We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make it feel like a special occasion. We've been to Eddie V's in the city before, so we were familiar with the food and upscale ambiance and this newer location absolutely did not disappoint. We opted to sit in the bar area to enjoy the live music on a Tuesday evening, which added a great touch to the atmosphere. Our server, James, was excellent. He surprised us with two complimentary glasses of champagne and was attentive throughout the entire dinner. A manager even stopped by to wish us a happy anniversary and personally let us know if there was anything they could do to make the evening as enjoyable as possible. Again very thoughtful gestures to make the evening feel special. To start, we had caught the last few minutes of happy hour oysters, which were very fresh and a dollar off each. The lump crab cakes were generous and tasty. I ordered the bone-in New York strip, cooked perfectly and incredibly juicy. The butter-poached lobster mashed potatoes were fluffy, creamy, and rich in flavor. My wife chose the filet with lobster tail, which was also outstanding. Overall, it was a memorable evening with exceptional service and delicious food. I'm sure we'll be back at some point in the future. 'Til next time, cheers!

This was our first time trying out Eddie V's. We went on 12/24/25 to celebrate my birthday. I had no idea that people would be flocking here on Xmas Eve. The parking lot was obnoxiously packed. Thankfully, we were seated not too long after we checked in. I already had a reservation. Capital Grill does it better for special occasions, but I wrote birthday for special occasion at Eddie V's. The table wasn't decorated, my waiter didn't acknowledge, and I didn't get a birthday dessert. This place is good for any random night but yeah celebrate your special occasion elsewhere. Besides that, service was great. We ordered jumbo lump crab cake, parmesan sole, NY strip, truffled mac and cheese, and honey sriracha roasted brussel sprouts. We didn't order dessert since none of the items really stood out to me. Overall, the experience was 3 out of 5. -jumbo lump crab cake 5 - shareable between two people. I really enjoyed the flavor. -parmesan sole 5 - highlight of the meal. It was flaky, moist, and delicious. Big portion too. -NY strip 5 - we wanted medium rare but the first time they brought it out, it was well done. They took it back and brought it medium rare. The medium rare tasted good. -truffled mac and cheese 2 - there were some truffles in here but you won't really taste it. The taste is basically just regular mac and cheese. -sriracha roasted brussel sprouts 3 - it was okay. When I reheated it at home, it was kind of salty. At the restaurant it was fine. You definitely need to eat it with rice or pasta.

Had an Amazing Dinner on August 1, 2026 at Eddie V's, 3001 Butterfield Road, Oakbrook, IL. Everything was delicious. The dinner started with a very nice and professional server that brought complimentary warm bread and soft butter to the table. The appetizer was the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. The entree was the Filet Medallions Oscar Style and the Crab Fried Rice which I LVE! The Crab Fried Rice was the best part of the meal; it is SOOOooo good. I had never had Crab Fried Rice until I had it at Eddie V's. The restaurant is very clean, the table cloths are white and spotless. The staff is professional and friendly. I will definitely dine at Eddie V's again and again. FYI - The following week I tried the Crab Fried Rice from the local Chinese restaurant; it was very disappointing and nothing like the Crab Fried Rice from Eddie V's. The local Chinese restaurant used cut-up imitation crab meat in the rice instead of real crab meat. After enjoying Eddie V's Crab Fried Rice it is very difficult to enjoy Crab Fried Rice from the local Chinese restaurants.

Amazing service and the food was mouth watering delicious! I'm gluten free and plenty of options! We had a party of 7, and everyone was very happy and we really enjoyed the warm ambiance. A few of us got the goat Cheese mushroom salad, and we all thought it was so good! Loved the scallops! Brandon our server was professional and very easy to work with!! My husband loved his crab cake and bisque. The cocktail with basil oil was fantastic!! Thank you Brandon for making sure my gluten free allergy was seamless and safe.

Great overall dining experence. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The decor was on par with traditional steakhouse. Dark wood, chandelier low lighting with ample an mix of booths and tables. Very nice bar area with live music. If you prefer, you could easily have a light dinner at the bar. Upon being seated, we were greeted by our server Tere. She was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and her recommendations were on point. She had precision timing when bring out the next course......Simple wonderful service. The food: I must mention, this was my birthday celebration. My wife's birthday was earlier in the month and we had a disastrous dinner at a restaurant that shall not be named. So she was skeptical, since this was out first time here. For appetizers we had the lump crab cake and a half dozen oysters. Both were excellent. Tere suggest the type of oysters. They had four types. I was pleased with her suggestion. Our entrees were perfectly cooked. I had the bone-in ribeye and my wife had the salmon. Needless to say, she was exceedingly please. Both the steak and fish was prepared to our preferred specifications. We also ordered two sharable sides, mashed potatoes and truffle mac and cheese, to accompany the our entrees. We finshed the dinner off with the Banana Foster Butter cake flambé......Delicious......We were beyond please with the complete dining experence. We will definitely be returning soon.

Excellent food, vibe, and service. First time at the new Eddie V's Prime Seafood and we loved it. We had gotten reservations, upon arrival we were seated promptly. I loved the interiors and the beautiful chandelier in the middle of the restaurant was perfect. Our server George was amazing and made great recommendations . We had the oysters, yellowtail sashimi , Tuna tartare, Chilean sea bass, Ahi Tuna and we got Brussels sprouts and Asparagus as sides. All the dishes were so flavorful . It's a must visit place for amazing seafood options. They have a great steak options too but we were in the mood for sea food. I also love that they have my favorite Aqua Panna. Will definitely be back here to try other things on their menu. I was so full that I didn't get to try the dessert. Definitely trying that the next time around. Must visit spot, highly recommend!

From the moment we entered the restaurant, it was an exceptional experience. The impressive chandeliers and luxurious ambiance draws you immediately in to an evening of luxury and delicious cuisine. The staff - from the hostess to the servers and managers- were amazing, gracious and perfectly attentive. The food was so impeccable and mouthwatering, we were teased into overeating which can be very easy to do here. We came for the golden night lobster roll and wine pairing event and will be back to sample delicacies from their main menu.

I'll start with the service, Joy was 5 stars FANTASTIC! She was on top of everything from our arrival to our departure. When she learned we were celebrating birthdays, she proceeded to decorate our table for10 with fun sprinkles. Her recommendations were on point, I always appreciate when our attendants have tasted the dishes and can provide insights. The food overall was 4 stars, I thought every appetizer was delicious, in order of my favorites: lobster tacos, crab cake, wagyu dumplings, lastly the calamari. The lobster bisque was underwhelming especially coming on the heels of delicious and flavorful appetizers. For the entrees, the sea bass, the sole, and the 12oz wagyu were all delicious. The crab stuffed shrimp and scallops were ok. The crab fried rice for the accompaniment was a hit, but the lobster mashed potatoes was on the dry side and the asparagus was average. Joy surprised us with Happy Birthday dessert plates for each celebrant, awesome touch!

This restaurant has awesome food. The decor is very elegant. The service is top notch, our waitress Joy was the best. I made reservations for my family to have Saturday night dinner for me and my dad's birthday. Joy surprised us with light glitter decorations on the table...it was unexpected nice touch. We ordered a lot...literally my bill was over $1000 but wasn't bad for 10 people. It was money well spent. The crab cakes were amazing. I also liked the lobster bisque, calamari, brussel sprouts, asparagus, Wagyu potstickers, and lobster tacos, crab rice for appetizers. The complimentary bread was also warm and fresh. I was pretty full from just the appetizers but I got the crusted Sole fish for my entree and I still ate half since it was so yummy. I also tried some of my family's entrees and my favorite was the sea bass. Joy surprised me with a flaming happy birthday plate which was so nice! I had a great time with my family in a nice restaurant with very good food and service. What a way to spend my birthday!

    Yellowtail Sashimi

Had an wonderful large family dinner here he other night. Started off strong with welcoming valet service, friendly hostesses, and coat check at the table. Our server was wonderful and promptly arrived at the table upon seating. Throughout the night, we were checked in on multiple times my the manager. No notes on service whatsoever! The food was immediately impressive, as we started off with the seafood tower. It was fresh, the shrimp were perfectly crunchy (as opposed to the clearly farm-raised soft ones you are served at some other establishments), the oysters were so delicious we got 6 more, and the lobster was many of our favorite portion from the night. Don't skip this if you have a group of 3 or more! We also had 2 orders of the yellowtail sashimi which we thought was just fine. Our waitress split a caesar for us without asking because she heard me mention to my friend i'd like to share it, which was kind of her. Two of our party got lobster bisques and unfortunately it was not what we were expecting. This is something none of us would get again because it had an oddly sour taste- but I must compliment the large portion at the very least! The reason this is still easily 5 stars is because the rest of the food was truly exceptional. Everyone loved the tuna tartare, the surf and turf, the scallops, the sea bass, and the assorted cocktails i sampled of my friends. I especially would come back for the sea bass and the tuna tartare. The ambiance is moderately loud and more of a modern-chic decor choice than a warm and cozy one. No issue with one over the other, but something to note. Couldn't have had a better team running this place- we felt like we were friends with them already after eating here! Will definitely be back to try the scallops entree (i had the 3 price addition this time), get another seafood tower, and try more cocktails!

This was an upscale evening from start to finish. We were greeted at the host stand and were seated quickly due to us having a reservation for Father's Day weekend. Our server introduced himself and was extremely professional, kind and entertaining throughout the course of the evening he offered suggestions and even put on a show when delivering my espresso martini the main lobster tacos were fantastic and my Chilean Seabass was buttery, smooth and perfectly made. When you're paying a high price point you want to see that in every aspect of the experience and I felt we did just that.

They have a nice lounge area on the patio as well to enjoy drinks. I had enchiladas. I like that they give you the option to choose two. They also let me get no shrimp in the chicken & shrimp enchilada. I appreciate their flexibility. My husband had the tacos. He chose the three he wanted. There were plenty of options. Positives: -variety of food on the menu -flexibility and accuracy -huge patio and lounge area - kids meal: good options, very reasonable price, includes milk. My son had a chicken quesadilla, mac and cheese, and corn. We also added the churro sundae. He loved it! -good happy hour deals 3-6pm -friendly service I would come back!

I enjoy the light feeling that hits you upon walking in while at the same time knowing that the place is just as beautiful at night. We were sat down quickly and our waiter Gianna met us promptly. We ordered drinks and began conversation. I ordered the cucumber lime drink, while my coworker order the pineapple and coconut drink. When our drinks arrived, our waiter sat them in front of the wrong people and that made for a doozy. We placed our orders and noticed that our waiter was the only one serving about 3-4 tables during the lunch hour! I ordered the barria tacos with black beans and refried beans. The refried beans didn't taste very good, but the black beans were flavorful and complimented the meal well. The Barria tacos were dry and then it hit us that we were not given the consommé that goes with our meal. I also ordered a side of chicken tortilla soup.......it was served lukewarm to cold. Unfortunately it didn't taste good and I sent it back. I won't write Ancho & Agave off just yet, but I'm going to keep a watch for improvements on my next visit.

To celebrate the occasion the hostess placed sparkly confetti as well as a card that said "cheers" on the table before we arrived. Very nice attention to detail. We were seated in the main dining area and could easily see the open kitchen. Tim our server was very nice although he did forget my salad and took forever to take our initial orders, other than that he was good. The Manhattan was perfect - not too sweet and ice cold. Bread service was great - warm poppy seed, onion and pumpernickel breads as well as some crispy flatbread type of cracker. We enjoyed the fried calamari with peppers (plenty of those!) which didn't even need a dipping sauce they had enough flavor on their own. My better half had a cup of the lobster bisque and it was flavorful however it had too much flour as a thickener so it coated the mouth with a bit of pastiness. The two boys had a dry aged New York strip and a bone in rib eye. Both were well seasoned honey the NY strip was really chewy at the smaller end. Bearnaise sauce was decent but not as good as my own - it needed more vinegar and tarragon. My seabass was spectacular - perfectly cooked and flaky with just the right amount of seasoning. The tiny asparagus underneath were almost laughably small! The gave our nephew a complementary mini dessert plate with a flourless chocolate cake and a cheesecake - nice touch!

A beautiful circular room that was glass enclosed with views of outside and the bar area. They had sheet curtains incase groups wanted a bit more privacy. The room also had a personal fan for air circulation and an independent speaker system to adjust music volume. For drinks, our group got a variety of cocktails, beer, and wine. I got the Hugo Spritz which was a great portion & tasted amazing. While some cocktails on menu were expensive, my Spritz was $14 and my friend's tito's dirty martini was only $13. Definitely consider just ordering a classic versus one of their mixology offerings if you're looking for a budget conscious option. For starters, we shared the Stuffed Mushrooms, Calamari, and Spinach & Artichoke Dip. The portions were good for sharing. The Stuffed Mushrooms had a seafood mix in them with a delicious sauce paired under. The Calamari had a hint of spicy to it but nothing crazy. The Spinach & Artichoke Dip had a good truffle note and was creamy; the dip could have used a few more chips but some individuals used the complimentary bread slices. Most individuals got a soup or salad before the mains. The Lobster Bisque Soup was rich and creamy with a good amount of lobster. Others tried the Caesar, Chop, and Field Green Pear Salads. The Pear Salad could have been shared by two people since it was a starter salad. Everyone raved about the flavors of these. For mains, most people got steaks and shared side dishes of Brussel Sprouts, Truffle Steak Fries, and Asparagus. The sides were shareable for 2-3 people I would say. I ordered the Seared Scallop Pasta and loved it! The noodles were al dente, two sauces paired nicely together, and loved the vegetables that brightened up the dish. For desserts, we shared the Rocky Road Bread Pudding, Fudgy Chocolate Cake, and Orange Vanilla Cream Cheesecake. Every option brought its own flavor and offered something for everyone. I tried the Bread Pudding and Chocolate Cake and WOW! I'd certainly order either one again. While all of the food, drinks, and atmosphere were great, I struggled some with the service. Our main server was Christine who guided us through the menu nicely, made sure the room was comfortable for us, and had a sweet demeanor. The pacing of food was a bit off where it felt like dishes were being taken off the table with a couple of bites left just to serve the next course. I'm not a fan of wasting food when out and I felt these little bites could have been saved and sent home with guests. If we paid for it, we should ALWAYS be asked. There were a couple of side requests that came to the table very delayed and one meal that came at the end of dinner. I'm sure it is difficult to manage a large group setting but I felt disappointed to see items wasted, pacing rushed, and certain people waiting to enjoy till additional items came.
