Huge selection of sandwiches and very affordable. I ordered small 8-inch Turkey, Provolone cheese on a white roll with extra Avocado. It comes with lettuce, tomatoes, onions pickles, and mayo. I was kind of disappointed that I paid extra for an avocado and didn't see any slices, but it was lightly spread on one side of the bread. Overall, the sandwich looks disgusting. The sliced of meat was low quality and not fresh. There is self-wrapping station where you can wrap your own uneaten leftover sandwich to go. The young girl who took my order was friendly. Tummy Stuffer 101 Sandwiches has been around for about 30 years, so I figured it was finally time to give them a try. I went with the pastrami sandwich, and while it was decent, it just didn't quite live up to what I was hoping for. As for the sandwich, the bread was okay, but the pastrami was a little dry and the portion was lighter than I expected. There wasn't a whole lot of lettuce, tomatoes, or pickles either, so it felt like it could've used a little more all around. At around $13, I don't mind paying that price if I'm getting a generous sandwich. In this case though, based on the portion size, it felt more like a $7 or $8 sandwich. One thing I always try to do before judging a place is give it more than one chance. Sometimes you catch a restaurant on an off day, or maybe you just didn't order the right item. So I'm definitely not writing this place off. I'll come back and try a different sandwich before making up my mind. For this visit, I'd give the pastrami sandwich about a 5 out of 10. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't one I'd go out of my way for. I'm hoping my next visit changes my mind because I'd really like to see what else they have to offer. read more

I just had a horrible interaction at this restaurant. We got in the door at 3:35 pm and was "greeted" by the lady at the counter who said "we close in 20 minutes and everything is to go". This place is right by my office and I always drove past wanting to try it out. I finally went one day out of curiosity and I went during lunch. I was surprised that so many people came here, it was so packed. It has a pretty big dining area and still had lots of seats open. I think most people just come here to pick up. Despite the line growing and growing, they still worked fast and efficiently making sure that orders came out timely. I decided to try the meatball and cheese sub and honestly it exceeded all my expectations. I had the perfect lunch to eat. It was delicious and simple. Today, I tried the meatball and sausage sub. This was my to go to place for a good tuna sandwich. I was craving a meatball sub and decided to stop by. My order took longer than usual and the owner apologized for the wait. She mentioned she wanted to make it fresh and it's taking a bit longer. I was in no rush and waited another 5-6 minutes. I received my sandwich and took it to my office about a mile away. I bit into it and the meatballs were cold. I contacted the shop and the owner apologized. She told me to come back to get a new one. I explained since it took longer than expected, my lunch break was over and I could not come back. She offered me a replacement whenever I can make it back. That brings me to today. I stopped by to grab a sandwich. I mentioned to the owner who I was and she remembered. She had my order hanging on the wall as a reminder. Her husband asked her what was wrong and she said, he's the guy that got the cold meatballs. They both look at me and I mention I am going to wash my hands. As I walk back out, I'm out of view from the counter. The lady cook in the back says, "he said the meatballs were cold? I will make them so hot they burn his mouth" and they all start laughing until they saw me come around the corner and another employee shushed her and they all went silent and stopped laughing. First timer at Tummy Stuffer. I still remember when it was a Blimpie's sub probably 20+ years ago and I've driven by this place 100 times. I ordered a large Monster on wheat: roast beef, turkey, ham, Swiss cheese, bacon and avocado. Added cherry peppers which was an additional charge of $1.50 (thought that was pretty steep). Total came out to $13 and change. I have to say I was pretty disappointed with the amount of meat; for a $13+ sandwich called the Monster at a spot called Tummy Stuffer I was expecting much more quantity. This was more like Subway portions, one thin layer of each meat and one small strip of bacon. The sandwich was pretty bland, some salt and pepper would've probably gone a long way. The positive was that the interior is very clean and there is plenty of seating. Service was very quick and to the point. That being said, I can't justify the price for the sandwich I got.
