Tried Perry's for breakfast. Everything was average, not bad, but certainly not good either. French toast was fine, as were the eggs and bacon. Service was fine, again middle of the road. Price was a little high, especially considering the quality of the meal and service. But that could be caused by the $20 per hour minimum fast food wage in California. read more

Wow! Just astounded by this deal with everything going on and inflation rising up to the ceiling! We went through the drive through and got their 4 for $19.99 deal which includes 4 burgers, fries, and fountain drink. Keep in mind the deal is only after 2 pm and there doesn't seem to be any limitations on which day. We came today (Sunday), and the drive through line only had 2 other cars ahead of us. The amount of food was much more than enough and I tight it would be small due to the great deal they had. Keep in mind cheese is extra cost. We got everything with cheese for $25 and some change. Ample parking and clean restaurant. Service was 5/5. I liked the 3 real scrambled eggs on my #5 breakfast platter at $14. The bacon was salty and super crisp. The #5 comes with 3 eggs, bacon or sausage, and a half order of biscuits and gravy. Look at that plate! I wonder how big a full order of biscuits and gravy might be. The gravy was decent - likely homemade. It was a little bland and not enough microscopic meat pieces to see what it is based on. Still, I ate it all. The biscuits were fine but lacked the tang of buttermilk. I would still order this again but if I had my choice I would trade 2 of the biscuits halves for some potatoes. I will also ask for some salsa next time to liven up the gravy. read more

Had breakfast here recently and definitely hit the spot. Large generous portions for all their meals, I had their pancake breakfast and I couldn't finish it all. Great diner food and reasonable prices (which is hard to find nowadays!). The way you order here is order at the counter and they bring your food to you. The person behind the counter was patient with our large group and had some great recommendations since this was our first time. I went to the drive thru there at apx 1145 AM today.I live close by & have been coming here for years before it changed to Perrys. I purchased a pastrami combo, (with fries and a drink) . I live about 7 minutes away. I got home to eat & opened the to go box which had sandwich & fries in it together. The fries were cold & sofyt, soaked with oil. I come from the restaurant industry, it seemed ither the oil was cold or the fries were par cooked but not cooked the 2nd time. They were soft and wet ,(oily) you could actually squeeze the fry & oil was dripping out. They were gross. I ate only half of 1 fry.. My complaints about the pastrami except it was single wrapped so the oil saturated the sandwich wrapper & bun. The meat was good. For just under $22.00 this stupid mistake should not happen. Much better when it was toms place. No more Perrys for me Farmers Boys is much better 2 blocks west. read more

I can't believe I'm saying this, Perry's Place has the worst Chicken and Waffles. I've ever had in my entire life. Their service was absolutely terrible the drive thru lady named Carmen was totally rude and disrespectful to me and my Mom, who wanted to get a quick bite to eat and go home to relax. They say they have the best Chicken and Waffles, which is a total lie they have 100% false advertising saying it's good, and in reality it was disgusting. Their Chicken was dry and it was undercooked, and there was lots of blood in it, I count even finish it. The Waffles tasted really weird like it was cooked 3 days ago it was so bad, and it tasted like they dumped 100 pounds of cinnamon on it and it ended up giving me diarrhea for a week. My stomach hurt so bad it took me a long time, for it to recover it hurt so bad, that they should be shut down immediately by the city. If you want to eat at Perry's Place don't run away, run as far away from this place and don't ever get their food here you'll end up having the runs. read more

Went through the drive thru on Saturday May 10th order cheese burger and fries box including a turkey wrap. Not sure how the food is if you eat with in the restaurant. Our food look like it was made in rush, our fries were soggy even though we've asked for extra crispy. The cheese burger was very sloppy and fallen apart upon unwrapping. The turkey wrap $13.99 majority was lettuce and looked old, other ingredients were good. However, for the price I don't it was worth it. I might try this place again but not using drive thru. 5/10 read more

I come here all the time since I'm in walking distance. It is very clean and efficient. They have TVs on to watch sports and other things. You make your own soda which I love because I can get a refill or two. Some of the items are better than others. I always get the breakfast burrito with everything (ham bacon sausage onions potatoes peppers cheese). Yes they are a little heavy handed with the potatoes so get another kind of that's not your thing. They have a lot of choices of breakfast items. Good pancakes. I love their single order tacos. Can't go wrong there for $6.00 giant taco. Bean and cheese burrito is great but big so split it. I don't like their salsa but I'm super picky. I do like the sour cream that's in it. Burgers, salads, sandwiches, fries are good standard food. Never had their dinner options. Not a fan of their pastrami. All in all a decent clean place to eat, sit and relax. Pretty decent food. Pretty horrible service. Wife and I have been getting breakfast burritos here for the past few years. But seems to have gone down hill since switching to 'Perry's'. Last few times we have called in pick up orders the food hasn't been ready and the staff acts like we are a huge inconvenience to them. Today was probably or last time eating here. Called in the order for three burritos, told 20-25 min. When we got there the drive thru lady was rude. Told us we need to park and wait (all fine and understandable). At 45 mins and after seeing multiple other people go in to check on their orders, I park and go in. Cashier is downright rude and acted like it was my fault for call it in an order. The food is decent but not good enough for them to act like they are doing me a favor. Anyone have recommendations for a place that serves good breakfast burritos with a smile? read more

Today was my second visit at Perry's Place. This restaurant is a great place for small gatherings! Best dinner deal (after 2pm) special is the 4 burgers, 4 fries and 4 soft drinks for $19.99! For just a buck more you can add cheese. You can't beat $25 to feed 4 people. The burgers are cooked in a great set up line. The cashiers are all lovely and attentive.
