I had a few concerning experiences at this shop, but also some positive interactions worth mentioning. First, after leaving my car for service, I returned to find it parked in an open, unsecured area with the key fob left inside and the car unlocked. Anyone could have accessed the vehicle and even stolen it, which raised serious concerns about basic vehicle security and handling. Second, there was a broken curb in their lot with a screw/bolt sticking out. I parked in the only available space and ended up driving over it, which nearly damaged my bumper. This created a preventable safety hazard for customer vehicles. On the positive side, there was a mechanic who did step in and help during my visit, which I appreciated. The main front desk woman was also very kind and professional. Overall, while there were some good people there, the safety and handling issues with my vehicle and the lot were concerning enough that I hope they improve their processes going forward. read more

Had my car towed in for a starter change. Was told multiple times that I'd be getting a call back soon when my car was ready to go never did. Finally when I called back, all managers who had dealt with my car were out of the office and the one lady still in charge at the shop refused to discuss r explain pricing with me and would not connect me with anyone who could. In the end, the job was a simple starter change that took the shop 2 days to complete, so I've been taking Uber everywhere, and the bill for this starter change came out to over $350 after taxes. Expensive pricing, long waits, and poor customer service and communication, all for a job that could've been finished in an hour. read more

Couldn't be happier with level of customer service and experience I had with Rogers. I initially took my 2016 vehicle to one of the local dealers when it just shut off the other day with a full tank of gas. The dealer quoted me multiple price estimates of $700, $900, and at one point mentioned a price over $1000. After a little research I called Rogers and spoke with Mike. Mike took the time to listen to what happened and listed out some possible issues and how Rogers would TROUBLESHOOT the vehicle to figure out what was truly wrong. Dean even took the time to talk with me once I dropped the vehicle off about their process. I just picked my vehicle and the total cost was less 1/2 what the dealer was quoting. Without any reservations I can say Rogers will get the job done quickly and for a fair price. Rogers has just earned a new loyal customer. read more

I grew tired of using the dealership for repairs, particularly when they tried to scam me into buying a new air filter a few weeks after I replaced it myself. Ive taken my car to rogers for years BUT, my last visit I needed brake cylinder repaired I was quoted $900.00. I arranged to bring my car back, and entrusted Rogers to do the job. When I went to pick up my car I was told the bill was $1200.00, I'd never gotten a call seeking authorization for the additional $300.00! Oh they did offer to let me argue it out with the person who had misrepresented the cost but the bill was $1200.00. Two days later, when taking my car elsewhere for an oil change it was pointed out to me that my hood support, which had been intact before my visit to Rogers, had been broken and haphazardly laid on top of my engine! Worst experience that I ever had. My front tyres started wearing so thought Ill go ahead and change them for brand new ones. So drove them for like a month and got a great deal on 4 used tires that was bigger so went to Rogers and told them I have an problem with my alternator and if they can fix it and while they do that if they can change all my tires to the 4 used ones i got on a good deal. Came back after they did it to find that they replaced them and did not give back my 2 front tires that was still brand new. In realizing that I thought that the day when i dropped it of that i forgot a boat title in there and ask one of the employees if they know where my tires and title are, and if they seen it cause im going to be in a difficult situation if someone took it. Realized that my partner took it out of my truck and told them that i found it and that they don't need to worry. Got my tires back that they had in the back and as soon as i wanted to walk out the owner or manger came out screaming at me. Like beyond himself, telling me that how can i accuse them of steeling a title and tires. I could not even get a chance to talk and we walked to the employee who was clearly lying about what i said. Even the other employee said that that was not what he heard. Bottom line is that we almost got to a physical confrontation cause of a bad employee and a Really bad manager/owner of a leader. Something that I value as much as knowledge, is honesty. That's exactly what I got from this place. When you are not a mechanic, it's very easy to be deceived ending up paying for unnecessary parts and services. Rogers Auto Repair gained my confidence when I brought my car with a very nasty sound every time I stepped on the brakes. They quickly found that the whole issue was because a missing screw. I've done much business with these guys. A while ago, I ended up with a used VW GTI that had been (in the words of Dean, the owner of Roger's) "ridden hard and put away wet". Others didn't even want to work on it. Dean was friendly and helpful, once going so far as to drop me off at the airport after I dropped the car off. I have no complaints about the quality of the work done and their prices are far more reasonable than the local VW dealerships. I had a situation where a new catalytic converter that Roger's had installed went bad within the warranty period, but I'd since moved out of the area. Dean went above and beyond the call of duty to get a replacement part shipped to me at his expense that I then had a local mechanic install. Hooray for good customer service! My only complaint would be that this whole ordeal took far longer than I think it needed to, but it's hard to blame a guy that's running a business and dealing with a newborn for not prioritizing my issue :) read more

On August 3rd I had my car towed to have my transmission looked at, the next day they told me I needed a new one so we agreed on a rebuilt one. Mike told me it would be ready by Monday the 10th well it's now it's August 18th and still no car, they haven't even gotten the transmission yet to put in my car, they keep blaming Covid for the delay and I've been out of a car for 2 weeks and counting. I am sick and tired of getting ripped off by auto mechanics. I have had so many bad experiences I hate it when something stars to goes wrong with my automobile. I was describing some of the many experiences that I have had with a group of friends and one of them told me about Rogers' Auto Repair Shop. This was my first experience here and true to their word they did everything they told me they would do and the price was exactly what they said it would be. My first experience here was very good so I will return again in the future. As of now this is by new shop for auto repairs. I just hope the next experience here is as good as the first. There aren't enough stars for these people they are fantastic! Every mechanic, manager, and employee I have come in contact with has been knowledgeable and super friendly. Unfortunately, I have had to come to the mechanic more than I would have liked over the last 2 years but every time I come back to Rogers Auto because the experience is always great. They have been beyond flexible to squeeze me in last minute when the battery died in my car and I got a flat tire more than once. Roger's used to be a top notch place to take your car to get repaired but not anymore. My last handful of experiences have been that you leave your car to get fixed, a day turns in to two and from there to a week or more for even very simple issues. You ask for a call back...never happens....you have to show up there to get your questions answered. When your car is fixed, do they call you that it's ready for pick up NO! Not everyone has extra cars, we do, some people have to rent a car, so this is just horrible. Their automotive work is top notch but you shouldn't have to wait a week or two to get your car for simple issues. In addition, they are a bit pricey, when we were receiving quality service we didn't mind but the last several times no way! Just be warned...have a spare car if you take your car here because you may not see your car for a week or two!!! read more

I went to get an oil change and tire rotation on Saturday for 07 TSx. I normally go to the dealership but decided to give this garage a shot. Boy do I regret it... They gave me my car back with the light on even The mechanic who changed my oil couldn't explain. He freakin GOOGLED it!! Come to find out it was the VSA symbol light. Add insult to injury, Dean, not sure if he's the owner of the the shop told me I was better off selling my car than repairing it. Excuse me!! I normally am afraid to take my car to any garage thinking that I will get screwed. So when the AC went out in my 4Runner, I was hesitated to take it in for repair just anywhere. I got a coupon from Pep Boys for free AC check so I decided to take the car in there for an estimate first. The guys over at Pep Boys took 4 hours to do the diagnostic and came back to tell me all the different things is wrong with my car. The final estimate: $800.00. I couldn't believe it. So I asked my friends around to see if they can recommend me to a honest auto repair shop with fair prices. Luckily I found this place not too far from where I live. The shop manager Dean was very friendly and helpful. He examined my car and told me pretty much the same thing the guys at Pep Boys told me, except the costs. I saved over $200.00 from the estimate from Pep Boys quote. Therefore, I highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs to find a decent and professional auto repair shop. read more
