So far my experience has been great at this. I got this email that scared me at first front Nissan. It said I was overdue for some type of inspection. I made an apointment and here I am. I really thought I missed an important inspection. When I arrived. The friendly service person asked me some questions. The issue wasn't as serious as I thought. He was great. My advice, if you get an email from Nissan call them and asked before coming, lesson learned. The waiting room was comfortable. It had a bending machine, water, coffee, TV and computers. It was full. They do try to make it as comfortable as possible. The service person assigned to me David kept me updated. He checked on me. He was approachable and friendly. After visiting the dealership and telling them over the phone what my credit was as well as being 'upside down' on my current loan, I was told they had 100% approval as I didn't want my time wasted. 2 hours at the dealership to be sent home with 'we will keep working in this' and let you know. Here we are 2 days later and zero communication from them despite my original contact person following up with me to see how things went. She stated 'oh no, let me follow up with the manager and have them get back to you'. I've had 2 of these messages and still zero follow up. Terrible communication is a telltale sign of how a business runs. Even if it was a 'no' with financing, to not at the minimum message me to let me know is the worst customer service thing you can do. I wish I could give negative stars. Anyway... believe every bit of the bad reviews. I saw a vehicle listed on carfax.com and then checked it out on the Performance Nissan website. After looking over the carfax, I made a call to the dealership at 9:30 this morning. I asked for pictures (the listing had none) and expressed that if the pictures were good, I was interested in getting it. The person who answered the phone and told me she was in sales was not the person who called me back. Adam called me back about 40 minutes later and said he would be the one I would be dealing with - I wondered why the person I initially talked to didn't tell me that but whatever. So, he sends me the pictures pretty quickly and within an hour (I was at a kid's program), I call him back and tell him I'm very interested but I'm from out of state and I want to talk about numbers. He said they don't negotiate over the phone so that I don't go somewhere else and use their numbers.... not really possible when I'm looking at a 2012 model car and I express this to him. I tell him that I've already run it through my credit union and the financing is in place. He tells me he has to talk to his GM and get back with me. He calls back with an offer but then asks if I would consider letting them finance the car. I told him that was fine. This is at 12:30. Next thing I know, I get a text from someone at the dealership saying that they have someone in the store looking at the vehicle and they will keep me updated on the situation. B S. I know at this point that they are just trying to mess with me. So, I wait. Finally, at 4:30, I call the store back and ask to speak to Adam and they say he will have to call me back. He then texts me and tells me that the car price has been raised another $2000 and I ask him if he is not going to honor the price that he gave me earlier. He says he is not so I let him know that I would just add to the other terrible reviews they have. They already tack on $2000 in doc and dealer fees - and they did freely admit that the doc fees are pure profit for them. Whatever but don't try to bait-and-switch me. He told me during the purchase that I would be getting one year of free service and if I finish a survey, he would be giving me an additional year of service. I asked how and where to fill the form. He said I would be receiving an email within a month. That email never came. I tried contacting Antoine several times. Every time he says he would look into it but he never fixed the issue. They wanted me to pay for the work they had done to make the vehicle sellable (Brakes, only 2 tires, Oil Change) The truck was 17,250 out the door based on the price they advertised on the internet. Mr. Serpentini: I do hope it is you who reads this email and not someone other than yourself Last Friday morning I called your Nissan dealership in Pompano with an A/C issue with my 2006 Armada. I was told to bring it up right away since it was a slow day. I did and spoke to the service writer and manager. I not only explained the problem but had my regular mechanic who had just replaced the entire a/c system speak to the manager and explain the issue. Seems my mech did not have the proper computers to diagnosis the issue. I was told it would be assigned to one of the more experienced technicians who works on older vehicles. I called 4:30 5 pm for an update and was told it's still being diagnosed and would be worked on tomorrow meaning Saturday. I called Saturday and was told the system needed to be flushed and re charged. This made no sense since the issue was computer or sensor related as discussed-on Friday. Then I was told it would be looked at again on Monday (yesterday) When I called yesterday afternoon for an update, I was told the mechanic it was assigned to was not working, it was his day off. This did not make me happy which I think you can understand. I felt as if I was getting a run-a-round and double talk by the service advisor. I'm not a fool...I worked in many dealerships back in the 70's so I know when my chain is being yanked. This morning, I get a phone call...come get your car, we can't fix it. Then I get a call from my cousin, the mechanic who originally spoke to your people on Friday and who replaced the a/c system and suggested your dealership. He told me he was called told by the service advisor and was told I was rude and abusive. Rude and abusive for asking questions...really? How dare one of your employees make a call to him or anyone about a customer and make such disparaging remarks. When I purchased my Nissan Rogue from the dealership they were very kind and worked with me to get the deal done. I did not have any issues so my interaction with them was short. Fast forward nearly 2 years and I needed a truck to pull a new camper so seeing as how professional they were the first time I decided I would go back again. Since then literally ALL interactions with them were horrific. The used 2021 Titan I purchased had a bed with a bad "Rhino-lining" but as part of the purchased they gave me an IOU and stated they would fix it. That was a fight that took over a month and in the end they wrote me a check for a couple hundred dollars instead of upholding to their written agreement. In June of this year I traded in my Titan and purchased a real truck to pull my camper so I requested all warranties be canceled. I was directed to Josh Burns in finance who canceled some (not all I later found out) warranties and had a check sent to my family's home in northern Florida. The check never arrived so I contacted Josh and let him know. After some digging he sends me an email asking how could someone steal a check that had my name on it. It was at this point I realize Josh [who works in their finance] has apparently never heard of fraud, identity theft, etc so I explained to him that someone stole it and cashed it illegally. I also requested an investigation to be launched to which I was told they would, yet they never did. I had nearly $1,000 stolen and Nissan Performance has exhibited zero concern or care and have refused to help. They have not called or written me to discuss this issue. It's a few weeks from Christmas and money I that could be spent on my children will not be. Not only is Performance Nissan a sham with lackluster service they have people that blatantly lie and have no customer care skills working for them. On December 1st I spoke with a new finance man, Carlos, and his response to me was the upper management has said it's not Performance Nissan's issue...as a veteran it disgusts me to see companies like this functioning. read more

In fact the (so he calls himself) the parts manager stated it could take up to 14 days to ship and it is past that statement. However, the website clearly stated 3-4 days with a small disclaimer saying up to 14 days. Therefore, I cancelled. Now to see if they do a charge back credit to my account in a timely manner. I would give zero stars if I could. We found a car online that we wanted to see. We called and confirmed that it was still available. We told them what time we would be there to look at the car and arrives at that time. The CSR greeted us and said have a seat and she walked to a salesman's desk who I overheard him say, tell them I will be there in a minute. She had no one at his desk. We waited 20 minutes and left. I recently went in to have a couple stripped tire studs replaced ( thanks to Tire Kingdom) They gave me a ridiculously high quote but I approved it. After 3 hours of nobody working on the vehicle I asked what was going on. I was told they didn't have the parts. That would have been nice to know when they quoted the repair as I would have rescheduled! Absolutely no consideration for the customers time! I've had two Nissans. My first was a Pathfinder and I loved it and my experience buying it from here (before it was Performance) was excellent. Then I got into a different SUV from another manufacturer and once I sold that one I returned here to get my second Nissan. It was Performance then and I actually got my car from the same salesman from a few years ago. Buying/Leasing my second car was easy again. I had a couple issues in the first year to have fixed under the warranty but Performance didn't correct the squeaky brake pedal after two tries so I went to another Nissan dealer that told me what was wrong and fixed it right away. I wasn't mad at Performance but surprised they missed the broken part and all they did was keep greasing the thing. Now, the recent problem I had really got me upset at Nissan in general. My lease was coming due in 3 months and Nissan Company called me almost every day and sometimes 2 times in one day to return the car early and get a new one. I was also getting calls from Performance to do the same thing. I was so annoyed that I told them no mater what I would not get another Nissan because of all the pressure they are putting on me. When my lease was due, I called Performance and was told I had to speak to a specific department to set up an appointment but each time I leave a message I don't get a call back. I also couldn't reach a manager to discuss or complain. After 2 weeks I called and said I am coming in the next day (Saturday) to drop off my lease and was told on the phone you must have an appointment and I said I would've set one if I ever got a call back. They got someone on the phone for me and they said I can't come in on Saturday and they only take back leases on weekdays. I explained I work for a living. I called Nissan Company and they said they must take it any day you want so I called back and they said they'd make an exception. I was so frustrated with the calls and the stupid weekend thing. I even asked why they told me I can't bring it Saturday and they said because they want to use that day to sell to customers buying a car. Very unprofessional. Our car was suppose to be fixed in one week. It took 3 weeks to be fixed. We know that problems can occur but when we questioned the reason for such delay, people were very irritable and unpleasant. It felt like they were doing us a favor. At the end, when my husband went to pay the balance, after running the credit card, he questioned why there was a $30 fee on the top of the amount. He was then informed that a credit card fee was applied. Never he was given the choice of paying in a different manner. Avoid the mechanical shop at this dealership. My sister and I purchased a 2018 Nissan Sentra to leave at our vacation home in Fort Lauderdale. The car had about 39,000 miles when we purchased it. My sister wanted to get the oil changed and brought it to Performance to get the work done. We had only put about 1,000 miles on it at that point. They did an an inspection of the vehicle and determined that it needed Lower Control Arms ($619.00 + $467.08 Labor), Alignment ($99.95), Brake Flush ($110.00), Front Brakes ($210.00), Air Filter ($34.95), Micro Filter ($64.95), and Wipers ($34.95). Total $1,644.12. My sister thought this was odd and I told her not to have the work done until we went for a second opinion. The dealership did not push further. We went to another auto repair shop ant were told the Control Arms were fine, The brakes were fine, It needed the main cabin air filter and wipers. My girlfriend at the time went in without me and these guys thought they could get away with some stuff. Lie 1- Her credit affects the sales price. It does NOT! It only affects the interest rate. Lie 2 - she has to get extra gap insurance. She was putting 50% down on a 1 year old used vehicle. It is mathematically impossible you will ever need gap insurance with that amount of a down payment. Lie 3 - A couple of BS add-ons were required by Nissan. This want even a rogue employee. The sales guy, finance guy along with the manager were trying hard to scam her. This dealership keeps replying to my reviews saying that I'm lying, so I'm making sure that I post the review wherever I can. I called to ask about buying a 2023 Nissan GTR. I explicitly asked if there was an upcharge over MSRP, because a lot of dealers are price gouging everyone still. I was told there wasn't an upcharge. I drove 30 minutes to find out there is a $50k upcharge on a car that costs $113k. I told Roy that I called and Tony told me over the phone that there was no upcharge. He went to speak with his manager and lowered the upcharge to $30k. This is when I left and was told "Sorry for wasting your time". This review is not about the upcharge. It's a free country, charge what you like. This review is about not disclosing the upcharge. My parents purchased their 2015 Nissan Rogue from this dealership so when they decided to buy another car they said they wanted to go back to Performance Nissan to see what they had to offer. They weren't sure if they were going to purchase a 2020 or maybe a certified trade in but they would decide once they went there. So we went there and sat down with one of the salesmen there and he told us what he had based on what my parents wanted to spend. He showed my parents the comparison of a new 2020 and a 2019 certified trade in Rogue they had just received the day before. He mentioned that all discounts offered only apply for the 2020 vehicles but he would ask his manager if there was something that could be given to them. While we looked at the vehicles my husband was inside talking to the manager mentioning that my father is a WWII and Korean War veteran and could there possibly be some discounts they could offer to him if he decides to purchase the 2019 Rogue. Sure enough the manager came through! My parents decided to purchase the 2019 Rogue and they were given discounts towards their purchase! These gentlemen were exceptional.
