I recently visited Perkins with my family and it we had a nice time. I ordered the BLT sandwich and it was delicious. The fries were seasoned really well. My kids had pancakes and the loved it. My husband didn't like his bacon very much. The server was friendly and planed with my kids for a bit. It was very busy so we didn't have to wait long. Very pricey. Our bill was $58 before tip for just 3 entrees and water and the portions were small. They are still charging a $0.50 per egg surcharge so for our table of 3 that is an extra $4.50 before tax and tip. The portions of hashbrowns on all our plates were so thin and small we could have eaten them in 3 bites. Ham and cheese omelette was thin and the veggies in the everything omelette were hardly cooked and the whole thing was very wet. They do do good pancakes though, I wish they would bring back the apricot & berry syrups. The entrance is strange too, we had to do a u-turn to get in and the lines in the parking lot are crooked. I recently spent Christmas running around looking for sour cream, six different gas stations...,,... I went to Perkins spoke to the two women at the front counter. I apologize. I don't recall their name, but they both were very helpful. Very very helpful. The gentleman in the back was as well filled up some containers got me my sour cream saved the day for Christmas. . Everyone was helpful even though they were busy and I just wanna say that it was a wonderful experience of the people that we were working on Christmas Day in the morning about 130 p.m. did a wonderful job. so very much. read more

absolutely horrible! I ordered food online for pickup and my card was charged multiple times for one order. I spent way too much time trying to get refunded for the additional charges but only received a small portion back. This is after multiple trips to the store and multiple emails to corporate. Love this place! whether it's at 9:00 pm or 9:00 am the food is always delicious and cooked to perfection! when you stop in ask for angel , he is what the dictionary says hospitality is, he always has a smile, remembers what you like, and the little extras that you like! Paper wrapping in my food that I ingested as you can see from the picture. It was a super slow time (around 2pm on Tuesday). I first thought it was small piece but when I opened the rest of the sandwich there was more. The waiter said it was the wrapping from the cheese. I understand everyone makes mistakes but as slow as it was I think there is some food safety negligence going on. They made me a new one and still charged me. read more

I don't think i've ever had worse service anywhere in my life, and i understand perkins isn't going to be a 5 star establishment, however our server Shelby should either find a new occupation or just resign completely because she was the most incompetent server i've come across, she had about 3-4 tables that had no more than 2 people at them and yet didn't come up to our table for upwards of 10 minutes, when she did come and we gave her our drinks we were also ready to order but she told us she couldn't take our order as she just took someone else's? i understand not bombarding the kitchen with multiple tickets but with no more than 7 tables in the restaurant it seemed a little obnoxious. We got to order finally and watched the other table who ordered right before us eat and finish before we had to ask where our order was, when our order finally came it was wrong and instead of offering a discount or to keep the wrong food she took it back. And when we went to pay the entire staff was in eyes view standing around chatting and drinking and i made eye contact with someone multiple times before he let someone know we were up there. We had the sweetest waitress for the sweetest little socially distanced dinner. My boyfriend had the eggs Benedict which was very tasty, I took a bite of it, it had avocado and bacon too. Num! He said it was better than he thought it was going to be. I had the shrimp broccoli rice skillet and it actually even looked exactly like the picture. It was very solidly good. We didn't even know it, but we came on "free pie Monday" so we each went home with a piece of pie, Wildberry and French silk. As always, love having my own pot of decaf coffee. My Aunt invited me join her at Perkins, so of course I said yes! I usually go for pancakes, because I love their pancake and syrup combo. I swear I'm a syrup snob. If the syrup ain't right, I no likey. Service: Very pleasant. Our hostess and server were both a great tag team. Actually, the hostess with the mostest was the manager, so I'm sure she was ready to slang good service all over the place. I'm a firm believer that if the leader has good service, those working with the leader will too. Food: I went for something different this time and did a Pick Trio Lunch. It's something that gives you a soup, salad and sandwich and a 4th option would be desert. I ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup, Chicken salad with avocado and had a blt sandwich (1/2 of a sandwich). I looked past the long wait (30 mini for drinks and 1+ hours to get our food) but my real issue was when my sister received her glass of water with a wad of butter stuck to the side of the glass. I never really come here unless it's for late night eats. I honestly don't know why I come after midnight it's too late to eat anyway lol Parking lot is huge & never full. Every time I done in no one is ever at the front to greet or seat my party. We usually stand along with everyone else that's come in. Wait is usually 5 min. When we get seated there is usually 7-9 other tables full of people. No waiter/waitress is ever to be seen. THEY ONLY HAVE ONE SERVER! We wait about 10 min before we get asked what we would like to drink. Never once got greeted "I'll be with you in one moment" we were never acknowledged. Bad service. We finally put in our drink orders & it takes another 10 min before they arrive & we order our meals. We waited 15-20 min before we get our meals...3/4 meals come out. He forgets to put in 1 order! How do you forget to put in an order? My poor friend sat there awkwardly waiting for his meal while we ate. His food finally came out & it's the wrong order. At this point were like are you serious right now? My friend decides to keep the wrong plate of food because he's hungry, waiter then offers him a free plate of inion rings to make up for the mistake. Those came out after we were done eating. Waiter must've knew we weren't happy with the service, without asking or saying anything he gave us a $9 discount. That was nice of him but it doesn't make up for the service we had. If a restaurant knows they get busy during the late hours on the weekends, they should consider hiring more people! If you like to wait 30+ minutes for refills and food that needs to be sent back because it's cold, this is the place for you! Our drink orders were not taken when we were seated and we waited awhile. We received our drinks and then went without refills for 30 minutes. The food finally came and my friend needed to send her tomato bisque back because it was cold and congealing. The breakfast potatoes are not as good as they used to be, the brisket was (not surprisingly) disappointing, and the best part of my meal was the smoked sausage. My friend's daughter's biscuit platter had a hair in it. We came here because IHOP was packed because of Eid. This was the worst Perkins experience any of us has ever had. We left with food still on our plates and no intentions to take any leftovers. We won't be back. read more

Oh Perkins, what can I say about you? I have a special relationship with Perkins...and by special I mean that every single time I have a few too many adult beverages, I end up craving pancakes with berry syrup. Perkins is the only place that will quell this drunken need. The service is usually pretty good, the pancakes are ginormous and fluffy, and it is open 24 hours. What more do I need? I have been know to occasionally venture to Perkins while it is still light outside, without any alcohol in my system. On those rare occasions I usually indulge in their bread bowl salads. Bread happens to be my favorite food group....yes, just bread. So obviously I am going to be excited that they have dishes made of bread. Add that to the fact that they have really good Ranch dressing, it equals a very happy me. :) read more

Ok. So the manager working (Tuesday) was wonderful, but my sister ordered her kids food first because I was running late and the kids take time to eat anyway. The kids food arrived 15min after I got there and they ordered pancakes and eggs! When the kids food arrived I finally got to order a drink....water, she was busy and left the table for another 5min. She finally took the adults order. After 20min everyone got their order but me.....after 5min of me sitting there with no food she tells me that the kitchen didn't make my food and they are making it now...im okay with that. AGAIN!! Another 15min goes by!! She comes to me and says my food should be out shortly....I said no thanks, give me a box, im not eating here. First of all it took 20 for us to place our order. That should have raised some flags! Secondly, It took over 45 minutes for us to get our order? We are a family of 4, that's 2 adults and 2 children. Nothing special in our order. I just don't comprehend why it took so long and why were we not advised of the hold up? My 90 year old mother, my husband, our two toddler grandchildren and myself came in for breakfast after church and I brought my unopened can of LaCroix water in. Before we even ordered, the manager lady came over and told me "I don't care what's in that can, but you can't have it in here". I told her it was water and she got more belligerent and rude and said she didn't care. I said we won't be back and she said "I don't care". How rude can you be. I don't know why people have such a problem with Perkins. I mean it's Perkins. You can't go in thinking you are at a Michelin star restaurant. If you go in with that expectation, you will be disappointed. This Perkins did some remodeling and it looks very nice. Our waitress was so friendly and very on top of it. The food came out in a timely manner and it was delicious. I only go to Perkins for breakfast food and have never been disappointed. My favorite is the Eggs Benedict but this time I was going off my diet and having the lemon meringue blueberry pancakes. AMAZING! My husband got the strawberry brioche French toast and it was bit underwhelming. All in all, our experience was just as I would expect it to be at Perkins. read more

EVERY time I eat at this specific Perkins, something goes wrong. 2 months ago they double charged us for a meal on the tab and we didn't get a re-print of the bill, so we didn't know what we would be paying until we went up to the front to pay. Last month went to perkins again, starting to notice that theres no official "dress code" or uniform for the waitresses here some showing(neck, chest and back) tattoos and weird pants and low cut tops. I ordered a Belgian waffle and it came to me cold. colder than my hands that had just come from walking outside in below zero temps, and the waitresses excuse was: " they cool off really fast when we make them." if she had put it in the microwave I would have been none the wiser, if the butter isn't melting when you put it on top you should know its not warm. not to mention again that it was COLD. and today when my husband ordered , they did not have raspberry muffins the omelets come with a choice of muffin. he asked the server what muffins they had and she listed them off including raspberry. came back with the food and said "oh we don't have raspberry is there any other kind I can get you?" my husband just said "no, you can just take it off the bill, and this has happened every time I order this here." We will no longer be going to Perkins. just as a bitter sweet ending to this review, back when I was a little girl going here more than once a month on the weekends they had uniforms and service with a smile the food was always hot and in stock. I just went to this Perkin's on Friday night and simply put, I think the waiter who served us ruined our experience for 1) he didn't want to be there 2)He was not honest and WAS unclear in communication. The primary reason I will NEVER step into this Perkins again is because of the following: Right now, its Thanksgiving time and while they offer the 'Butterball Turkey & Dressing' dinner meal for 10.99 year around, they're offering a 'Complete Turkey Meal' the exact same meal with the addition of a "Free" slice of pumpkin pie...for 11.99! In case you don't see it... There is nothing free about the slice of pie. You're paying a dollar extra! I addressed this with the server with the intention of wanting to get the meal with the slice of pie but only on the condition that they honor the menu price. He said he would contact his management. He never did a goddamn thing. They should just be straight with customers and advertise the 'Complete' version for $1 more and the slice of pie and that's a great value!! So with that said, we wanted pie ANYWAYS. Ordered 2 slices which at night are 1/2 off! Great! And then he asks us if we want it 'A La Mode'(Ice cream scoop). Because he didn't mention anything about the A La Mode being an extra 2.49, we assumed the option wouldn't incur an extra charge. So we get the bill and I'm seeing my slice of pie(which was great) at 1.50 and then the 'A la Mode' as an additional 2.49. I feel like this guy scammed us with the extra charge and I will never forgive this dolt for it. I go to Perkins about 4-6 times a month between this location and Maple Grove's but with this bullshit not only did the server lose his tip money which we were planning on giving him 25% of the bill but he lost it by charging us 5 bucks for 2 scoops of bland ass ice cream and furthermore this location has lost my patronage because they can't simply be honest. Maple Grove has always been stellar and will be my spot for late night grub. read more

Sorry over the last few years we have given this place so many chances. Every few months or so we stop in because we really want it to be as good as the other perkins' around. The company is known for being kid friendly and we really , really would love this place to get their act together. We are not picky people, we tip generously and since I waited tables in the past are GREAT customers. This place every single time was horrible. Four of us went to this restaurant for coffee and pie following a show around 10 p.m. on a Friday evening. We were seated immediately and given menus. However, no one came back to take our order. My husband then informed a server in the area that we wanted to place our orders. There was another short wait and then a different server showed up and took our orders of coffee and pie. The coffee was not hot - warm but not hot. The pies were adequate but they heated up my pie and I prefer pie cold. The restaurant itself appeared to be an older Perkins with aging decor and carpet that could definitely use an update. The women's bathroom was adequate but could have used a cleaning. The server did take off the cost of my pie which was appreciated. Overall, I would say this is an old Perkins restaurant with below average service and average food. read more

I love perkins. It's been my favorite breakfast restaurant since I was old enough to ask for pancakes! However, this location is THE WORST! We only go there because my mom lives close by, but it's terrible! 3 times we've ordered BBQ cheese burgers and all 3 times they forgot the BBQ sauce! One time we made it all the way home before we realized it. The second time we checked it in the parking lot so we just went back in. That particular time they also forgot lettuce on one burger and fries were missing from another. The 3rd we were actually dining in. Another time I was there I found a small egg shell in my eggs. I didn't complain because it was so small. I took the rest home to eat the next day, and my eggs had more shell! Every peice I ate had shell in it. The stupid cook must of dropped a half egg shell in there and didn't have enough brain cells or just too lazy to make new ones. I was so discusted!! I e-mailed them and got no response. I've been eating perkins literally my whole life and have never been to such a poorly run location. I'm surprised they are still in business. Save your money. week-Edit Called in order. Showed up 10 minutes later.Then waited another 5 minutes to pay. Waited another 15 minutes for host to tell me they were out of what I wanted. Told them I wanted my money back. I was informed they could not give me my money back because I used a card and it could be up to 5 business day's to get the credit back on my card. On duty supervisor told me they could make me something else. By now 45 minutes have passed since I placed my order. They made me a substitute. I should have checked it before I left. There was about a 1/8 cup of oil that the onion rings were swimming around in. My burger looked like it had been sent back to the kitchen by a customer from earlier in the day. I took it back. The young lady behind the counter, after looking at the nasty oily onion rings, had the balls to ask me if I wanted them to make me more. I just wanted my money back. The lady was the same one involved throughout this fiasco. By this time they were willing to refund my money, 1 hour and 15 minutes after I first walked into the store.. By this time my blood sugar is crashing, I didn't get my food in time after taking my insulin. I had to rush to Super America across the street to get a candy bar and juice so I could make it home.
