and labor. Shortly after purchasing, the car began having an engine rattle, so I took it to the BMW dealership (since they are the experts, and where I plan to use for all my maintenance needs), to have the car fully inspected and determine what the rattling was. After the inspection, the BMW dealership told me that the Engine Turbo Chargers are not performing properly, and are actively failing. BMW said that the Turbo Chargers will completely fail soon, and it is imperative that the Turbo Chargers be replaced. I took my car back to Kings Honda since the warranty is with them. After inspecting, Kings Honda agreed that they "found noise coming from turbo charger", but refused to fix the broken Turbo Chargers because "turbo charger is currently working". That is not how warranties work. The Engine/Turbo Chargers are not performing as they are expected, and will completely fail. My warranty fully states the the Engine is fully covered at 100% ("Engine: Cylinder block and all internal parts, head assemblies, head gaskets, timing case, chain, gears, belts and sprockets, harmonic balancer, oil pump, water pump, turbocharger housing and all internal parts, turbocharger actuator"). So clearly, Kings Honda is not honoring the warranty I have with them. The service rep told me to that I needed to speak to a Sales manager (Andy) to dispute this. I have called several times, leaving voicemails, but he has never returned my calls. I also contacted an attorney (no legal file claimed, yet). The attorney said that the Dealership is acting illegally by not honoring their service warranty agreement. I am giving Kings Honda one last chance to honor the warranty before I pursue legal action. I expect King Honda to honor their commitment to the Service Warranty that I have with my auto purchase from their dealership. Kings Honda needs to cover the warranty and have the Turbo Chargers in my car replaced, and promptly. Or, they can purchase the car back from me, at the amount that I paid plus money that I already put in the car. Otherwise, legal action will be pursued. read more

I came in here recently in order to have my airbags replaced in my Honda Element because of a recall. I had a test drive scheduled for this day because I didn't want to wait around a few hours for the repair. The test drive I had scheduled I'm pretty sure was with Emit. I was informed by the front desk that Emit was off that day. So I had the receptionist call him to try and figure it out. He explained to me without apologizing that he made arrangements for someone else to take the test drive with me. Said person was not scheduled to be in for another few hours. On top of that, the certain model I requested to take a test drive in was not even on the lot at the moment. I never ended up taking any test drive. Hours later, after the service was "taken care of" I drove home. I was called an hour later and was informed that I would need to bring back my car in the future because the dealership did not have the necessary parts to replace the airbags. Instead of handling the airbag situation, they fixed other recalled parts on my vehicle; which I wasn't aware existed. Overall, this experience had nothing positive about it. You would think that fixing recalls to prevent possible injury or death would be a priority to a car manufacturer. I guess not. read more

Alright, so no car dealership is going to get a 5-star review unless you walk in and buy with cash and then are they really deserving of the 5 star? Anyways I like it here. I saw the 2015 CRV's with all the bells and whistles in November at the Convention Center and spoke extensively with the salesman. I knew My next car would be a CRV. I wanted to wait until the end of summer to buy but I had a stressful encounter and was fed up and decided to buy my car last week. I called and told them what I wanted to pay, that I didn't want a trade in deal etc. They took 3k off the sticker price I walked in the same day and they had the car ready to test drive. This was about 8 pm when they were closing. The salesman was a car salesman what can you say? He tried to get me to trade in my car, then the finance manager tried to get me to buy extra warranties. But when I told him it was illogical for me to pay 80 bucks a month each month starting from purchase date for a warranty when the car was already under a 36k 3 yr warranty meaning those 3 years would be $2,880, when I could easily put that money in savings in case something ever happened and have it for repairs. He tried and he tried hard. That was annoying bc it was past 10 pm and I just wanted to get my car and go home. Financing terms were great and so was the price. Would recommend. read more

My husband and I went to Kings Honda today to get some info on leasing a 2012 Odyssey. We have been looking at used Odysseys in the Automall all day and decided to stop in Kings Honda to find out more about leasing a new odyssey rather than purchasing a used van. We were greeted by Mark Malone, who asked what model we were interested in and he pulled one around for us to look at. He asked if we'd like to test drive it, but we said no because we were familiar with the Oddyseys and we were in a hurry to get back home to pick up our daughter from school. We did ask him to run some numbers for us to look over and give us a value for our trade. We informed him that we have less than perfect credit but that we do have a co-signer, then he proceeded to ask us a series of personal financial questions which were not relevant to purchasing a vehicle. He then went on to tell us that he would not waste his time by running numbers for us and that maybe we should visit Honda East. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a salesperson. He was demeaning and rude. Mark Malone is a poor representation of Honda and Kings Honda should be ashamed to employ such an awful person. On a brighter note, we are enjoying our brand new Toyota Sienna SE that we bought down the street. Kings Toyota has amazingly kind salespeople that I would recommend to anyone! read more

I am ashamed to say I got finagled and am now stuck with a lemon and a few bucks poorer :(. I was assured multiple times on how this used car (05 focus w/ 99k mi) pass their safety inspection test and a rudimentary basic 28 point or 32 point (I have no clue some low double digit number). So stupid me did not bother to check for myself that all lights (brake/headlights) are working because surely this big business was not going to do shady stuff like say they did something but in reality didn't...surely. Made the mistake of purchasing this car "as-is" and as we drove it off the lot (I am driving behind the car as we took 2 cars there) I notice the 3rd brake light (the one in the middle) does not work. Called them immediately at the stoplight about it and they were like "sure come on in and we'll take care of it for you". Nice :). I scheduled to have it looked at by the service department 5 days later and while I am there I notice them troubleshooting ideas as to why it was not working. When the tech took the light out from the trunk and exposed the bulbs underneath the plastic I noticed all the little bulbs in there were blown out...all of them. So they replaced them and tested if that did the trick and it did not so we had to come back while they tried to fix it. It ended up being a wiring fix they told us but at least it works as it should which is great. Now let us backtrack to when we were ASSURED that all lights would work via the safety inspection test passing. How can it pass when the light had TWO independent reasons why the light could not function as it should. First being that none of the bulbs were even functional and second being that the wiring was faulty. Now after all that is said and done I thought I was in the clear and no harm no foul, so I thought. Then one day a week later my friend driving in front of me notices my passenger headlight does not work (at this point it has been 13 days since purchase) but I did not check if headlights were functioning at the dealership because again..."safety inspection passed" as I was reminded several times throughout the process when purchasing the vehicle. I called them the next day hoping they would take care of me same as the third brake light but was met with hostility and deniability claiming that it has been too long and that the headlight went out under my care (seeing as I only drove it maybe 3-4 times at night using headlights...). It seems more plausible that they just overlooked it and still passed it off as a check mark on the safety inspection test - unethical or just incompetent, you take your pick. So I'm on my own on this one. The next day I was riding with my friend who knew a little about cars and he told me it's not normal that the car is this loud (there's a loud grinding which I thought was due to the old age of the car). So the next day I take it to a mechanic for his professional insight and he tells me the car has a bad wheel bearing on the passenger side...He even tells me he is confident and with great certainty that this vehicle was sold to me with a bad wheel bearing already due to the extent of it's severity. This was a shock to me as I asked if I could just go about my business without a new wheel bearing as I did not mind the noise. He responds back if I valued my life I should have it replaced. So not only did Performance Kings Honda endanger my life by selling me a car that had the potential to have it's wheel just come off whenever and endanger me and everyone around me, but did not even hint at the fact that this car was not safe to drive. They'd rather jeopardize my life and those around me to make a couple hundred dollars... TLDR: - Said on multiple occasions with written proof that the vehicle passed a safety inspection test. - drove off the lot with 3rd brake light not working - helped us fix it - found that the front headlight on passenger side does not work - refused to help fix - 2 weeks later found that wheel bearing of the car on passenger side was bad even well before they let me drive this car off the lot. read more

This the second day I been in for a recall on two different cars. So far I been pleased with the service department, and I must say they have a relaxing waiting area. The service staff was really friendly, I even noticed them greeting someone else really friend, with a great smile that it made me smile as well. I went to Kings Honda in Cincinnati over the weekend to look at a car. My husband had previously emailed the seller (I guess it was one of the salespeople since it's a dealership) and we had an appointment at 2 PM on Saturday to test drive the vehicle that we were interested in. We drove all the way to Cincinnati from where we live, which is around an hour long drive. When we got to the dealership we stood around for a couple of minutes before anyone asked us why we were there. They did not have anyone to greet us for the appointment and they did not seem to know who we were. The receptionist told us to sit and wait in the waiting area for the agent we had talked with to finish with some customers. We are patient people and this is not a problem. The waiting area was grotesque, it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks and that made me rather uncomfortable. We sat and waited for about 30 minutes before my father-in-law (who came with us) asked the receptionist if our agent was coming and said that if not then we would leave since we have other things to do. Within a couple of minutes a salesman appeared (not the the agent we emailed) and apologized for the wait. He asked what vehicle we were looking at (he should have already known) and informed us that it was already purchased. We literally sat in a gross waiting area for 30 minutes for no reason after driving to Cincinnati for no reason. Needless to say, we were a bit ticked off. I don't know why they didn't call us to say the vehicle had been sold prior to our unnecessary 2 hour round trip drive. I don't know why they didn't at least inform us when we first told the receptionist the vehicle we were there to test drive. I don't know why they make appointments for test drives when they plan on selling the vehicle before that. We had made the appointment only a few days prior to this, so you can see our frustration. My advice, do not go to this dealership. My husband and I believe they trick you into coming to look at a car you really want that they have actually already sold. They're trying to get you to buy other cars than the ones online. I don't know what is going on with their lack of communication and poor customer-service. I honestly pity anyone who goes there to spend thousands of dollars on a car and has our crappy experience. Seriously, if I could give this place zero stars I would. read more

I have never dealt with a more rude and unprofessional dealership. I have an almost 3 yr. old, a 1 year old and am 7 months pregnant so I am in urgent need of a van that will fit 3 car seats. Back in July, I found a van meeting all my criteria online and since it was a 2 hour drive to the dealership, I contacted Performance King Honda to verify all the details. We had numerous conversations over a period of 5 hours going over everything in depth and negotiating a price. They physically inspected the van for me (or so they claimed) to insure the van had listed upgrades and that previous owner hadn't been a smoker. Since my husband was working out of town, I hired a sitter and asked my father to drive the 2 hours with me. We obtained a cashier's check for the agreed upon price, and asked the dealership to prepare as much paperwork as possible prior to our sold and he wanted to "save me a trip". Since I was already their I went inside to see what was going on and was met at the door by a handful of large men all in a line with their arms crossed, straight cold faces informing me they don't hold cars and they had sold the van. After trying to understand how this could be since I had been in contact with them for 7 hours up until arriving there, I asked to see the manager. He was sitting behind a counter and would not stand to greet me or shake my hand. He told me he has thousands of cars on the lot and there was no way to keep track of what had sold and what hadn't. Not only did he not have compassion for me, he offered no apology, and would not take any accountability. He did, however, try to sell me a "similar" van for the same price that was "only" a year older, with "only" 7000 more miles, and did not have the $2100 in upgrades the other van had. Honestly, I cannot even be sure the original van I had come to purchase ever existed. For all I know, this was a bait and switch tactic to get me to the dealership. I had contacted the BBB and Performance Kings Honda General Manager Robert Brewster contacted me and was very apologetic. We had spoken over the phone on August 26th and he wanted to make things right by finding me a comparable van. Since August 26th, I have not received any communications from the general manager. I have called and left messages on September 21st and September 30th with no response. I appreciated his initial response but I feel like this is just word service since I have seen no action. I am now due with a baby in a few weeks and have no vehicle that can fit 3 car seats in. I have been looking for used vans since this incident but have not found anything that is comparable within 100 miles and I am not able to travel any further. If everything would of gone accordingly back in July, then I would have a safe vehicle that could hold all 3 of my children. read more

Horrible experience so far. The manager and the sales people treated us like they are doing us a favor. First time, we went there because we wanted to look at a white Honda accord that was written certified on the website, after taking a test drive we decided to buy it and completed all the paper work, while we were being handed the keys the sales person told us the car isn't certified and its an error on the website. It was 9 pm and we had waited more than an one and half hour for the manager and the sales person to talk to us. Few days later we went to look at another Honda accord, we made sure this one is truly certified, and wanted to buy it right away, but the manager wouldn't negotiate at all. Other Honda dealers readily reduce $500 from listed price of a car, but this manager was adamant. We felt like we are begging and he is doing us a favor. If we can pay thousands of dollars for a car we can also play $ 500 . Worst experience ever. read more

Horrible experience. Salesman left before we did. Waited FOREVER to finish paperwork. No spare key and no Manuel. Wouldn't return emails or phone calls. Coffee was nice while waiting. read more

I recently traded my 2012 Honda CRV with 2012 honda van with Eric Spicer. He was super cool to work with adn we made the deal in less than 2 hours when I wasn't even sure of buying! :) I was just curious and thinking of \ shopping around for bigger van he worked with me on this deal and made it work. read more

Tried twice to purchase from them. First time (2016) made it to the offer stage, but was rebuffed by those in the "big glass sales cubicle." Went to another dealer and purchased the exact same car (model, year, even color) with the same offer (mileage 1k LESS than the Kings car + didn't have a windshield ding). Most recently went back in there to potentially purchase another Honda. The car I saw on their website had already been sold, the sales guy said they only update the site once a week. I asked about other similar vehicles, he took us to a computer along the wall in the showroom and proceeded to do nothing more than pull up the website listings...and pointed out the exact same car that had already been sold! After that, some guy from the sales booth came over, held a whispered conversation with him, after which he excused himself to go and "move a vehicle" (don't they have non-sales people for that??) Maybe I hit them on a "bad day".....but I'll never be back. read more

My husband and I found a nice used Odyssey that was a recent trade-in at the Kings Performance Honda dealership... So recent, in fact, that photos weren't even up online. So I emailed and inquired about the car. They told me that it was still being serviced, and needed the power lift gate repaired, but to come check it out this weekend. So we showed up on Saturday, ready to see this car, but we couldn't find it in the lot. When I went inside to ask, they say they haven't seen that car yet... It took a good 3 people to look up this car and find out that it was still being "serviced" but may be finished by tomorrow, so they ask me to touch base with them then. I call on Sunday morning. Philip, the guy who had been speaking to me, told me that the car had been moved on to the paint and detail department, but those guys weren't in on Sundays, so the van wouldn't be moved from the shop or available to look at until Monday. I got home after running errands all day, and decided to see if they had at least put up any photos in the meantime, so I could at least SEE this car. However, the car is no where to be found. I called this morning to ask Philip if my husband and I could stop by after work tonight, thinking maybe it had been temporarily taken down to update the photos and information on the car. Philip said he would find out if the car was ready and call me back. I missed his call due to work, but his voicemail said "apparently someone came in late last night before close when the van had just been delivered and snatched it up". Seriously? I had been trying to see this van since last THURSDAY. If you don't want my business, I have no problem going elsewhere. read more

I am purchasing a car for the first time and was ready to make a sale until it came down to "trying" to making a deal. The salesman I had, Chris was rude and not willing to fix any of the problems the car had previously because to him it was a "used car." He made my experience the worst I have encountered and for that reason I walked out and will gladly take my $16,000 business somewhere else! read more

Incredible Lack of Integrity at Kings Honda I have had an unbelievably bad experience with Kings Honda in Cincinnati. It started with me committing to buy a 2004 Corvette they had for sale and having it sold out from under me. Not only did they sell the Corvette the day before I was to come to pick it up but they told me a bold face lie to cover up their lack of integrity. I was told the detailer that was getting it ready for pick up had crashed it into a guard rail and totaled the vehicle which I was later told was not true. I found this out because I talked to the sales manager to get reimbursed for the car trailer I rented to pick up the vehicle and since I did not live in the area he could care less about my request. The sales manager was also very difficult to work with and told me they are only interested in "pushing metal" or in other words to getting a sale. He committed to give me a follow up call and once again he showed they do not care about anything but a sale since I have not received the common courtesy of the promised call. It is honestly difficult for me to know where to even begin with how terrible Kings Honda is. They are so awful this is the first time I have felt the need to write a review, so others do not have to experience what I have. I bought a brand new Pilot. I was originally promised a fully loaded Pilot. Somehow they could not offer that for the price they offered. I sadly fell for this. I wanted leather and a GPS. They did this great demo with a new treatment on cloth that removes stain off cloth (better than leather), as they would have to order leather. They also would add a GPS in it. I was told this would take one day. They kept my car for 1 week, even though I had scheduled this day well in advance. I had called several times for my car. They said it was not ready during this week. I ended up finding out, it had been sitting in their lot for two days. No one called me. Kings Honda did not complete my registration and plates correctly. The BMV was not impressed, and this wasted yet another day of my time. After the entire mess of having my car gone for a week, the magical stain prevention on my cloth seats does not work. I have stains on my new car. My GPS was not hooked up correctly, and I do not have a working GPS. Kings Honda can not produce any receipts or paperwork proving how these services wore correctly done to my car, which only adds to my suspicions. I have been hung up on, talked to rudely, and have wasted countless hours there. In addition, I was not sold the car that I was told I had bought. At one point, the manager John apologized (very fake) and said he would replace my car. Oh, I forgot to mention, I was promised free oil changes for life. There, no shock, is any record of this either with their service. Two days later, John took back what he said about trading my car for what I had expected to buy- stain proof seats and a working GPS. He said now he will not trade my car and give me the car I want. I am not sure how he can offer this one day, and not the next. This further destroys my trust in Kings Honda. I will NOT allow them to take my car again. They have had it too long already, and I do not trust their service anymore. Additionally, I have wasted enough time at Kings Honda to last me a life time. In fact, I do not trust any car from there. John said he would take my car, fix the GPS and detail it. He is missing the entire point. Number one, he went back on his offer of trading my car. Number two, my car should not require detailing if my car was truly stain proof as promised. Number 3, I should not have the GPS adjusted again! I am so saddened that Kings Honda believes it is okay to mislead customers and waste their time to this extent. I think it is important for others to know this. There are plenty of other Honda dealers. I wish I would have read the other reviews prior to making this purchase. I have an extremely expensive car that now has stains and worthless GPS. read more

Don't trust there used car inspection! I got my car inspected thru them and they listed minor problems that were easily fixed. I buy the car then two days later the transmission is going out. I take the car back to them because I was told over the phone that the inspection would be free because I had just paid the $112.00 used car inspection. They obviously overlooked a very important detail because I'm no mechanic but transmission problems don't just appear out of no where with no warning. I drive 45 minutes to "performance" kings Honda for my 10:00am appointment. I'm informed that I have to pay additional charges because the problems I had were fixed. ? This still doesn't make any sense. I could see if they told me my transmission was bad and I replaced it and still had the noises but there inspection print out didn't list transmission repair, if it had I definitely would not have bought my car! read more

We bought a new Honda Odyssey today after looking at every minivan available on the market. I met Steve after being greeted by the receptionist and although he is a newbie he was extremely knowledgable and must be a really quick learner because he could answer every single question I had and had a great command of his products. He treated me with respect for my age and the fact that I walked in as a handicapped female buyer did not deter him from helping me. [How refreshing after some of my experiences at other dealerships located at Kings!] The salespeople were crazy busy but Steve was patient and did not rush me. I returned two days later with my husband, worked with the team of Steve and Rob, and reached a deal as painlessly as is possible when buying a car. Working with Jenni to sign all the paperwork was amazing. She is organized, efficient, and friendly. What a pleasure. We are already telling people about our experience and we would not hesitate to contact Steve for our next car purchase. Thanks. read more
