There was big communication issues here. Quyen was very nice at first and made permanent eye brows for me and my neighbor. However, She didn't want to keep her word with me when I went back for a retouch after one month. She was very argumentative and gave me a hard time negotiating the return price. The front desk lady was very rude to me. I finally got what I wanted. My eye brows seem to look okay now. Quyen the manager was upset with me because I asked about the timing of the numbing medication. She rushed my retouch of EYEBROWS. She HURT ME VERY BADLY. THE PAIN WAS TERRIBLE. Please don't ever go here for eyebrow micro blading. Permanent makeup. She gets two stars because she tried a little. Please remember it was very little effort in keeping me comfortable throughout the procedure!!! read more

My experience was just, okay. I told reception I wanted to dip powder I sat down with someone and picked my colors, I wanted to do 5 different nude colors one different color for each nail. The second started applying my tips and then in the middle, a third lady came over they said something to one another in Vietnamese. The third lady confirmed what I wanted and started working on me. I've been going to this place for 5 years... most regularly for lash extensions (the most comfortable, affordable, and fastest application). My lashes always look next-level-luscious when I walk out of here. Occasionally I tone it back for a more subtle, natural look ("C" curl vs. "D") and they always listen to what I'm going for. My eyebrows get a micro-blade treatment about every two years with the owner Quyen. She does an excellent job and frames the face very well. She also has a client list for days so make an appointment! There's a completely new COVID set up. They've really done a good job trying for stay safe. I posted a few weeks ago commenting on the awful turn out of my "lash lift" that I received at EvaLash by Lynda. I was fine just moving on and going to a new salon (because the horrible treatment I got was too bad to go back to EvaLash). Unfortunately when I went to another lash bar, they were unable to perform my lash lift due to the severe condition of my lashes. The two consultants that looked at my lashes literally gasped at the sight of how dead and ruined my (formerly long) eyelashes were. I have had to spend too much money on various treatments to attempt to reverse EvaLash's/Lynda's terrible job but they still have not regenerated. One of my good girlfriends went in for a full lash extension install last Fri (4/7). She sent me like 100 pics and the lashes looked really nice. I got caught up in her excitement and called to make an appointment to no avail. I kept calling (at least 5x) at various times of the day until someone finally answered...A deposit was required for the appointment, but the person who answered the phone continued having side conversations as she attempted to process my transaction. This process took about 15 minutes and it felt like my call was totally inconveniencing her. In addition, she repeated my PII as she processed the payment. What In The World is this? Has anyone heard of Identity Theft? Well, just 3 days later, my friend was losing individual lashes and attempted to report her issue, again now answer. This delay in time, issues with the lashes, and the realities of allergy season snapped me back to reality. I decided to cancel my appt and experienced the recurring problem of no one answering... Finally, a distracted young lady answered today and told me she couldn't refund my deposit. I shared the policy (as I understand it) of customers being allowed to cancel at least 48 hours before their appt. She said, so it's too late for you to cancel. I'm like, No my appt is on Fri, 4/14 but I've been attempting to cancel since yesterday (4/10). She finally acted like she processed my request, but couldn't provide a cancellation or confirmation number... I asked when should I expect to see the refund, she said she didn't know and the call ended... I'll continue to monitor my account, but long story short; CUSTOMERS MATTER. Evalash, run your business better, train all customer facing staff members, and show some respect. Customers are not paying with peanuts. I was prepared to pay at least $160 for this service plus tips, but many services are much more expensive. Customer service is important regardless of how popular your techs have become. read more

This was the last salon near my location and it was still open at 7:00 on a Sunday night. I was delighted to say the least. I really needed the "pamper me"time! Most of all she truly listened to what I wanted and needed. Patient and knowledgeable, she made sure that I had a WONDERFUL experience. I was so pleased that I left her an extra tip after she left ( my gf was with me and was not yet finished). My girlfriend was very happy as well however she felt as if her artist could have been a little more appealing as far as they're interaction but she did a great job on her feet and we all know that's what really matters! I loved my experience here. I walked in without an appointment and was able to sit down for a mani and pedi immediately. The products were fine, but the real appeal was the excellent customer service and the offer for wine or water (water for me, but I appreciated the option). They even asked me if I wanted room temperature or chilled water! My regular mani has lasted almost 2 weeks without chipping and still looks great if a little grown out. The only gripe I have with the manicure itself is that they didn't explicitly get the dirt from gardening from under a nail (it wasn't a lot but I hadn't gotten to it yet). read more

As a small business owner myself and a LONG TIME client of this location, I am extremely disappointed in their business practices. I had a gift card that they refused to honor because it had expired. Money doesn't expire, so why should gift cards? Talk about shady business practices! I tried to support them during covid when I was not getting pedicures as I had a newborn at home. I asked my god-mother to get me a gift card from there so I could revisit it when I had my vaccines and once my baby was vaccinated as I was limiting any unnecessary exposure until my newborn was older. This nail place is hit or miss, but I won't be returning. My first visit was good - I had a manicure and then a french with one of the male employees who works there. It was done very well and lasted 2 weeks. I returned 2 weeks later and was sat with one of the women employees. The manicure was OK, but she did a terrible job filing my nails. They were uneven, some had square corners, some rounded, and the paint job was even worse. She did 3 coats of a dark red which ended up looking very chunky and thick. They ended up starting to peel after 4 days. :( What made it even worse was that one of the employees was cursing the whole time I was there and complaining about other customers. She was very loud and unprofessional - the whole thing made my feel uncomfortable. I started the appointment with a pedicure which was fine, but they don't have pedicure chairs. There is just a bench with pillows so it was pretty uncomfortable. I recommend Cindy's Nails or somewhere in the mall instead. read more

I was referred to Evalash by several people, and I was reluctant to get my brows micro bladed (tattooed) because of the high cost. However after my chemo treatments my eyebrows were almost invisible. The woman at Evalash, Quyen, was very experienced and impressive in her free consultation, and I was hooked. I couldn't wait to get it done, and I was not disappointed. I was thrilled, and wish I would have had this done years ago. I finally can come to breakfast without worrying about no brows! And the brows I had were uneven. Quyen took a long time to get my brows even before they were micro bladed. (Even brows are better for sunglasses and make you look younger!) The process didn't hurt much, and I didn't scab much either. I am really delighted with a new natural looking brow. The touch up made it darker which I prefer. Disappointed - booked for the organic mani/pedi - not sure what was organic about it. It was no different to any other nail service I've had before , so they should not advertise it as organic. I was also clipped/ cut on my big toe- I should have stopped the service then, fear of an infection, but I didn't. Don't know why. The Manicure - I chose Vinylux polish as it stays in a little longer- not even 24 hrs and it chipped on two nails / now taking it off after 3.5 days as a number of nails have chipped. I really hate having to leave bad feedback, but I feel compelled. I've been getting lash extensions for 6 years. After moving to the DC area, I've been on the hunt for a new place to get my fills. I found a great place in fairfax (Lash Jolie) that did a great job, but was just a bit too far a drive, so I decided to try Evalash. For starters, it's very difficult to get through. It rings and rings. When I finally got through after a few days, the person who I scheduled with said they'd have to do a full set, which I had plenty of very good quality lashes left. I said I wouldn't accept that and she scheduled me for a fill. After arriving there, I shared the what my prior lash girl had been using on me, but that was definitely not done. I was there for an hour and a half. She only did one eye at a time and it burned badly the entire time. She put sooooooo many ridiculously long and heavy lashed on. It looked ridiculous and was painful. Tons and tons of clumpy glue. I had to call my old lash girl to ask how to get them off. I've been steaming them and lightly rubbing with coconut oil to try to remove them. My natural lashes are wrecked. They also charge $100 for a fill, but clearly only get away with this because they're in Bethesda. Please do yourself a favor and don't go here for lash work. I'm sure they are lovely for manis and pedis, but not lashes. read more
