Many of the items you can also order yourself online for much cheaper. You are getting no deal here. I feel so scammed.They also will treat you like a nuisance if you cannot immediately decide. One of the men told my mom when she called that he was very busy right now. P.S. In response to the business, anything can happen in a home improvement project. In my case, the larger tiles cannot be used on the dry wall as the dry wall is not completely straight. All other companies have reasonable return policies. Only edgebrook tile are this rude. Oscar hung up the phone on my mother. Shame. He was also so rude to my mom when we were shopping. He told her, "Think of me as a son giving you advice." This guy is probably close to my mother's age. My mom was born in 1966. No way Oscar is young enough to be her son. I was NEVER told they have no returns period. They in fact encouraged me to order extras!!! In since the tile I ordered is a popular one and unopened, they should have no problem taking back and storing if somebody else needs in the future. I also tried to talk to Oscar peacefully. He assumed I was my mother and started screaming at me on the phone, getting extremely hostile. I tried to tell him I am an attorney and know that sale of goods over $500 have to be in writing. In since I said this, he accused me of trying to scare him or threaten him. He is not well and has no respect for people who spend thousands of dollars in his store. My mother and I had to go to the store to ask for a receipt later. He never gave me a receipt in writing before the transaction nor did he explain the terms that there are NO refunds or exchanges. Almost all his products are special order as the store is small and he has nothing in stock, so basically everything in his store is NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE. Go elsewhere. You are better off going to Floor and Decor or The Tile Shop as they let you return unopened products within a reasonable time period. -RECEIPT NEVER EMAILED TO ME -WAS TOLD NOTHING ABOUT NO RETURNS OF EVEN UNOPENED BOXES -WAS NEVER TOLD THAT ITEMS NOT IN STOCK CANNOT BE RETURNED -CONTRACTORS PICKED UP AND THEY SAY THEY GAVE RECEIPT TO CONTRACTORS. SORRY, BUT THATS NOT ENOUGH. YOU HAVE TO LET CLIENT KNOW IN WRITING PRIOR TO TRANSACTION. -THEY DIDN'T LET ME KNOW ABOUT FREIGHT FEES. THEY CHARGED THOSE LATER. My mom was talking kindly to the girl, she handed the phone to Oscar who started getting defensive, nervous, and screaming. That this man takes advantage of people during these hard economic times is sad. I'm now left with many boxes of tile I cannot use. Oscar had the nerve to tell me if he makes an exception for me, he has to make one for everybody. First, how would somebody else know? Second, he should happily accept unopened boxes from anybody especially when they are a popular neutral tile. I have never met somebody with such a lack of regard for others. Our experience did not live up to those reviews. The good * Customer Service was always prompt * Had good availability * Brought in a large team * Was overall good with clean up * Got most of the work (over 1000sq) done in one day * The price was very reasonable * The Bad * The craftsmanship isn't great * Owner blamed the new guy for the problems * Had to be called back and should come back again for more problems that were covered up by furniture * The project felt rushed, they did all but closet and other minor things out of 1300sq * Poor craft meant we out more $ on product as we had pre purchased it. * He's quickly agreed on two occasions to come out and look at the issues, and no showed each time. We had flooring installed Early November. Everything was great before and during the project being installed. We were told surprisingly it would take a 1-2 days, what we didn't know was how big the crew was and that they would lean hard into that 1 day. I will say we did have to much stuff for a project that moved this quickly, but Nick was made aware and said it wouldn't be an issue. I had decided I would stain the quarter round that was replaced after the flooring was installed myself. I was able to get to two rooms right away and noticed a handful of bad cuts, especially on the edges. Most notably a whole closet had to be reinstalled. I prefer giving the benefit of the doubt so it wasn't a huge deal, I know I have made my own share of mistakes. Lucky I had noticed this within a few days of the flooring install and it was fixed within a week. Life and holidays got in the way so the rest of the quarter round went untouched for a month probably a little more. When I did finally get to it I found many more issues. Including a bad cut that ran a good part of the length of the loft. Bad but not the worst. The biggest deal is that in this time two boards had also split at the threshold (we've been told by a friend of friend the whole room would have to be relayed to fix the issue) of one of the doors. A location that had already been repaired from the first time I found issues. I am doing these renovations on behalf of my Mom so I take a lot of responsibility that good results happen, and this has been close to a worst case scenario for me. After finding all the additional issues, I reached out to Nick early February to have them repaired. He responded saying he would come out and look at the problem to have them fixed, he no showed. I am not interested in chasing down companies to do the job they should have done to start. I'd decided to wait a month to see if I would hear from Nick before writing this review, it's been well over that month and I never heard from him. As a last ditch effort not to post this I reached out again on Friday and again he agreed and then no showed. The real kicker is we had planned to do the downstairs, (about 1300sq) and it was Nicks to have. Unfortunately there was no reasonable way to move forward given the results we got on the second floor. While in the scheme of life I wish nothing but the best for Nick and his team, I wrote this review in the hopes that it can be a teaching moment for the company and provide an honest account for anyone looking to hire for floor installations. My other hope is that our experience was a one off or can be a one off by posting this. As I mentioned, he has glowing reviews on Thumbtack, unfortunately it doesn't seem that I can post this there because we didn't hire through that platform. Well sometime around then, some industrious craftsmen were sawing down oak trees, cutting them into planks and laying down the wood into my floor. So some 47,450 days later (that would be 68,320,000 minutes of steps, weather changes, barometric pressure dips, moving furniture, pets scratching etc, mopping, waxing, insects, new owners, joy, tears and changing seasons), the oak changed into patches of pine and polyurethane stains and here we are. We called in Vintage Flooring to remedy the planks that were cracked, where former patching jobs were failing, and to address the aging yellow stain. They came out quickly, presented us with a quote to replace planks and to replace the entire floor. We selected to replace the damaged section only. They started work but informed us that the floor was too damaged and the entire floor needed to be replaced. Entire process from start to finish was 4 days. Floor looks gorgeous. Minor deductions: change from sections of floor to entire floor (although they cautioned us) shoebase will have to be redone and I found a Budweiser can (empty) outside the room. Nicest floor in the house now. Spoiler alert: more work to come!

I had Jayson's company install LVP flooring after my carpet got damaged in my basement after a…read moremajor rain event. Jayson had a low price and promised quality work with a floating floor system. The crew did absolutely zero prep work, but did use the boxes of flooring to try to level the system. Half way through the floor was like a trampoline, absolutely terrible work, and Jayson came by after I asked him to and he tried rejecting what I said and no it's fine. It was definitely not fine, within days it started cracking due to no flooring prep and Jayson stopped answering calls and e-mails all together. His work was absolute garbage and we ended up having to re-do the ENTIRE FLOOR within weeks because they did no prep. I paid in cash and Jayson should not be trusted. He ignored me, and never fixed ths issue, and so I tried to warranty the work through Yelp, and they said because Jayson never responded to my claim that I can't get any of my money back- and keep in mind YELP "guarantees" it- nope, if the business owner doesn't respond, Yelp denies responsibility. Yelp's warranty is worthless, and so is Vintage Flooring. AVOID!
