Having raw mushrooms in a sandwich is really not it, and considering each sandwich here is about $16+ post tax and tip (yes I did tip), I think we can expect a little better quality, or at the very least, not having basically raw mushrooms in a sandwich. While they do have many sandwiches to choose from on such a vast menu, and everything is customizable (just with additional charges), it does feel like they'd do better if they nail down some of the details like making sure their cooked ingredients are actually cooked. All that said, the store is kept clean, there's some dine in tables as well as outdoor seating. The music indoors is kept loud, and the decor is very colorful and bold. Service feels like what you'd expect from employing recent high school or college students at their first jobs, but it's always been polite. While I stick to Costco and Trader Joe's for most of the Italian basics, Claro's is where I come for the next level stuff, and the prices are very reasonable. Risotto rice! Calabrian chilies! Guanciale!!!! The meat deli is amazing. Kobe roast beef!!! You can even sample their stuff too before you get it. Service is super friendly and helpful. Sandwiches are delicious.
