It's a wednesday first time coming at about 1030. No one is there so I order my food and sit down. There is no reason you serve precooked bacon from an oven and serve it cold. Next now I'm a white guy and they say white ppl only use salt and pepper for Seasoning. Well the owner must be a white guy as the potatoes are just cut up boiled potatoes with oil or something. No Paprika, no dehydrated onions , they don't even use the bacon grease for flavoring. The place while looked clean on the surface really wasn't. I ordered a pastrami. Nasty, nasty, nasty. It was like eating thick cut, chewy, fatty bacon. Worst ever in my life and I love pastrami. Take a lesson from the Hat. Thin cut pastrami that isn't thick and chewy like bacon. Go back to cooking school people! Actually bacon is better than your pastrami meat. So far all of the food that I have tried in the first few months of eating at Perry's are excellent. The people that work there are super friendly and they have great suggestions for my next item to try. The pancakes are just as good if not better than the Original House of Pancakes. The combination ground beef burrito was better than most fancy Mexican restaurant's. I can't believe that I waited so long to try this place. I told the ladies serving me that my goal was to try everything on the menu to see if there's anything I didn't love. Just FYI, this is a constantly evolving review because I have a busy life and have a hard time finishing in one sitting. I was wanting to have my dad try their food so I took him a pastrami sandwich and an order of onion rings. The next day I asked what he thought about the pastrami sandwich and he replied with a picture of chorizo and eggs he just ordered at the Placentia Perry's! The latest suggestion from one of the lovely people there was the French toast and it diffidently didn't disappoint. I want to say how much that I appreciate their tribute and decorationsupporting local schools and iconic Anaheim locations. Lastly, the breakfast potatoes are the best I've ever had. Please visit this wonderful place that serves great food and really nice people that work there. Decided to come here to eat during my lunch. I ordered zucchini's and tbh they tasted rancid. Had to throw them away because they had a weird taste to them. The service was fast and friendly though. It was very nice coming to a business that plays modern Christian music. That started my experience here very well. I ordered huevos rancheros, and a side half order of biscuits and gravy. The huevos rancheros was good, the eggs cooked well, but it wasnt the same recipe as before this is very apparent in the taste and texture still goid though. The biscuits and gravy were, I'm sad to say terrible. The biscuits were very very hard and flat, not soft and fluffy as before. The gravy was very much missing the mark in taste texture and very uninviting. The only worst would be mine if I made that. Let this be known, as a Jesus Christ follower, it hard when I have to say negative words about a Christian business, however people are spending their money here. So they need to know what to expect. I'm impressed totally hit the spot for my hamburger cravings. I've been having last three months a lot better than I thought.
