Fresh food, hot and delicious!! Plenty of options to explore flavors I have no experience with at home! Great customer service, greeted with a smile. I very clean and spacious venue, decorated in everything Haitian I loved it. I will be sure to return and try something more adventurous for sure!!

If you're experiencing Haitian cuisine for the first time and you're close to Arlington, TX, this place is a perfect start. Spacious and they have games like UNO, Dominoes.

This was a great Birthday Gift to my self. I love and miss my country and this place brings home to Texas. This is the best spot in Texas to eat some réal Haitian food. Actually this is the only restaurant in Texas that's serves home made Haitian food. The service was fabulosa. It's a family restaurante and the music is wonderfull. It's a family friendly environment. My kids really enjoyed playing on the Little stage. I also enjoyed that fact they have a market store that you can buy food and other things. I purchased real Haitian haïr oil from there and I'm excited to try it. The food was very flavorful. Best ending to my 28th Birthday. Thank you for the great atmosphère and positive vibe. Merci beaucoup it was a vibe.

Legume, diri ak Djon Djon (black rice), bake mac n cheese

I was craving some Haitian food as I found out about this place on TikTok a few months ago. Being from NYC and moving to Dallas I knew it'd be hard to find Haitian food here but once I heard about it I was happy and when I went there, I can honestly say it did not disappoint. I had the legume with diri avek djon djon (mushroom rice or what Americans call Black Rice), the legume was on point so good. It honestly taste like authentic Haitian food like my mom and aunties would cook. My wife had the pork and it was so good and succulent. I don't usually eat pork but I had to for this. Really good food, service was also good. Portion were huge, so huge my wife save half of her food for dinner later

Boneless chicken curry w/potatoes was the size of 85% of container. I stuffed myself and added some homemade pepper sauce. The curry I would call Mild so the pepper sauce (mild-med) added a lil kick. So big that only a professional caribbean "roti" eater should attempt holding it to bite. I imagine most use a fork and knife. We also had the curried goat plate with rice&peas and cabbage. The Goat was very tender and good flavour. Well done chef! A house sorrel drink that was not over sugared! Some are too sweet so that was good. Overall I'd go back next time I'm in the area. Real Caribbean style food!

And the cabbage was fire, the rice and peas were fire, everything together was amazing. I also got beef, curry chicken and jerk chicken patties but we gobbled those up in the parking lot. The patties are so good, it's the reason we came to eat here. They played good music, a/c was nice and breezy and they had a store off to the side with products and drinks. Can't wait to come back!!

I have not lived in Dallas in a while. Base this review off of that knowledge…read more I have been to Aldeez several times in the past, at their old location. The new location has been several other businesses, over time, including a sushi spot and another lounge type set up, if I'm not mistaken. However, as the new home of Aldeez, I feel that it is lacking the old Je ne sais quoi of the old location. The new location is more modern, but seemingly empty of the Caribbean flare that we all so loved of the original location. All that being said, it took FOREVER for us to receive service, even though we were sitting at the bar and it was not very busy on a weekday. There was no hostess at the hostess stand, no bartender at the bar, and no staff in the place whatsoever from our initial interaction or lack there of. Unprofessional if you ask me! Which demoted this review by one star. All in all, however, the food was absolutely gob smacking. Cooked to perfection and served piping hot, which is what you want of any plate, let alone food from the diaspora. So thank you, Aldeez for not changing your recipes, expanding your menu, and keeping Dallas culturally sound through the years. Bravooooo!!! But please, for all things holy, hire more staff!!!
