Came here with my coworker for lunch and as I've never had Jamaican food I was excited for this visit. It's a small mom and pop shop and the customer service was decent. I ordered the Jerk Chicken and it comes with two sides (I got yams and okra and tomatoes) and they give you plenty! I can say I was surprised to see the yams and okra and tomatoes as I didn't associate that with Jamaican food. The okra and tomatoes were spiced nicely but a little mushy. The yams were very tardy and highlight of the meal! The jerk chicken had the typical spiced but was a tad bit dry. I was able to taste my coworker's order of plantain and I wasn't that impressed. I'm not sure I'd return to this location but I'll definitely try Jamaican food again!

I'm sorry but I can't get enough of this place! I come here for the oxtail plate with the macaroni and cheese with cabbage and it is ALWAYS ON POINT. I had been looking for authentic Jamaican food and finally found it. The portions are large and the food isn't pricey at all - and I love the mild beef patties! I'm glad I live a little far so I'm not there everyday!

Food: 7/10 Service: na Ambiance: na Okay hear me out ... it's delish and authentic, but could have more flavor. I've had authentic Jamaican food before and so far the BEST place to go remains Dallas farmers market downtown at the West Indies vendor. This place is a 2nd best though.

I almost didn't try this place because the Yelp rating was not above 4 Stars. Luckily, I have a separate set of rules for restaurants serving Pigs Feet and Goat dishes. Put those on the menu, and I'm showing up. Obviously, they did not disappoint!!!!! People, please wake up and realize one thing. Finding and devouring beautiful dishes is the goal of ordering food from a restaurant. JAMAICA MI HUNGRY SERVES BEAUTIFUL, DELICIOUS DISHES AND I AM OFFICIALLY A FAN. The End. JMH, See ya'll soon... and often. Be ready.

Best jerk chicken in DFW. It's juicy with a nice grilled smoke flavor and not baked. The Mac and cheese is delicious and they sell out all the time. Be patient because it gets busy and it can take 10-20 mins for your order but it's worth it.

I stopped here in my tractor trailer with no where to park but on the side of the road. But they got me in and out. The food was hot and fresh and very good. Restaurant was very clean and the husband and wife were very pleasant and nice!

If you are down in the Lancaster area, check out this spot right off the interstate. They have some of the best jerk chicken I've had in the city. I like that they keep the grilled jerk flavor and not just a run it in the oven with the gray ont top chicken. Black Eyed Peas and macaroni and cheese both were banging...plus I gotta mention they have a oxtail egg roll, make sure you oeder one if these delicious thangs. You'll definitely want to check this place out.

When we walked in, it was only people of color, so that indicator probably meant that i was in for a good authentic meal. The interior had multiple tables spreads around and on the right side of the building it was where the people were taking orders and preparing the food to take to your table. We ended up getting coco bread, chicken stew and half jerk chicken with fries. The stew came with two side dishes, so we ended up getting rice&peas and collar greens. The jerk chicken only came with fries but it was only 13 bucks. you do have the option to get jerk chicken with two sides, but that would have been 19 dollars. The coco bread was really fully and if you dip it into the stew chicken, it takes it to another level. Both dishes were excellent and the kick on the jerk chicken was spicy but not too bad where you couldn't enjoy it. Service was great, and they were friendly. Located right behind the McDonalds. All in all, i'll come back if i'm in the area.

I came in for lunch and ordered the jerk chicken lunch special with beans and rice and a side salad. The chicken was incredibly tender--fall-apart, melt-in-your-mouth good--and packed with flavor. Fair warning, it definitely brings the heat! It's on the spicy side, but in the best way possible. Absolutely delicious. The atmosphere adds to the whole experience. There was lively music playing, colorful decor throughout, and a beautiful Jamaican beach mural that makes you feel like you've stepped out of Texas for a minute. And of course, you'll spot Bob Marley on the walls, which just feels right. My server mentioned they've been around for about 15 years, and you can tell--it's a solid, well-loved local spot. Great food, fun vibe, and a place I'll definitely be coming back to.

Their jerk sauce is a little on the spicier side and sweeter than the ones we're used to in CA, but I guess every caribbean spot has their own take on the jerk sauce. I always get the jerk chicken with saffron rice and steamed spinach. Their chicken is super consistent and always juicy, which I appreciate. We bring everyone we know to this spot and they all have a great time. Their drinks are made pretty strong and there are a 2 limit drink per person for some. We definitely recommend this place! Shout out to SASHA! We've known her for 2.5 years because the first time we came here was 2.5 years ago! She is the best waitress and very attentive. We love her!

The establishment itself is small and when entering it isn't entirely clear if one is supposed to sit at a table and wait for a menu or order at the counter. We ended up ordering at the counter after the server gave us a menu. (A sign in future might be helpful). Our server was very nice and answered our questions as we tried to figure out what best to eat. Overall the food tasted good though I think I'm used to a more robust flavor. I would give the place more stars but for a few things: (1) it was 70ish degrees outside but it was warmer inside the restaurant (seemed like they had the heat going very strong); (2) there were cartoons playing on the only TV and it might have been nice to have music or other Chanel options but there were kids present so presumably the cartoons were for them; and (3) we were told there were no restroom facilities. This latter issue was very surprising as I believe it is against state regulations to not have public restrooms in an eatery. A sign alerting customers to this inconvenience might also be advisable.

Each day has a different menu but oxtails, curry goat and chicken are served daily. I believe the roti is only served on the weekends.
