    Prime Ribeye

Okay wow. Perry's Steakhouse & Grille was fancy in every possible way. Romantic, intimate lighting, super polished space. The service really made it though. Our server was unreal. She was funny, warm, knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and somehow kept us laughing the whole time. She recommended the Prime Ribeye. For a drink, I ordered the Pineapple Ginger Ale from their shaken sodas. Fresh muddled pineapple, mint, lime, topped with ginger ale. Super refreshing and clean. Honestly perfect before a steak. When the ribeye hit the table, it looked incredible. Deep, dark sear with real char, crispy edges, butter melting on top, juices already running. First cut was tender and cooked just right. That first bite made me pause. Smoky crust, rich beefy flavor, buttery finish all at once. The fat was rendered perfectly, adding flavor without being greasy. I kept cutting smaller pieces just to make it last. I'll definitely be back to work through more of the menu. This one stuck with me.

I usually take my direct reports out for dinner for the holidays, allowing them to pick the place of their choice. Since this location was close to home for the three of them, Perry's was the choice for dinner. I realize that this establishment is nothing like Cooper's Hawk, but I can't help feeling that there are similarities in terms of the service and decor. I will say that all points were hit at this location with the exception of not having that Turtle Gumbo (complete with Sherry on the side) that the Schaumburg location had earlier this year. That said, I am giving this location total props for their loaded mash potatoes were on point! I could have just eaten those all by themselves! For an appetizer I got the steak lettuce wraps. While quite tasty, they were a little hard to eat as a wrap, so I ended up knife and forking it. For dinner I had the surf and turf (steak and lobster tail). Flavor-wise, this was a tasty dish, but I was a little put off my the presentation. Visually I kept thinking about how fajitas look with oil in the bottom of the serving dish. My direct reports all loved their meals and were especially in love with the grilled veggies and pork lollipops. I thought the corn brulee was interesting. Sort of reminded me of a skillet prepared cream of corn dish. I enjoyed it. My direct reports also loved the various cocktails they ordered. As this event was about them, not me, it was a success because they all had a great time and the bill was on me as a way of showing my gratitude for being a great team and making me look great as a manager.

I visited Perry's Steakhouse in Oak Brook for Restaurant Week, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt upscale but comfortable--perfect for a special night out without feeling stuffy. I started with the Caesar salad, which was crisp, fresh, and well-balanced--not overdressed, just right. The oysters on the half shell were clean, fresh, and flavorful, served ice-cold and done exactly how oysters should be. The star of the night was the famous pork chop cut--and wow. Massive, tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. It was juicy on the inside with a beautiful crust on the outside, easily one of the best pork chops I've ever had. Even as part of the Restaurant Week menu, the portions and quality did not feel scaled down at all. Service was attentive and professional throughout the meal, and Restaurant Week felt like a true experience--not a watered-down version of the menu. Perry's delivered on food, service, and overall vibe.

When a classic steakhouse meets Cheesecake Factory indulgence, you get Perry's in Oak Brook--big menu, big flavors, big portions. Perry's feels every bit the upscale steakhouse with sleek, dim lighting and polished service, but its menu is far from minimalist. Think fried asparagus, loaded sides, rich sauces, and cocktails with flair. It's bold, indulgent, and unapologetically grand. Service * Polished, attentive staff who know their menu and guide you through the choices * Friendly and articulate, with a true steakhouse level of professionalism Food * Lobster Bisque - slightly thinner than usual but deeply flavorful, rich spice, and perfectly paired with warm bread * Famous Pork Chop - the star of the show; smoked, seven fingers thick, carved into three sections (chop, fatty cut, and ribs). Caramelized crust, tender and juicy inside--hands down the best pork chop I've ever had * Loaded Mashed Potatoes - creamy, hearty, and perfect alongside that pork * Prime Rib (Thursday Special) - didn't try it this time, but it's smoked and seared steak-style--definitely on my list for the next visit Drinks * Fashioned First - Perry's take on the Old Fashioned; beautifully balanced and possibly the best I've had. The vanilla rounds the classic drink nicely. Verdict Perry's is the kind of place where you lean into the indulgence--a celebration spot with food that feels as special as the occasion. Yes, parking can be tricky at Oakbrook Center, but valet makes it easy. Between the stellar service, smoky flavors, and over-the-top menu, Perry's earns a confident five stars and a guaranteed return trip from me.

Came here for an anniversary dinner and had a great time! Diana was our waitress who was attentive , kind and helpful! They were playing great music but it wasn't so loud you couldn't hear yourself. Really beautiful restaurant with great food! We came in and did the 3 course Sunday supper deal and got the wedge salad, and pork chop entre ( with extra garlic butter, pro tip). Both were up to Perry's standards. The crème brule was also delicious and the rose petals were such a nice touch! A beautiful night! Thank you Perry's!!!!

Everything was amazing! And they were very accommodating. There was ONLY an 8oz filet on the menu, but I thought it was too much. I asked for a 6oz. instead. They were able to respond positively to my request. When my steak arrived, I quickly learned that it was wrapped in bacon, a little detail that was omitted from the menu. The bacon presented a dilemma for me. When I informed my waiter, Vincent, they quickly corrected the matter and delivered a deliciously perfect 6oz filet. I also had one of the best house salads I've ever tasted in my life! The pecans truly set off the arugula. I'm a fan of vegetables! Whenever I have a chance to order Creamed Spinach, I do. Most times it's a hit or miss proposition! That was not the case at Perry's. They have the best Creamed Spinach I've had to each anywhere in the world! I'd gladly travel 50+ miles round trip to Perry's for a dish of creamed Spinnach! For dessert, I had the White Chocolate Cheesecake. Not only was it delicious, the presentation added to the deliciousness, enough to overlook the extra pounds I gained!

Finally tried this place for Chicago Restaurant Week and definitely recommend. The ambience is amazing with rich undertones. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our date night. Out server LV was the best and attentive. For appetizer, we had the Truffle Spinach and Artichoke Dip which was delicious. I've had the wedge salad and he had the Caesar salad. I was impressed with his salad came with anchovy. I've had the Filet Perry with lump crab and he had the 14 oz Ribeye along with us shared a loaded mashed potatoes. The food was really good. For dessert, we had the I believe we had the white chocolate cheesecake. Everything was so good, we took to go. Definitely will be back soon. Thanks Perry's!

Such an amazing restaurant! The restaurant is modern yet classy. We were seated quickly on a Thursday night. Our server was very attentive and knew the menu well. The menu has lots of options. I highly recommend the pork chop bites, au gratin potatoes, and Gulf Fried Shrimp. It was all delicious!

Had a great time during their Happy Hour in their bar area. Had a few of their drinks; Cucumber blueberry martini (very sweet and taste like a watermelon jolly rancher), The Godfather returns (very strong for me), and ended with their Expresso Martini (very delicious and my favorite that night). Tried a few appetizers; Smoked Salmon (wasn't bad, but don't eat it with the mini toast -super salty), Steak & Tater tot bites (Tater tot overwhelmed the steak), and the Seafood stuffed mushrooms (very large and definitely stuffed, would recommend to get). We also came across the Burger they have during happy hour in their bar menu. It came with fries and Old Fashion drink. The burger was really good and would definitely come back for the burger. We had it well done and was very tender. Flavors was just spot on. Ended with their Flourless chocolate slice. Was rich in chocolate. Was a small slice, but it was perfect for us after all the food we had. Also they have a Gluten free menu and waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu.

Came here for a birthday happy hour. The server was very knowledgeable regarding celiac - gluten free. The drinks were delicious and so was the food. I ended up ordering sides and GF French onion soup. They also brought GF bread to start for me. The server made sure to bring out a celebration GF dessert for us to sing.

We had a group of six yesterday evening for dinner. Two of our couples were retiring from an exchange program, and the coordinators were thanking as for our years of service. As we seated at the table, our waitress picked up right away that we had so much to talk about and so she gave us a lot of breathing room. She kind of tapped us one at a time to get our drink order, never interrupting the flow of conversation. After we had our cocktail and had settled in, she asked us if we were ready to order or if we needed more time to catch up. We ordered and everything came out at a perfect pace! The food was fabulous as always but our server last night made all the difference in our experience! . It was a wonderful celebration for us in a chance for us to say goodbye and speak a bit about the future. I did share this with one of the managers, but I wanted to make sure I also spoke about this on Yelp so others might know how top-notch the service is!

Perry's is my favorite steakhouse. The 3-bone pork chop is the most tender and flavorful pork chop that I've ever had and it rocks every time I go. I also love to get the fried asparagus topped with crab meat when I go. I love the happy hour food specials and drinks. The thyme lemon drop is my favorite happy hour drink. They have fantastic customer service and the ambience is immaculate. What a beautiful calming restaurant.

I loved the vibe here at Perry's. We started with chargrilled oysters that were phenomenal. For a party of 4 we were sure happy we chose a dozen to order. These will not disappoint I promise you. We also ordered the lobster bisque , it was excellent. For drinks, I had the salted caramel espresso martini and it was delicious. Everyone else loved their drinks as well they ordered the cucumber blueberry martini, thyme lemon drop and Paloma . It's a pretty big place but still felt intimate. Loved the ambiance. For our main dish I had the see bass that was delicious. My husband had the ribeye and truffle fries. He loved them both. They are known for their pork chops so we will definitely be back. The service was great no complaints.

Spring Rd. Gibsons has long been known as a go-to for a slightly upscale steakhouse experience in the suburbs. I hadn't been in years, but we were in the area and decided to go somewhere a bit nicer for dinner to celebrate my birthday, so we gave Gibsons another try. One highlight was the complimentary valet service, it was quick, easy, and very efficient. The restaurant was busy with lots of families and celebrations. The interior has a classic, almost mob-era steakhouse vibe, reminiscent of old-school 1930s-40s Italian-American dining rooms. Service was friendly and accommodating throughout the night. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and for my entrée I had a ribeye with a side of potatoes and broccoli. My friend ordered a filet mignon salad. We also shared a side salad. The food was solid overall, but the salads were a bit watery, and the ranch dressing was just okay. The steak was good, but not quite the standout I expected given the price point, ribs are close to $70, so expectations are understandably high. Everything felt consistent, but not particularly memorable. That said, Gibsons does feel very steady and familiar, which may be part of its appeal. It's the kind of place people return to because they know exactly what they're going to get. Even the bread was fine, but nothing really stood out as exceptional. One of the more memorable (and amusing) parts of the experience was the birthday tradition. I still can't fully make out what they're saying during the birthday song, it's loud, a bit barked, and honestly both funny and slightly intimidating. I can't decide if I love it or would be terrified by it as a kid. There was also an interesting moment with dessert, my ice cream was placed in a plastic bag inside a box of ice. Creative, but not exactly elegant. I definitely didn't eat it, but it was memorable in its own way. Overall, if you're looking for a consistent, classic steakhouse experience that leans more familiar than elevated, Gibsons fits that role. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

The low lighting creates a more intimate vibe, making it a great place for a date night, dinner with friends, or even a relaxed evening meal. The food is consistently good, and the drinks are always on point. This time I ordered the baby back ribs with mashed potatoes, and it was my first time trying that dish there. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone good, and the mashed potatoes were a perfect pairing. My friend ordered the pork chop, butterflied and cut open, and she said it was simply amazing. The service was amazing my server was top of the line. She checked up on us every chance she got she made us laugh and enjoy our experience even more. The ambiance was amazing very light dim with a touch of romance giving it the right atmosphere for us. We also received a special cake for our anniversary which was a plus. 100/10

When we arrived for lunch, it didn't seem too busy but it's better safe than sorry. It's been years since I last went to Wildfire. We were seated right away and our server, Anthony, did a great job explaining the menu and monthly specials. Our meal started with the bread basket which is always a plus. I ordered the chilled lump crap and shrimp salad off the specials. It tasted super fresh and came with a reasonable portion of protein. The overall presentation was a bit sad but I guess there is only so much you can do with a salad. It tasted good and that's what really matters. Service did seem to slow down by the end of our meal though. It took a while to get the check and an even longer while for someone to collect the check. Overall, though, a solid dining spot to celebrate something special or even just a casual shopping day.

She also didn't introduce herself when she approached the table. She stopped at the table next to us which had already been served and they were done eating twice before she approached our table. We waited almost 10 minutes just for water which to me is unacceptable because they were not that busy or crowded The ambiance was okay, average steakhouse vibes nothing impressive in my opinionI Now for the food...which honestly was mediocre. And before you say, I could've gotten something else because this is a steakhouse. I did not want a steak and I came here on the recommendation of my family. Bison meatballs 5/10: the best part of this dish was the tomato sauce but I will say you get a decent portion. The meatballs lacked flavor but the tomato sauce helped Mediterranean chicken skewers 8/10: the chicken wasn't dry, but it lack flavor. The sauce was really good, but portion size is minimal. Angus burger 7/10: burger was cooked as requested and had decent flavor. The fries were also good. Chicken club 5/10: changed the cheese to Gouda and added red onions to the burger. The chicken was flavorless and a little dry the mayo mustard sauce really helps. The fries are really good and they have a nice barbecue sauce if you like fries with barbecue sauce. Pineapple margarita 7.5/10: didn't care for the salt on the rim but this didn't lack flavor and had decent amount of liquor. Martini flight 10/10: mango and apple are the best flavors but they're all pretty good. Nice to get if you want different martini flavors. Overall, I don't think I'd come back to this establishment. The service was very lackluster. The food was also not that great in my opinion.

The calamari and Wagyu beef dumplings apps were both very good. Brian also gave us a couple free bisques as the wait was a bit long. The issue was 2/3 steak we ordered were way overdone. That is always a bummer when you have people without their meals. For the price, you have to send it back. My rib eye was very good but my wife and daughter's filets were well done vs medium rare. The venue Wasn't too crowded which was a plus. I decided to have dinner with reservations @3pm with the App OpenTable. On time for my reservation with no wait time! Seated immediately, I was excited to have my waitress named Arielle. Immediately, she accompanied me with complimentary bread and water along with the restaurant cocktail and food menus. She was very happy to be able help in any way to make me comfortable and was just a joy to have. My first course was the Iceberg wedge BLT, with my cocktail smoked old fashioned. For the second course I spoiled myself with the filet medallions with lobster tail Oscar style accompaniment sides; truffled mac&cheese, and crab fried rice with mushrooms and scallions. Sheeeshh! That meal was phenomenal! Lobster sat perfectly on top of the beef medallions as they both were served and with gratitude I ate every bit of it! Truffled Mac & cheese were so cheesy it was a perfect mouthful. The rice also had some delicious flavors that enticed my tastebuds with savory goodness! Everything was GOODT! Easter Sunday with great food, good company, and dope service ! Check em out!

We started with some lobster bisque and a lump crab cake appetizer. The bisque was sublime. The crab cake was mostly crab and paired with a delicious mustard sauce. My only complaint was that I wanted more. Having recently experienced a subpar upscale chain restaurant steak dinner at another restaurant, I was gun shy to order a steak, but was rewarded with one of the most tender and tasty cuts of beef in the Chicago suburbs. The literal topper was the red wine reduction...so good! My companion ordered (and shared!) the grilled scallops. A generous serving of tender, succulent scallops on a bed of delicious risotto. The combo made a great surf and turf experience. Desserts at these types of restaurants can be so overwhelming that even the thought of sharing seems like too much. But here, we had perfectly sized portions and a wonderful selection of treats to cap a great meal. We each ordered a different treat and it was the perfect amount. We are looking forward to bringing friends and family to return visits. Soon.

We sat in the bar and had a great server named Shawn. Shawn was engaging and provided great service. I'll definitely request him next time I visit. I wasn't drinking that night, but hubby solo'd it with a bourbon cocktail called a Paper Plane. He said it was very tasty, especially on the hot day. We shared the ahi tuna tartare to start. The tartare was a stack of tuna with tropical salsa and avocado. So fresh. It came with a basket of crispy lavish bread, I hope when the restaurant switches their recipe that they will continue making a seedless lavish for those who can't do nuts or seeds. Hubby had the wood grilled tenderloin salad for dinner. I had to get a taste of that tenderloin because it was cooked perfectly. It was so tasty and seasoned well. I had the wood grilled Idaho rainbow trout, swapping out the asparagus for carrots. The trout came with a dill mustard sauce which I nixed and just squeezed fresh lemon on the fish. The fish was moist and smoky. Of course, we had to get the little dessert shooters to end the meal. Hubby had the Belgian chocolate s'mores, which was ridiculously decadent. I had the more conservative raspberry cannoli dessert. These tiny sweet treats are delicious mini indulgences. I love them because you want something a little sweet at the end of a meal but don't want a huge dessert. I think they're perfect. I like Seasons 52 because every item on the menu has the calories listed. Their food is always very good and the service is top-notch. When I ordered the tuna appetizer, a manager came over right away and asked me about a seed allergy because they noticed I said no nuts and seeds on my reservation. They really pay attention to their customers needs. I highly recommend Seasons 52. Ask for Shawn!

Steakhouses are not really my thing; I can count on my fingers the number of times I've been to one in my life. But Ditka's seemed intriguing because it was just around the corner from my parents' house. I am really glad this is where I saw the game and can concur with other Yelpers. This is not a Bears-themed steakhouse as much as it is a steakhouse with some Ditka art. Don't expect to see wall to wall memorabilia. But what this place does exceptionally well is food and service. The attentiveness was perfect - not obsequious, not absent. I ate lots of different sides and they were all good: the house salad; oven-fired bread; jalapeño hasbrowns; etc. Even though I did not try any of the entrees or steaks, this is clearly a restaurant for people who care about food.
